Extremely disappointed, particularly with how this company handled my military service and income…read more I am a 20-year Army veteran and current Army Reservist, and I have successfully done business with this company before and made all payments on time. I applied for a debt-consolidation loan and was initially told my application looked great and that I qualified for more than I requested. That's important, I was already qualified for more than the requested amount. I was promised a callback that never came. I finally called them myself near closing on Friday before a 3-day weekend, only to be denied by different agents than one I started with. A major reason was that my Army Reserve unit did not drill last month, so I had no military pay statement within the last 30 days. Despite offering three months of income history upfront, another 20 yrs of statements, AND my official Army drill schedule showing my continued service and upcoming drills, they refused to even consider it. I find it incredibly disappointing that a financial company would use a policy that can effectively treat an actively serving Reservist as though their military income or employment disappeared simply because their unit did not drill within an arbitrary 30-day window (an issue I haven't seen anywhere else). Reserve and National Guard members do not control when their units schedule duty. They also refused documentation showing that my required student-loan payment is $0/month. Being denied is not what prompted this review. Credit approval is never guaranteed. It's the refusal to consider documentation that directly addressed their concerns, the way my Reserve service was handled, or flat out disregarded and treated like it had no value, the conflicting information I received, and the promised callback that never happened. Military members, Reservists, and National Guard members should be aware of my experience before applying, the don't value your service and commitment in the slightest.

I saw someone today (I think her name is Jillian - why can't I remember names? Ugh!!!). She was very sweet and efficient in handling what I came there for. We had a great conversation & we laughed the entire time. I like it when a potentially stressful situation is made easy for me. I also like that there's always somewhere to park. This can be inconvenient for people that work during these hours. I rarely need to go inside but when I do there is typically always an extended wait since there aren't many employees working. During my most recent visit which I had to wait until the weekend to make because of the short hours, the teller advised me that this bank wasn't her home location so she couldn't assist me with what I needed done. The other bankers were all in their offices assisting other customers. After the teller & two other bankers spoke for a few minutes and then answered questions of another customer that came in after us, one banker came over and advised me that she could help me in about 10-15 mins. A few mins later another banker came over to assist me but she couldn't get logged into the system after several attempts. She then asked me to come back another day since she thinks that the particular system may be doing an update or something. Update: I came back the next business day & the same teller told me that this location doesn't perform this task anymore so I needed to go to a full service location. When I asked why they didn't tell me the other day, she said they didn't know & the transition was starting today.
