The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

From the moment Paul came to our home to inspect our old, leaking skylight, we knew we were dealing with a company that values professionalism and integrity. Paul didn't just go up on the roof and look at the skylight--he inspected our entire roof. He found a section with missing shingles and included that repair at no additional charge. The crew replaced our skylight along with the extensive rotted roof sheathing around it. While they were on the roof, they sealed a vent pipe and a second skylight--all at no additional charge because, as they told us, they just wanted to make sure our roof was protected. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. They provided photos and videos before, during, and after the work, so we could see every step of the project. If a picture is worth a thousand words... this is how they left my electric box after they finished…read morethe job. By chance, the electric company stopped by the next day to check my meter, and started banging on my door to ask what in the world was up with my electric meter/box. They said the metal was so bent that even if I had the cover, it wouldn't fit back on. It turns out that anyone walking by who touched it could've gotten an electric shock! The electric company wanted to shut off the power to my entire house immediately - it was that serious - but since it was in the winter they didn't. The electric company was kind enough to wrap a tarp around the box, since any rain or snow getting in could cause extensive damage, including frying my whole electrical panel. It turned out that MightyDog had done extensive electrical work without an electrical permit, and by people who were not licensed to do that work. They had to pay thousands of dollars to an emergency Electrician; I appreciate that they paid it, but that's how bad it was. They also did extensive damage to my mini splits, which they refuse to take responsibility for. I think they did a good job on my roof, but I can't in good conscience recommend this business.

The smoke coming up through the floors was so strong we were getting smoke inhalation symptoms. Gross! But then we noticed that the smell was strongest where our floorboards had wide gaps, and we wondered if flooring might be the answer. We love the look of our historic floors, so preserving that was a big concern for us. We reached out to Thomas about sealing up the gaps with caulking and he responded the same day. He fit us in for a consult within two weeks and sent an estimate one hour after his inspection. One week later, they were in our house working. Even though it was October in Salem, he and his team came out and delivered. 3 weeks from start to finish. For a very fair price, we now have airtight floors that look exactly as aged and beautiful as they were before. We were worried that adding caulk between the boards might take away from their charm, but the team was so careful and neat in their work that you would never noticed the filling unless we pointed it out.
