Brought my Mazda here to get a chrome delete vinyl wrap. Was excited to bring my car here as the reviews were very positive and the shop was local to Santee. The owner was very nice and was able to fit me in for an appointment in just a couple days after bringing my car by. Initially, I was quoted $400 after providing pictures of the car and what was requested for the chrome delete. I was then quoted $450 after bringing the car by for the owner to see the car. When I brought my car the day of the appointment, I was then told it would be $500 as the owner said it would be extra labor as the grill would need to removed to wrap it. This rubbed me a little bit the wrong way, but no big deal, I'd be happy to pay it for a good wrap. The actual chrome delete itself I felt was kind of sloppy. Lots of spots where the vinyl looked like it was not properly adhered to the plastic. Spots where it was already lifting. Lots of little "fixes" where you can tell they used little strips of vinyl to cover up pieces of the chrome. A lot of the vinyl has jagged edges and doesn't look smooth. The front grill you can tell was wrapped with two pieces, and they used little vinyl strips to cover the areas where the two pieces of vinyl meet, to cover up chrome showing. To top it off after a couple days I lifted my hood when I went to check my oil and noticed they didn't bother to attach a piece of the plastic engine bay that covers the radiator. I'm lucky that that piece didn't fall into the radiator fan or engine belt. It was just sitting right there on the engine plastic cover. Overall kinda disappointed in the work. I thought it would come out better than it did. Owner was very nice but I don't have any confidence that the vinyl will last, after one gentle hand wash a good strip of chrome is already showing after a little vinyl strip came off. read more

I really wanted to love this spot because it's run by a veteran but I've been here twice and I just can't recommend them. I came around 2 years ago and when I got my car back there were tools left in my car, my speakers were disconnected somehow (didn't get speaker work done), there was SO much grease and dirty water or spray for the tint inside, one side of my backseat panels looked like it didn't get put back in right, there were bubbles in the tint. I returned the tools and was told to wait and the bubbles would go away, but they never did. Fast forward and the bubbles got worse, along with the back window tint completely peeling up, I reached out a few months ago and they said they'd fix it for free. They give me a day to come in only to tell me they actually don't have the tint I need -____- I have to come back and don't get a call for hours. I had to call more than once to get an update on my car being finished. I get there and the back window is already peeling up, there's grease marks all over the inside of my car, and both my back panels are popped out. I asked them to fix it and they try but after standing in the sun for over an hour, they say they can't fix it. Okay so you messed up my car?? I was already mad for waiting so long and just reached out to the company over the next few days only to not get a response until I reached out multiple times (via yelp and telephone). The owner texts me saying they'll clean the inside of my car but I tell him I already booked a car detail somewhere else. I asked if they could pay for my detail instead because I don't trust their company right now anyways and he says they would just clean the inside and he'll look at my car himself. That's what he said the last 2 times I went in and so I just cut my losses and paid to get my car cleaned elsewhere since I wasn't able to get the grease out. My tint is still peeled up in the back and when it gets worse I'm just going to go somewhere else. They took such great care of me and my 99 clk320 Benz. I came originally for a crack in my window to get treated, once I get there I find two more and he went ahead and helped with it too. The service was so speedy, I learned so much too. Chad and the entire staff was so accommodating and sweet. Was impressed by all the positive reviews at first. So I took my car here to get just the passenger side window done. But when I got my car back I noticed it didn't match the driver side tint. They put on a darker tint with a warmer color to it. I called them when I got home and said I noticed it didn't match. I was simply told "it's not going to." I would think matching the existing tint would be a given, and if it can't be done, then I'd prefer to know about it before they install the tint. This just seems common sense. read more

There were so many things I wanted to love about this place. Local & Veteran owned. Over the phone they seemed so pleasant. Then I showed up and the location has zero AC. So if you are thinking about waiting good luck. Now for my tint job. I went with the high end ceramic. I picked up my car after about 5 hours. Tipped just about $100 ahead of time...first mistake. I get home and there's so much water damage all over my dashboard my center console and the leather on my doors. Their soap solution was left everywhere. This is the 6th car I have had tinted. I've never received my car like this. I spent the afternoon cleaning my interior. I waited a week and a half for the windows to cure, wiped them, and I was just so disappointed. Of the 10 windows at least 5 have to be redone. Debris, air pockets, wrinkles, and areas where the tint wasn't worked in all the way to the edge. At over $600 PLUS tip...I am pretty disappointed. I went back to replace the tint. Explained my concerns regarding the water damage and was promised this would not be an issue again. The tint bubbled again! And my car has been experiencing electrical issues. The dealership confirmed there's moisture damage to the doors and my BDC...basically the entire electrical system. Called earlier today and was told someone would get back to me tomorrow. I'd expect to be called immediately. Guess this isn't urgent. read more

Update: As it turns out, quick fast and in a hurry is not something you want in applying window tint. One of the two windows that was tinted had a 12" scar in it and the other window had some very small bubbles. I called the very next day after the tint was applied and the lady at the desk told me to wait a week and see if it went away... I did. I called 6 days later and it felt like she was aggravated with me. Luckily I had an appt for the following day for my car that I was able to swap out to have the truck redone because there wasn't another opening for 12 days. I took the truck in and they ripped off the old and put a new set of tint on my two windows. I drove off and saw a bump in the tint so turned around and went back. 3rd time is the charm I guess. I still see many imperfections, I'll give it time but honestly, I'm done here. I'm not giving it a 4th chance to get it right. I'm giving 2 stars because the owner of this place is very nice. Original review: Called and made an appt for my 2 front windows on my truck. Receptionist was very nice. I got to my appointment and she was very knowledgeable about the products offered. There is not a million options which I 1000% appreciate because I would have suffered from analysis paralysis! I was driving my truck away from the business 22 minutes later! So fast. So in order to get services you must book a appointment. I called them and asked what if I walk in right when they open and I was told they could but once the person with a appointment shows up they'd have to tend to them, so I just decided to make an appointment. I went in for my appointment 3 weeks later which is today. I arrived for my 8a appointment and not only where there 3 walk ins in front but the quote of $150 I agreed to was bumped up to $210. I just don't get why they do business like that it's really discouraging. This isn't my first issue with them either. So the first time I went in the owner made a joke about me not getting my Windows tinted to dark because driving while black in a thing. I'm African American and he is white.... Decided to take the plunge with this place. It was the price that brings me in. He had the best price out of all the places I've called. Got there on time day of appointment. However, I was disappointed he doesn't have 5%. The lowest was 8%. Didn't want to back out. Another customer came. Later found out he had a complaint of his back window. He said the defrost line was cut when it was tinted. Chad agreed to go half and half with him to replace it. That kind of killed my mood. I walked all the way to the trolley shopping plaza. Few hours later got a call from Chad to pick up my car. Second disappointment was the color of the film. It has that brownish color to it. Mileage of my car were added. I'm not sure where they took my car to. I had my front windshield tinted also. I noticed there's a couple of crease line on the driver side. I try taking a couple pics and it didn't do justice. I never brought it to their attention. Well almost a year later the driver side window started to peel. I texted Chad up and he said to bring it in. He replaced it with no question ask. I kept all my receipts maybe that helps. Usually when I try to go back for anything I would always get the blame on and excuses after excuses, not with Chad.
