Lu's treated me extremely well. He quickly figured out the battery in the remote was put in upside down which explained why the remote didn't work. We had a laugh when he flipped it over and it worked. He could have screwed me over for $200 and I wouldn't have known the difference. Instead he sent me on my way at a cost of $0 and a laugh. These people are AWESOME. They saved me the cost of a new fob and programming by recommending I push the dealer to provide a second Fob/remote start on a car I just purchased but only received one fob for. I tried telling the dealer I should have recieved two (even though this used car was traded in with only one) and they agreed!. So although I saved about $350, Lu's lost $350 on my sale, they made me a lifetime customer when I do need them, as I have in the past, a couple of times. My wife lost her key fob. I began searching for a replacement and called several locksmiths and the dealership. The dealership prices including cutting the key and programing would cost $338 and require they have our car for 1/2 day. I could find quotes on remanfactured for $160 but they could not get the fob. I found Lu through Google and called him. He was straight forward quoted a price only for new fob and programing for almost $100 less than the dealer and said it would take him a half and hour. Run, don't walk to Lu's Car Key service. What a great experience today. Price was extremely competitive, the time to produce the new keys was more than efficient and I could not have been happier. Be prepared to make max use of your GPS if you are trying to meet up with Lu in Lawrence. He does have an office next to a parking lot but he really operates out of his hi tech van where he can do the keys as you wait. Could not have been more pleased and I highly recommend his services. Additionally he is a very nice guy. Do not be taken in my those key hustlers who use counterfeit key slugs and promote a low-ball price. I can't say enough good things about Lu's. He was extremely professional and genuinely cared about making sure things he was as helpful as he could be. First of all, after I dropped off the car I needed to take an Uber home from his garage. Since the garage is in Andover and I live in Methuen he offered to drop me off at my house then take my car back to his garage to save me money on an Uber. He installed a remote starter then brought the car back to me...saving me the money I would have cost for an Uber again! Also about a week after remote starter was installed in my car, the car wouldn't start. I thought that it may have something to do with the installment of the remote starter so I called Lu. Even though Lu figured that the car just needed a jump start he came by anyway to make sure everything was right. Just as he figured, a light was left on overnight and the battery just needed to be recharged. Lu resolved the issue by giving my car a jumpstart. I would highly recommend him. Please go to him for service if and when you need it. You absoloutely won't regret it! Plus the remote starter is about the size of 2 quarters. Today is the coldest day thus far this fall. I went out to my car to run some errands at about 2pm and discovered my remote would not unlock my car. My extra key had stopped working 18 months before so I knew I needed to replace them. I called Lu's Car Keys & Lock Services. Lu called me back within 10 min.
