Quite stunned by the poor reveiews here. I just got a new (to me) ride, and while it has been well taken care of over the years, it has a few bugaboos here and there to be expected with a 10 year old vehicle. First up was my license plate lighting. I had been pulled over for it the night before, and I ain't trying to accrue tickets. Hell naw, to the naw naw naw. Resolved to take care of it the next day. I thought I'd done my due diligence online finding the correct bulb, but the one I'd settled on wasn't in stock. The associates helped me find a suitable alternate, and got me on the road with my newly lit plate just before sunset, all of it taking around 20 minutes from the time I walked in. The next time was just a couple days ago, when my tail light went out. De Renne Auto Zone to the rescue again! I just so happened to already have the replacement bulb, but there was something funky happeneing with the wiring. Duwan assisted me in getting it together, but unfortunately, after we got it installed, my car wouldn't crank! With 1 minute until store closing, he and another silver haired gentleman got me jumped an on my way. Guess I'll be back to this location when I have to replace this battery. Only the finest, top quality products from this store! I don't know what I would do without auto zone's finest at this location!!! My sincerest gratitude for providing the upmost reliable parts. I don't know what I would do with a the free time I could have if it were not for wasting countless hours changing the exact same part over and over again. Special thanks to this auto zone for giving me something to waste my weekends away with and a unique struggle to endure during the busy work week. I can't think of anything else I could be doing with the little and precious time I get off of work if I couldn't be sitting here and keep changing this window motor! ...so much fun!! It is truly a shame that I cannot give zero stars so poor unsuspecting customers can only have a nowhere but up experience when walking through your doors with no expectation for satisfaction. I just went to the store at 30 W. Derenne Ave in Savannah Ga.I had the most horrible experience of my life. There was a sales manager that was so rude, I left without even getting any help. He was arguing with all of the customers,the couple in front of me were trying to ask him questions. The more questions they asked, the nastier he got.The gentlemen was telling the manager that he was not trying to start a fight with him,and the manager told him that he(the customer)was the only one that with a problem. The customers wife was telling her husband to calm down as he was getting angry. I stated that I COULD NOT believe that he could be a manager and left as I refused to ask that man for anything. I was there to buy a new battery for my car along with a pair of jumper cables. So I easily was going to spend more than $150. The manager and other associate that was helping take care of customers(he was also VERY rude)totally ignored me as I stood in the line that was que'd off as a "parts" and "testing".The associate helped the next person that was in the line for the cashier and left me standing there. No one offered to help me, the two men actually refused to look at me.Several associates walked by while this was going on, and no one acknowledged me at all. Finally the customers in the other line started to ask me if I was in line because I had been standing there so long. I then asked the two associates up front if there was anyone working the "parts" line. They ignored me 3 times before the sales manager finally looked at me and YELLED "Yah, over here". That is when someone let me cut them in line since I had been there so long. That is when I heard him arguing with the couple in front of me.I then looked at his name tag and was blown away when I saw that he was a manager.When I saw that,I left without purchasing anything.I was absolutely LIVID with the way he was treated customers. I called and asked for his name ,the person said his name was Harry.He refused to give me his last name. HORRIBLE customer service, and from a manager. Will NEVER go back there. I will visit Advanced Auto Parts and they can have my money. read more
