Total cost $ 2800.00. The car is a 2013 but with only 50K miles. It has been a great car. Well, the car was fixed, it took 2 visits because they had to other some of the parts. As soon as we picked the car we noticed that brake were making a noise that was there before, and a couple of days after the lights went off again. Took the car back to KIA and they said that pads they put were deflective and also the new sensors. ‍. They said they will replace everything without cost, which is kind of obvious. They will order the parts, that normally take couple of days, but 2 week have passed and no call from them. We have left 2 voice messages and no response. That's bad service, when you make a mistake like this, you need to give priority to get it fixed. I'm upset already that we have to spent extra time taking the car to them several times. Jeramy was the sale consultant and he was fantastic. From the communication to the final purchasing Jeramy and staff was top notch. When I left the dealership with the transit connect the transmission was giving me a lot of problems. I called Jeramy immediate and he asked me to bring the truck back the same morning. They reviewed the issues with a local Ford dealership and had the transmission rebuilt with a new torque convertor at no charge which was around 5K. I purchase a lot of vans and cars over the years, and I have to say this dealership is top notch with customer service and honestly which is very hard to find in a dealership and sales consultant today. Further details: Admittedly, I initially opted for this location due to the unmatched coupon available within a reasonable amount of distance from me for a full synthetic oil change with tire rotation. When I called to confirm I spoke with the shop owner, Dave, who was both very helpful and accommodating. He was even able to fit me in the same morning. I got there and recognized the waiting space, as well as the bathrooms, was clean and well maintained. Then Dave came in to introduce himself, and he was equally as customer oriented and friendly as on the phone as well as trying to be as efficient as possible as well as pointing out to me where I can find water if I needed some. Additionally, I couldn't help but overhear a stressful situation another customer was having (that was no fault to the shop at all) but they were having a difficult time understanding how to fix the problem and seemingly insisting that it was a "group situation" for the shop- but surely he was very patient and mild as well as helpful as he could be in the situation. That kind of customer service speaks volumes to me- I'm very customer service oriented and really trust and appreciate that kind of unteachable quality in character. With oil changes, especially if/when using a coupon or something alike, I typically anticipate some hidden fees and/or a lot of pressure from shops to shake more money out of me. THEN the person replacing took a look at my paperwork and said that they were not sure the replacement would work with the glass that they had ordered and that they would need to order it from the dealer. So they sucked 2+ hours of my life just to look at it and say they would not be able to fix it. There was no notice that they were running 2 hours behind and their excuse was they had multiple 10 AM appointments. Isn't that the whole point of making an appointment?

Came to get an oil change done and didn't realize until I went to go get another oil change done at…read morea different location where I found out that whatever idiot that worked on my oil change, put the shield plate back on with a power tool, which inevitably stripped my screw. So when I went to go get the second oil change, they were unable to take the screw and shield off. I brought it back to the mechanic to get them to take the plate off and they told me they didn't have time to do my oil change that I can come back at a later day. I went to get my oil changed at Valvoline and they wouldn't put my shield back on. So I went to the mechanic on Long Ridge Road and inform them that I needed my shield put back on and they refused to help me because they said this wasn't their problem even though the initial problem started with them. I spoke with the owner/manager personally and he refused to assist. Homie has no compassion or empathy and basically didn't give any fuck about helping anybody but himself.

Cmmunications in progress. ------ 1st Advanced couldn't tell us specifically which alternator we needed for our van so we bought two to the tune of $1300+ (with intention of returning unused one) and went to a garage we found in the area (we were on a road trip starting our vacation, so didn't know anyone in area). The garage took us in and did the repair. We were so thankful to be on the road that we paid him cash and headed out. Unfortunately lost the receipt. Wasn't really planning on needing it. Lesson learned! Initial breakdown did not have to do with Advanced Auto Part. And we made an assumption that the part(s) we purchased would be good. for the price...maybe should be lined with a little gold? 2nd on the way home. SAME PROBLEM. This did have to do with Advanced Auto part. Alternator was bad! so now we're in NJ and have to find some help. We eventually did find a repair shop that could help us, but not until the next morning so we were stuck overnight. Not their fault, i put this blame on faulty part as well. So the alternator that we purchased from Advanced was no good. Shop replaced it with a NAPA (where they get their parts) and the cost of the alternator was 1/2 of what we paid at Advanced, although the labor was double what we paid the first time. This garage told us that NAPA will stand by their product and if something like this happens they will reimburse for additional labor as a result of THEIR BAD PART. So I called Advanced to see if they'll do the same. if the part they sold us was good we never would have been delayed getting home and having to pay even MORE labor to reinstall another alternator not to mention the towing fees to get the van to this garage. They did refund me for both the alternators that i purchased. the bad one and the additional one i had to purchase. now i'm tyring to get assistance with the added labor we had to dish out.
