I woke up and had an appointment to take my motorhome in for service but it wouldn't start. I tried using the jumper cables I use for my car but it still wouldn't start. I was told that I needed something stronger to jump it. I walked in to this AutoZone not really knowing what I was looking for. I described it but I'm not great with terms and use the word thingy a lot. I was directed to a jump box and the right size jumper cables. Since I am looking at getting a bigger motorhome, I did get the big boy version. He was very helpful in assisting me. read more

Called to make sure they had an AC manifold gauge set in stock ... and "Troy" actually gave me excellent help (far better than I'm acclimated to getting in this DIY day where everything has to be incredibly cheap to be competitive). So much so that it engendered a disposition of feeling I owe [this] AutoZone my business whenever possible. Who knows, maybe it was both "Troy" and whomever in HR who hired this gentleman. It's my expectation that an auto parts store employee would have some general automotive knowledge, but my experience today was with an inept gentleman that could only enter what I told him into the computer and didn't offer any help beyond what the computer spat back; GIGO. I usually learn something when I go to NAPA or O'Reilly, but never here. A quick trip back to a competitor and he found the item under a different term (experienced parts guy). The front desk clerk was nice, but the manager was only concerned about me purchasing the most expensive battery for my car which was $250. When I asked what the other options were, he told me that the other option was $200, but they were out of it and I would have to drive to the nearest store. Needless to say when I went to start my car it wouldn't start, a nice gentleman outside offered to jump my car but didn't have cables. I went back inside and the manger told be I could purchase them from the bottom shelf on the front row. Thanks sir, super helpful of you. I'm a single mother in a budget with 2 teenage boys I am raising, there father just died of a heart attack two months ago. I'm limited with funds and help, so thanks again for you help. I hope your wife or daughter is never treated with the lack of kindness you showed me. read more

Pretty much everyone on earth understands what an AutoZone is all about. For the unaware, I will make you one of the informed in just one sentence. AutoZone sells everything you need to clean and maintain your vehicle. I am sure I could stop there and still be considered an elite Yelper, but that would make for a poor review. So here is what sets this AutoZone apart. If you read my reviews regularly you will know my story about purchasing my dream vehicle. One of the things that helped me accomplish that goal was trading in my current vehicle and getting a fair price. That's where this AutoZone came in. I had just washed my truck nearby, but needed window and trim cleaner. This location had numerous different brands including everything from the very reasonable to the super expensive. I got exactly what I needed and headed outside to clean my truck thoroughly. While outside I noticed one of the workers swapping out windshield wiper blades for a somewhat clueless looking customer. Come on! That's one of the easiest things to do. Anyway, I thought it was nice that they were willing to help people out like that. Once I was done my truck was clean, but my hands were filthy. I headed back in and asked: "wheres the restroom". One of the workers pointed towards the back of the store while another said: "just look for the bush". I actually got a chuckle out of that and appreciated his attempt at humor. Since there was no actual bush, I used their restroom which was stocked with hand degreaser and soap which was a nice touch. I had some great memories in my truck and will remember it every time I pass by this store. read more

FAIR WARNING! Do not order anything online from Autozone. Especially the "next day delivery" B.S! This is FRAUDULENT AND FALSE ADVERTISING! 72 hours have gone by and I have not received the product ordered. Customer service also lied to me saying it would be delivered after 48 hrs. and still nothing. I'm no longer an Autozone customer because of this mistreatment and incompetence. Don't say I didn't try to warn you, go to another auto parts business after reading this! read more

This is from July when on a trip to Florida from Texas by battery went out when I stopped for lunch and gas. A nice guy gave me a jump so I could get to AutoZone which was only a two blocks away. The AutoZone staff found me a battery and let me borrow a few tools. I was able to get it all swapped and turn in the core without an issue. This place is very useful. They have great hours (seem to be always open, were open after 6PM on a Sunday) and will run a little machine on your car to see why the light is on for free. They will replace the air filter in your car if you buy one there. They will also put in a battery if you buy one there, which saved my bacon last night. read more

Absolute worst. Parts not in stock. They said to order in store and it will deliver next day. I asked if they would install, and to please confirm. Next day they can't even fond the part. When they finally did locate it, they told me they do not install - seriously, a day late and a dollar short and now they said go to the dealer with the part to get it installed! Wish I could give zero stars. Never again. This place sucks. read more

My dash lights started flickering, and the air condition was having trouble. I pulled in, and a service tech hooked up his testing device. Bad battery. The man then located the correct replacement, brought the new battery to the register, and another tech, before my receipt had even printed, was changing the battery. I thought they only sold auto parts, tools, and air fresheners. I never even touched the new battery. I was just hoping they'd let me borrow a wrench. These ladies and gentlemen are outstanding. read more

Horrible experience. So today I went to auto zone for a steering wheel cover. I picked one out and they told me I could go try it out to see if it fits first before I bought it. So I went out to my car and I couldn't get it on.... thought it was too small. I went inside and they asked me (alll kind of laughing at me) I said I couldn't get it to fit. So I picked out another one and went outside again to see if it would fit. Again, I couldn't get it on my wheel and one of the guys that work there was outside and asked me if it works and I said no I can't get it again. ( thought they would offer to help since they seem stronger than me) he laughed at me and asked if I was high......... I am 23 years old btw. And I don't smoke. It was very unprofessional and rude. I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave and not give them my money. He was an old man and very tall . I really just could not believe he asked me that. Horrible. read more
