Stay FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY from this place and all others if they all have the same prices. I gave 2 stars because the staff was polite and nice to work with. I understand they don't control pricing. If management reads this, staff was awesome! I choose to take my vehicles to Automotive Services of Savannah for two main reasons. The first reason is that the service I receive there is not only exemplary, but it is fast and reasonably priced. There is clear communication throughout the entire service period and the repairs are done by extremely qualified folks who are not only skilled but honest. This brings me to the second reason why I choose to take my vehicles to this location. Lynn and the people at her shop are not only reliable, dependable, and honest, but they operate their business with integrity and human decency. Throughout this most recent bout of engine trouble, Lynn took the time to not only understand and accommodate my personal situation, but she went out of her way to provide helpful advice and many times - out of the kindness of her heart - just provided a listening ear. She and her team have gone above and beyond any reasonable expectation of customer service, even allowing me to store my van at their shop at no charge for over a month while I battled with my insurance provider. I think it comes down to this: Car trouble can happen at any time - regardless of other things that may be happening in tandem in your personal life. It doesn't stop just because you have a family emergency or other "life stuff." Because of this, it's important to have folks working on your vehicles that will not only repair them, but treat you with dignity and decency and understand the stress you may be going through. Nobody wants to be dealing with engine trouble. I asked for a breakdown of the pricing and when I came to pick up vehicle it was almost 2x the amount I was quoted. Upon my complaining and reminding them that they never mention a $250 charge just to look at the car my bill came down from over $750 to $669. I would do your research and price check before using this business. I have no doubt they took advantage of me from being out of state and not being able to take my car somewhere else without paying for another towing fee.
