As a first time customer I was reliant on the advice of my insurer to lead me into the trusting hands of the seldom found honest auto repair specialist. Well, I finally found one: Lobalbo Brothers in Stamford. I walked in with a humble vehicle that needed a little attention and walked out with a million dollar roadster (or at least I think so) at no extra cost to me. These gentlemen went out of their way numerous times, during the one week stay that my car was in their care, to assure that I would be wowed. And I was!!! I asked for absolutely nothing and they gave me everything!! Lobalbo Brothers deserve your attention and your car deserves theirs. I am extremely happy for their thoughtful and kind services and for their generosity towards my car. This company is a family-owned treasure trove and we have got to support them so they never go away. And please know that I left this review because I wanted to and not because anyone asked or paid me to. It was after 8PM when we walked in and Anthony was not only extremely knowledgeable, he confirmed our suspicions of the new battery. Nearly 45 minutes later, my car battery was secure though Anthony advised I visit a mechanic as soon as possible--which compared to the other store, was drastically different advice. TL;DR: cannot recommend Advance Auto Parts on the east side of Stamford enough. Anthony and his team are not only more helpful than their competitors but took the time to explain what additional services I needed, without the upsell.

When Dominic found out about it, he called Ford Credit and told them to get it right. They did, and Dominic called me back and made the deal happen! Since then, Ive been bringing my Escape to them for service. They are reliable, friendly, and HONEST. Scott Ferrara in service is THE BEST! I noticed a number of reviews with regards to lack of communication while vehicle is in service, especially having a person answer the phone. This appears to have started since Covid. I'm guessing that it is because it seems harder to get good help these days. This is not unique to any dealership or brand. In fact, I have another brand of car that I bring to another dealership. By comparison, this other dealer does not deserve to clean the floors at Stamford Ford. The service advisors at Stamford Ford provide you with a cell phone # you can text if you need to, which is a lot easier than getting though via phone. Again shout out to Scott in Service!!

This is a buyer beware message and resembles the shady practices of car dealers back in the 80's…read more Stamford Ford advertised a Ford Raptor as a CPO vehicle with a warranty . I reached out to purchase the truck and worked with Barry Pasqualini-Senior Sales Consultant on the purchase. I confirmed with Barry that there was a 1-year bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle, and also confirmed in writing the same. I offered to pay the full advertised price of $49k, signed a PO, paid a $2k deposit, and had my bank send them a check for the balance via fedex. Several days later I received an email (not even a call) from Barry saying that they are unable to provide the warranty they agreed to on the vehicle but if I was interested i could buy an extended warranty. You agreed to a price and terms, received payment, then tried to change the deal?? Again, this is an old tactic that shady dealers did back in the day, but really a large Ford dealer in Stamford CT? There are many thoughts in my mind but the two unfortunately that seem to fit in this scenario is that Barry found another buyer to pay more than the advertised price or they are just trying con me into buying a warranty. Or any other unresponsible action rather than simply selling a vehicle as advertised and being accountable for your commitments. This is disappointing because it speaks to the culture of the dealership if this is acceptable and you would think that a decision like this would of been reviewed by management which lends itself to being a culture issue which is unacceptable. I had to pay for a stop payment on a $55k check, lose $150 processing fee to my bank, and still have not received my $2k deposit back from the dealer so had to reach out and file a claim with my credit card company. I would hope in todays day in age and with the cost of vehicles that dealers would hold themselves to a higher standard but clearly if Stamford Ford is not. There are plenty of dealers out there, ones that are trustworthy, honest, and stand by what they offer. Do better Stamford Ford
