I passed Valerie Bell, who has often been our superbly wonderful service rep, on my way in to get a cup of coffee. She was warm and personable and insured that a rather ancient "free oil change/tire rotation" was honored (which had been the reason I came in on ladies day, just in case it COLDN'T be honored, however 'free' was even better! I enjoyed watching the tech work on my Honda fit as though it were his own Automobile and was super pleased that I was in and out of there with my servicing complete and a full report of things to take care of in the near future and the order in which to do those things most economically thanks to Josh. My early morning /evening driving is deteriorating, so I questioned why I would ever think about a 7 AM appointment in the future however today's experience made me realize I will definitely consider how very quick and cheerfully I could start my day AND drive out with my FIT being in shape shape (and Clean!!! with pollen, even though my husband had it washed mid-February I was embarrassed, bringing it in looking so 'tired'. When my wife decided on a used black one at another dealership, Axel didn't give up and told us he may be able to get a black one from Orlando. When he came back from looking into that possibility, Axel asked if we were willing to buy a new 2026 model for thousands less than the price of the used one at the other dealership. We took him up on his offer and ended up buying the new one. We were very pleased with Axel's no pressure approach and transparency in the process of the sale. He explained that his manager, Patrick Lawton, approved the sale in an effort to meet a sales goal for the quarter. Mina Habib in the Finance Department took us through the sales process, informed us of optional packages without pressuring us to buy them, and answered all of our questions. My daughter's father died, and she wanted to keep his car. The air was not working when we took it, so I brought it right to Courtesy to get the air fixed. The first couple of times, they thought it was a leak they said they fixed. The third time I brought it for the same problem, Tracy said she would make sure it was fixed! She said it was the blower motor and they replaced it. A year later, it isn't working, so I took it to Ice Cold Air who looked at it and said the blower motor needed to be replaced. They thought it would be under warrantee. I called, and spoke to Tracy who said it would be under warrantee. I didn't want to leave Ice Cold Air before verifying that, because, if it wasn't, I was going to have Ice Cold Air fix it. I am now at Honda having to pay to get the blower motor replaced because it was a month out of warrantee. I am stuck because I left Ice Cold Air and am going on a road trip tomorrow. I have given Courtesy Honda over $10k in the two years I have had this car. I will never use them again and will never buy Honda! read more

I received a recall notice in the mail. I called Courtesy Honda of Palm Harbor where the took all my info including vin number. She told me what work would be done and set my appt. for 8am the following week. when I arrived and pulled in the service bay the man approached my window and asked me "did you order the parts?" I said "no." He laughed out loud and told me the call center was supposed to connect me to the parts dept, but they always forget. Another person approached and said they didn't have the parts. she said she would "personally" order them and call me in a week to re-schedule. After waiting for three weeks, I called and they had the nerve to tell me I wasn't in their system. Was very disappointed, had an 9am appt, but when I got there for estimate for body work, the person doing the estimate was his day off and my original appt. was never scheduled , then we made another appt for the nx day (day 2), now the body work person stated they don't work on plastic ??? Aren't the majority of vehicle bumpers made of plastic. Then to top it off, we meet one of the Sales man outside who states he's from Brooklyn probably late 40's, has a tan tells me n my friend how he worked for popular radio stations and people. Which wasn't true..but I noticed when I went to pick up my car he was laughing alot..see here's the real joke, I wanted to ask him info on trading my vehicle, my vehicle is low in mileage and I was there just to fix a ding, and my friend was thinking of doing the same thing and we both have very good credit...Could've had a nice commission, well quess the joke was on him. Great place to buy a car. Wasn't pressured. Got good trade in value. Got a great deal on the car we bought. Was the cheapest in the area for the year make model and trim level we got. Service dept has the best advisors in the area as well. Have also been greeted promptly. Even more so at their new location. The advisors are right there on the drive. The work performed on my cars have been done efficiently and professionally. The new location may not allow you into the shop anymore but they do have a viewing window into the service center. read more

I did loads of research & spent hours at another dealership prior to arriving at Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda. I was all set to drive from St Pete to Brandon (they have a rep for having the highest inventory), but their reviews are terrible. Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I chose Courtesy Palm Harbor. I drove the 35 minutes up to Palm Harbor on a Sunday & met Mick as soon as I stepped out of my car. He wasn't pushy, was pretty laid back for a car salesman & showed me exactly what I asked for. Mick even humored me & showed me the exact same duplicate car I had just test drove, so I could choose between the 2 identical cars. The negotiating process is the absolutely annoying part of a car purchase. Tony (sales manager) and Mick worked to come to a mutual agreement between us all for the sale price & after some frustration, anger, and calming down... 5 hours later, we all came out happy. The financial manager even got me a great interest rate (better than my own credit union) & worked through the paperwork in a surprisingly timely manner. Mick even helped me sync my phone with the car & set up some basic features in my new HRV. I love my new car & greatly appreciated the follow up phone call from Tony a few days later to iron out a few last minute questions/concerns. Also, service prices can't be beat, so I'll be doing the 30 minute drive back up to Palm Harbor for oil changes & in 8-10 years when I've recovered from this negotiating process, I'll be back to Courtesy for another car. read more

I left 3 messages for her on 3 separate days. She was out sick so i waited a week to contact her again. She wasn't there so I was given Chads voicemail and left him a message. I also sent 2 emails to Rachel after the phone situation did not work. Long story short, no call backs, no emails. Completely ghosted. My grandson drove me from Wesley Chapel to your dealership today. I had been working with Louis from USF Credit Union for purchase of a 2016 Traverse. Arrangements were made with Valon to come in today around 2:00. Louis told me that the paperwork was already completed and all I had to do was sign. We arrived about 2:20 and after a ten minute wait were told that the vehicle had been sold about fifteen minutes prior to our arrival. You know what Rt. 19 traffic is like. As the manager you should have been aware that the paperwork for that vehicle had already been completed, except for my signature, and that I was on my way to complete that. My question to you is---what really happened? How can you close a deal with another party when you have the financial paperwork for that vehicle from me? You did try to find another vehicle for me but you had nothing to meet my requirements, I will be sure to share this experience with my book club, women's club, volunteer group, church members etc. As you know, word of mouth is the best advertiser whether it is good or bad. We found a pristine 2015 Hyundai Elantra at Palm Harbor Honda with only 50K miles on it. The price was extremely competitive to many other dealers we looked at in the area. There were some very small areas where the paint faded and they had a professional painter repaint those areas with perfection at no cost. Then my sons battery died after about 40 days and they replaced it at no cost. Alvin Santana, the general sales manager, was very straight forward and gave us detailed information in writing on their offer before we set foot in the dealership. Negotiation was simple and direct. While many dealerships are inflating the prices during the chip shortage and trying to get way over MSRP, Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda did not to that. The price was fair given the limited supply of cars and there were no games played. They do have dealer fees like most dealerships in Florida, but we knew that going in. Once at the dealership, the car was already prepped and cleaned. Tarah, our sales person, was super friendly and very detailed in showing us how everything worked and taking my wife on a test drive. First, my review is based on the fact that I purchased the vehicle : - Online without looking at the vehicle - that is not reliable I purchased a used Land Rover from this dealer and as I live in California, I purchased the vehicle online. I talked to 4 different people going thru purchasing and they were nice, and responded pretty fast. Issue 1 : First day I had my car delivered, the car came without any licence plates or temporary registration. I understand that they had to re-register the vehicle under a different state but car had no plates or registration. I could not drive it for few days. Issue 2 : I looked at photos and realized that floor mat from the passenger side was missing. I specifically asked about it and they said it is in the trunk. I get the car delivered, it is indeed missing. Liar Issue 3 : Then I found that the passenger side floor was soaked wet. Flooded. Turned out the car had issues with sunroof drain. Called the dealer to claim the issue and they first blamed me that I probably left the window opened. Like, really? I convinced them that it is a defect and they said they are willing to pay for it. But they said "not to go to Land Rover dealer because dealers overcharge". I'm like, really? You are a Honda dealer and telling me that I should not go to a dealer. oh lord. Issue 4 : Two weeks in, I realized that engine makes terrible rattling noise. I had it quickly looked at it at Land Rover dealer and they said it could be timing chain or the supercharge which would cost me $5000 to $7000 to fix. I told them about it and they said there is nothing they can do about it. and the sales manager James Holsten was no help. Would not return the call or email, and became less friendly as soon as I purchase the car. I recommend to deal with someone else if you have a chance. He does not care about you. Is it their fault for an unreliable car? no. Should they take the car back? It will be nice if they did but no, I purchased the car as is. Is it their fault that I bought the car without looking at it? No, it's my fault. But did they throughly checked the vehicle and service used cars? Obviously NOT Do they care about you? Nope, they only care about money. After all it is my fault but now I ended up with a 30k loan for a car that needs 7K repair. Watch out if you are buying a used car. We had an excellent car-leasing experience at Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda- our 2nd time with the dealership, and we will likely be return customers every 3 years from now on. First off, management was on the ball, extending an invitation for me to return my Honda Accord early, about 6 weeks before the lease's end. We were promptly introduced to our sales representative, Arben, and he listened to what we wanted before taking us on two test drives, a CRV, then an HRV. Arben is exceptionally polite and professional and not overly aggressive. At one point, he simply asked "what can I do to win your business today?" Very forthcoming. We chose the Honda CRV, and we struck a deal within 90 minutes of arriving. Easy and reasonable. Our color of choice was not in stock so we arranged to take delivery a couple of weeks later. Before leaving, the Manager (Brian?) asked me to suspend my last payment on my Accord- very much appreciated the heads-up. We picked it up a day before Thanksgiving in their brand-new showroom (just moved that week). Arben took his time to describe the features, and there were no "surprise" hidden costs. We now have a high quality Honda CRV with all the features we wanted. Arben also found the time to follow-up to see if we had any questions. After purchasing a vehicle at the agreed price not only did they FAIL TO GIVE US THE CAR but the employees are all a mess. They seem not to be on good terms with one another and all have no communication amongst each other. For the past week we have been considering a vehicle here or a Toyota, which frankly had better service and better prices. Having previously owned a CRV once before, we decided to stay in the Honda family but this is deplorable. The sales team seem to be all discombobulated and unable to find any common ground. Having made a previous appointment to look at the vehicles and potentially purchase one, when we arrived they told us that Sandy was unavailable but John so and so was.... Something came up... ok... well John so and so never showed up either!!!! Go back to the lobby to ask for service, finally get someone and this should have been our first red flag... A day later we come to an agreement and decide to purchase, only to pay and now leave with no vehicle having to return! Where on earth has this ever happened before?! Brought Honda in for service though the CNA national extended warranty contract was bought through Crown Honda and had approval for replacing starter through CNA national and was completed same day Courtesy Honda's policy though is to hold your vehicle hostage till the warranty company sends them their monies for us that was 3 and 1/2 days so the moral of the story is that if your close enough to the dealer you purchased a warranty through use them to do the work as we will now do from here on out if in town read more

We purchased a Honda Odyssey this week. We worked with Ed Gowski, who made the process extremely easy on us. Due to COVID-19, we did all our discussions on the phone, but were still able to drop by and see the van before purchase. Ed came to our house Friday evening, wearing a mask and gloves for everyone's protection from the virus. We signed all the paperwork within 10 minutes. When we went to pick up the van the next day, Ed again wore a mask and fresh gloves. The steering wheel and driver's seat were wrapped in plastic.
