We have had two cars serviced at Autosport Werks. With our first car, a Mini Cooper, we had no issues. With our second car, a Jaguar E-Pace, we still had some repair concerns after servicing. We are rating them 5 stars because as soon as they were made aware that we had additional repair concerns, Curtis (the manager) immediately reached out to us to discuss our concerns and get our car back in for additional inspection. They took care of everything and kept us informed the entire time on their process. They completed all the additional repairs in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. We were so impressed with their follow up with us and the steps they kept to continue to earn our business. We will continue to bring all three of our European cars there for service. read more

Really bad experience. Went there on recommendation to fix an oil leak. Stated the job would cost $6,000. Two months later the underside of engine was covered in oil and leaking again. Stated they needed ANOTHER $4,000 to do the job!!!??? Talking didn't lead anywhere, they just made excuses. Sad to say they got an easy $6,000 out of me. I called Autosport Werks to verify their diagnostic pricing while comparing quotes from a few shops. Blaine answered the phone. From the start, he wasn't particularly friendly or helpful--seemed rushed, borderline annoyed, and kept pushing me to just bring the car in without answering basic questions about the part cost. After we hung up, I realized I wasn't sure if he said the diagnostic was $240 or $299, so I called back to clarify. This time, Blaine told me it was $240 for "about an hour." That felt vague, so I repeated it back to confirm--"So it's $240 for a little less than an hour?"--and suddenly his tone shifted. He got defensive and snapped, "I didn't say that, I don't know what you're trying to get at here." Instead of clarifying like any decent service advisor would, he made the conversation more tense than it needed to be. Eventually he confirmed, again, that it was $240 just to look at the vehicle--but the whole exchange left me confused and frustrated. What really stood out was the lack of professionalism. On the first call, he even started talking to another customer in person before our call had finished, like he couldn't be bothered to fully engage with my questions. I get that shops are busy, but that doesn't excuse poor communication or short-tempered responses. I had considered bringing my vehicle in, but after two calls with the same advisor and that kind of attitude, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I have had German cars and Japanese cars all my life. My Tacoma is a good workhorse and ski vehicle, not exactly fun to drive. Generally, it is cheaper to maintain a Toyota. I was pretty sure I needed a new battery for my Mini Cooper. I was stuck at home with a broken leg so I had my car towed to Autosport Werks where they had previously chased down an annoying rattle for me. The shop manager called me and said I also needed an oil change and brake fluid and the cost would be $1,400! I said that was way too high, which caused the guy to argue with me for the next 20 minutes. I got so angry , he kept repeating that I could get it done cheaper but they would be using the best parts and high tech workers. I told him to go ahead and replace the battery , for $650! and I would have someone else do the other work and that I would not be using them again . He continued to argue that he didn't want to do the work unless I was going to be happy with it. I told him I would be happy if the car started. He was very unprofessional and rude( talking over me) and trying to convince me that this is the price for having it done right. Very expensive and the shop manager is a real jerk. read more

If you value the condition of your vehicle and expect a higher quality of service along with the dealer level labor rate, do not come here. Brought my e46 here to diagnose rapid coolant loss, a pretty standard e46 issue. They ended up diagnosing it as a potential cap failure and suggested a coolant cap, thermostat(due to pending codes), and coolant flush because they didn't see anything else. Fair enough, thought the $1500 they quoted was a bit high, but whatever. Ended up having a friend offer to buy the car in its current state, so I gave AutoSport Werks a call and paid for the diag ($240!!!!!) over the phone at around 9am and asked them to place my key on the front passenger floorboard or a rear tire so I could pick it up after close, since I worked until 7pm. Advisor said he would get that taken care of, and the receipt would be on the passenger seat, and the key would be under the passenger floormat or on top of a rear tire. Aside from pricing (which I can't really actually complain about, obviously I chose to take my car here.), only alarming thing this far was the advisor referring to the orange oil level light as the oil pressure light, but here's where it all falls apart. I get there about an hour after close to pick up my vehicle. First thing I noticed was two giant dirty handprints on either side of the BMW logo. Second thing I noticed was the oily fingerprints on the door handle, third thing I noticed was the rubber/leather door pull is absolutely covered in black oil residue. I get into the car, no key or receipt to be found, I check the back tires, still no key or receipt. When I popped the hood, the area around the coolant reservoir was COVERED in coolant, the belly pan was literally actively dripping blue g48 in their lot, and there was still some LIQUID COOLANT around the engine bay. I'm not sure how you are supposed to diag a coolant leak properly when EVERYTHING IS COVERED IN COOLANT. I want to add, the charge absolutely went through, the first thing I did was check my credit card statement after I saw all of this, so it's not as if they were holding the car for non-payment, I would totally understand that. Also wanted to mention, I paid for my diag in the morning before work, when I came to pick the car up after work (after 7pm, a minimum full 10 hours after they said they moved my car) and it still had temp in it, why? Did it get overheated? Did it get taken on a joyride? Is the rest of my cooling system ok? Who knows. Normally I wouldn't start worrying about stuff like that but, They didn't diag it properly and when you leave somebodies car in a sad state like that, it's gonna raise some eyebrows VERY high. This is FAR, FARRR from the level of service I expect from a shop charging $240 US DOLLARS for diag. I am a car enthusiast and a technician myself, I can do my own work, I pay someone and trust someone with my vehicle because I expect everything to be done to a very high standard (ESPECIALLY AT $240) and frankly don't want to do it myself. This is completely unacceptable. If you were wondering, yes, in this rare case, taking your BMW to Gebhardt or even Schomp () is MILES better than this indy shop experience, this is the type of service dragging the reputation of indy shops as a whole down. It's honestly, very, very sad to see, because I had very high hopes for autosport werks, several people PRAISED them and their quality of service to me in person. and if this service went well I was planning on using them for some SAAB work in the future, just unfortunate. I just hope they make this right, I honestly was really hoping I could've left a 5 star but this is completely unacceptable. read more

I went to AutoSportWerks a year ago for an annual oil change for my Audi. I felt I was treated fairly so I went back to them again in 2025. NOT the same experience. Their service recommendations were incredibly costly. My son is a mechanic so wanted to run it by him before scheduling any service repairs. He did some of the service recommendations (some of which were NOT needed, by the way. He showed me pics of the filters that were recommended to be changed but were totally clean), and I found another shop who would do the rest. AutoSportWerks would have cost me $1,355 for the same repairs that I paid $525 for. Don't go here. read more

My advice, find someone else quickly. I brought my 2012 Mini to them to diagnose an engine warning light. No oil leaks. They diagnosed a number of engine seals that were not holding proper pressure in some areas. All told it was almost $2900 including labor and it needed a new drivers side seatbelt, another $900 or so, totaling around 4k. Nowhere on the bill did it break down how much each repair would cost in parts and labor, nor did I see a shop rate. I reluctantly agreed. Next day another shop saw their pictures and said they never would have recommended all of those repairs at this time. Told autowerks to stop work and was told it would already cost over 3k without the repairs because of labor. Come to find out their shop rate is around $230 to $241 an hour. And they find ways to max out their time. Now a few months later the vacuum pump leaks oil and they want $1650 to fix it and clean out charger tubes. Took it to another high quality shop and it was completed in one day for $900. Trying to get a printout of their work from them and they neglect to email it and now are trying to not answer the phone when I call. Because of them I am upside down in my car to the tune of thousands and feel very gullible. Make your own choice but personally I would never return and trust them to care about me as a customer. Instead of nearly 5k, I probably could have been fixed and running at 2.5k. Biggest auto repair mistake I have ever experienced. read more

I have an 2002 Audi TT. I took it to these fellas to get an opinion on its performance and get the oil changed a few years ago. These guys made some adjustments on the turbo and it literally drives like a new car. I know, I know you hear that and think" sure, I bet".... no REALLY!! They know I love this old car... I have since taken my mother in laws Mercedes and my wife's Volvo in for things and they care for them like it's their own car. I was just told by a tire store I needed new tires ( 7000 miles on them) because of alignment issues and needed all new tires and wheels because of a corrosion problem inside the aluminum wheels causing slow leaks and I only went in to have a single slow leak repaired. I thought I needed to do all this correctly. I started by taking the care in for an alignment at a different alignment shop and was told I needed more parts and repairs that came to $900. My gosh for just having a slow leak in one tire I ended up " needing" to put in about $3000 worth of parts and service to keep the old car running, I was told... Autosportwerks looked at it yesterday. They said it didnt need any of the work. It drives just fine now that the one tire is repaired. No tire wear, no pulling or vibration. Smooth as always. No charge. I think these guys enjoy this car as much as I do. Well, what do you know... there are honest people out there that really know how to run a business. I was optimistic about bringing my vehicle to this shop after seeing good reviews online. Their website also represents a free 15 minute no wrench inspection. Among other things, I brought my vehicle in due to a crack in it, coolant expansion tank as well as strange knocking noises I was experiencing while driving. Prior to authorizing any work or signing any agreement regarding work, I was told I would be charged $195 as an inspection diagnostic fee. This was not anticipated and not negotiable per the shop. Although this surprise cost was troubling to start, I nevertheless authorized my coolant expansion tank to be replaced as well as replacement of the axle assembly and an oil change, which ended up totaling over $2,000, Other repairs were suggested as possibly needed for the future, But little to no detail was provided about what those repairs would do or not do to the knocking noises being experience. I was then told that one of the technicians had test driven the vehicle and everything seemed good! Understandably, I thought, and I expect any reasonable person in the same position would have thought, that this representation meant that the issues that I brought the vehicle in to have addressed, had been resolved. it was to my dismay after picking up the vehicle that the same noises I have been hearing were very much still present and perhaps worse. The shop refused to acknowledge that this would be covered by their warranty, and only offered a "discount" on the work needed to address the issue. While I was happy with the work done on the issues, I actually authorized, this lack of transparency and misrepresentation was extremely upsetting. It is issues like these make customers wary of non-dealer mechanics, lack of transparency, lack of accountability, all a big issue for me after the experience with this place. To not agree to handle a $400 repair after your represented the vehicle as repaired(when an original issue persisted) is not only shocking, but completely unacceptable and disheartening business practice. Needless to say, I will not be back and will be advising all my friends and family to follow suit. read more

I came here to have the bottom of my intercooler connected. They insisted on doing a full inspection and told me everything was okay. When i asked them why my car had a chop/rough idle they said it normal. After doing more research found out it was my oxygen sensor and it was serious. Was charged 578 dollars to connect something that took them 30 min and clearly the inspection was not even done right never coming back. read more

I had an annoying oil leak which on an Audi can rack up $$$ to diagnose and fix. Also the driver's side wiper was dead...again more $$$ based on previous experience. I had had good luck in the past with Autosport so I took a chance and called. They could work on it today so I bit my lip and drove down from Summit County to get it looked at. Good news was at hand...it was a leaking drain plug! They fixed it and changed the oil. The windshield wiper was ordered, shipped and fixed within a few hours. The second best news of the day was that it didn't break the bank...it was exactly what the estimated. If I could give them neg 5 stars, I would. I told them there was a cylinder 4 misfire code and had changed plugs and coils. Yet they did a leak down test and found vacuum.leaks...then tried to charge me a second diag fee to run a compression test also. They should have done that first. Anyway just felt taken by these people, owner wasn't even there and he is the one who told me 165 for the diag, so im.supposed to pay multiple diag fees? They ended up replacing an 80 dollar hose and charged me like 330 dollars in their time. Pretty ridiculous. I've been in vw audis for 31 yrs been to 7 or 8 shops in 4 states and I've never heard the nonsense they were spewing. Brought In my car after I asked explicitly how much for a diag fee..was told 165. Well they didn't even bother running a compression test when I told them it was a misfire and I had replaced all coils and plugs. They found and fixed air leaks (great but 330 labor to attach an 80.dollar part) Then instead of running a compression tests now they wanted to charge me ANOTHER 165 to keep diagnosing. read more

Cal and his team have been taking care of our vehicles for a while now (2011 BMW and 2012 MINI). They are the only ones I really trust, as they are very careful, and taking care of the customer's car is clearly of utmost importance to them. A bonus is that they are reasonably and competitively priced, *especially* for the level of care and service they provide. Recently, my son had a part warranty issue come up on his BMW. I can't believe after all this time I've never given them my honest thumbs up. This shop is amazing! I've brought my BMW in for everything including oil changes, brakes, part replacements and they have always been so honest, friendly and thorough. Plus they do a great job on repairs and I've never had to go back for anything they've fixed. Recently, I had the fuel injectors fail in my car causing the engine to lock up. I called right before they closed and they stayed open so I could drop my car off. They were honest about the repair and sent me to BMW to get the repair covered under extended warranty when they very well could have done the work themselves and charged me for it and I would have never known. I highly recommend them. They go above and beyond and I appreciate their great attitudes and timely support. I will be customer for life. read more

I've had my BMW serviced here a couple times. I can't tell you if they also do a good job with Audi and Volkswagen, but I can't imagine a well run shop would be drastically different. Previously, all my experience with German cars have been expensive for ridiculously small things. Luckily here... it's not. My airbag light was permanently on, they analyzed it and said the sensor was tripped so they reset it. No problem... NO CHARGE! WHAT!!! That didn't cost $500? I know some service manager at a BMW dealership is shaking his fist and cursing right now. Another time, my front grill plates cracked and popped out because of a low speed bump that happened with my car. I won't say that it was my gf who did that cause she'd be pissed... but uh... well, they mysterious broke. The guys here ordered the 2 "kidney" grills for about $100. They installed them for free (which was nice since there were a lot of cracked parts) and worked for 15-20 minutes to secure them in. Overall, I'm very happy with these guys and I have no problem with recommending them. read more

I went here when I first got my BMW to have it checked out and have a coolant flush. I liked how thorough Cal seemed to be about everything and I thought I had found a regular mechanic for my car but it was short lived. I started having coolant issues again a few months later and having moved across town to a new place with a garage, I just tackled this one myself. Upon draining the radiator and engine block I noticed the coolant coming out was green, not blue. German automaker approved coolant, the kind BMW puts in, is most definitely blue. Murray BMW sells a 5 gallon jug of it for 27$. I was told on the work order that they only use the blue BMW coolant and that is what I was charged for. In all honesty I really wouldn't have cared if he had used the green as long as that's what he told me they put in and that was what I was charged for. The reason for the 1 star is because I was blatantly lied to. Trust is a huge issue with mechanics everywhere and it's a big reason why I have always fixed my own cars. If I can't trust you on something small like this then I sure as hell won't on something major. read more

Brought my vehicle in two separate times. First to check out a transmission fault I was having to to do a good overall look over of the vehicle. They spent many hours with the car. The very knowledgeable shop they claim to be and they did no look over the vehicle mechanically what so ever instead they charged me almost 3 hundred dollars and all I got was a list of codes and a code reset that I could of done myself with my scanner tool at the house. Second to get vehicle check as I wanted the first time as of this time my lights are reappearing after the code reset didn't last any further. I got quoted 90 dollars to check the codes again for 30 minutes of work and they replaced my gas cap for 25 dollars when It didn't need replaced according to the BMW dealer themselves. Very bad taste in my mouth and a scared pocketbook from my experience at this place. DO NOT recommend this shop at all! read more

2010 Audi S4. 53k miles. Brought my car in with the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Knew it was the Mechatronic unit. Was hoping the Mech replacement kit would fix it, however needed a full Mech replacement. Had a great experience with Erik and the boys at AW. I first brought my BMW to Autosport Werks a year ago for my 60k scheduled maintenance. They were friendly and professional without trying to sell me more work than my car needed. Yesterday, I stopped by unannounced because the coolant light came on when I first start up my car. I thought I would stop by and ask what brand and formula of coolant I could purchase. I was greeted by Cal who took the time to fill up my coolant and take a look at a turn signal which works intermittently. He spent about half and hour on my car, filled up the coolant reservoir and tried to find the cause of the turn signal problem. When I tried to pay him for his time he would not accept any payment. I will be a customer for life and highly recommend Autosport Werks. It is so refreshing to find a trustworthy mechanic that actually cares about their clients and will take the time to help their customers even when they show up unexpected. read more
