I've used him at home, he's done a good job in two places where I've worked. I'll give him two stars because he used to be a competent locksmith. But for some reason, he's totally lost it. He's lost his interest, he's forgetful, and he's hard to reach. He's now a 1-star locksmith. My company wanted to buy one of those fancy, expensive combination locks with the buttons. Harold told us we could use one we already had. He had moved that lock from one office to another in the past, so we said okay. It took a month to get the lock off the old door. It took another month to put it on the new door. And yesterday one of his guys (after drilling new holes in the door) tells us that the lock won't fit the door. And their fix to the door with the new unnecessary holes is the most unprofessional job I've ever seen. I think he owes the company a new door. Harold, thanks for the good service over the years. You probably still have a good reputation with some of your long time customers. Please retire before you lose your last shred of dignity.

I called Ekeys because they had an office. I called them and got a $100 estimate. I drove right over there and it turned out that my back fob had no battery in it. They could have taken me for a ride. They charged me $10 for a battery and making a minor adjustment to the key fob I had been using. You don't ordinarily find that kind of service and honesty. I expressed my thanks to them and gave them $20. I was very grateful. It kind of made my day. I have been shoveling snow for 2 days straight and still haven't got all the walks cleared.
