I'm getting a new battery installed , free installation . Free battery checks & they also will check computer codes that " pop up" to see what the issue problem maybe . If you went to a shop" they might charge you for code checks or battery. Installation . I will forever avoid this AutoZone. I came in here once to just get Freon for my AC. My car is RHD, imported from Japan and has some quirks to it. When I came in, I was the only girl in the store and as I came in they immediately started talking to me like I was dumb. They claimed to know more about my car, even though I knew exactly what I needed. They claimed that I was wrong, even making me show them the car, just for them to be proven wrong. They laughed in my face and called my car "weird." Honestly just wasn't up for it at all. Super disrespectful. read more

I thought this was really just a place to get auto parts but that going in you would have to know what you needed. Well I knew I needed a battery but that's about it. I came in with a somewhat emergency since the battery kept dying. Michael the manager was exceptional in his service. When I was on my way and called beforehand I was also greeted with exceptional service. So yes they have auto parts but they also have customer service which I don't usually associate with auto parts or repairs. Will definitely keep this place in mind for any auto needs. read more

Not only do they have the best, most friendly employees but Marcos at the Craycroft/Speedway location is the absolute cherry on the top of their sundae! Marcos saved me hours of tears and frustration simply by learning that my 90 yr old father had let his battery die in his vehicle and there was no way I could drive the car over and have Autozone replace the battery. I'm an old lady! I didn't know how I was going to pull out the old battery and replace it with the new one! Marcos to the rescue!!! My wife had been complaining that our lights on our 2005 vehicle were not bright enough. I googled dim lights and called several places in Tucson without much help: then I called Autozone and talked with Marcos, who happened to be the manager of this store. He was more than helpful on the phone and finally invited me to come on down and he would take a look and give advice. Two days later I took the car in and as luck would have it Marcos was the gentleman who helped me. He could have easily sold me the highest end lights but told me what he used on his vehicle and honestly only a few minutes with this gentleman instilled trust and I went with his suggestion. Then I said, "How can I get these new bulbs installed?" He said without a flinch, "I'll do it for you." And he did! The charge 'A smile and a Thank You' If the world was populated with people like this gentleman, we would not have to mask but would rather have some of his aura rub off on each of us. Not only that, while I was at the store Marcos manages, I noted at least two other employees helping customers in a manner that was above and beyond an ordinary Auto Parts Store. Any Auto issues in the future while we are in Tucson this Autozone establishment is the only place we will go. I have a motto: Nothing is ever as simple as it's supposed to be. So when my truck battery died I dreaded replacing it. I never have the right tools, I get grease under my fingernails and the chance for injury is pretty good considering my mechanical aptitude, or lack thereof. I managed to get it started and drove to Autozone as I knew they tested batteries for free. Sure enough, my battery had gone to battery heaven. I knew I had bought it here. They guy looks in the computer and tells me it's past the free replacement period, but I still have about twenty bucks of prorated warranty. No way I am refusing that. I purchase a battery and ask the guy if he can give me a jump. He says, "Let me finish up with another customer and I will just put it in for you." Wow! I don't have to even get dirty! Fifteen minutes later I am, again, a menace on the road. I never would have imagined giving a place like this five stars. Great customer service, however, will always win me over. read more

Not sure about all the good reviews because my experience wasn't up to par. Wanted to just replace my brake light. Employee gave me the bulb to purchase (didn't ask if I needed help with it ). I asked if someone can install it for me (my car part knowledge and installation is minimum) , but I felt like it was an inconvenience for them to do this . The guy struggled to install the bulb ( I commend his effort ) but seems there was a connector problem so he wasn't sure if it was secure . Didn't problem solve to let me know how I can secure it and didn't even check to see if the brake light was actually working. Maybe I should have initiated more but after 2 weeks I had to get the brake light checked again and it looks like it may not have been the right bulb in the first place. read more

Auto Zone is always the first place I go for any simple car needs. I buy my car battery there always because they have me in the system, and take care of me immediately. Today was a first - I got pulled over because my license plate light had burned out. When I got there, Alfredo came out and assessed how to access these lights, which turned out to be complicated. At least 8 screws had to be removed, and then he had to work around the emergency trunk exit lever. He managed to get everything apart, find which lights I needed, install them, and put everything back together. I'm so grateful. Auto Zone people always go above and beyond! read more

These people are idiots. Twice I've called and asked if they had a part. Both times I was assured that they carried the item, only to show up and find out they didn't sell it. The last time they told me it was illegal to sell or own a Slim Jim in Arizona, so I went down the street to Checker and bought two. Also looked up Arizona law and it states you can't sell them to someone with the intention to commit burglary. Simple disclaimer allows sale. read more

I have visited this location due to it is a walk away from home. I've had some helpful people here before but there common items are way overpriced when you can get them at walmart and have no issues getting a refund or store credit if you don't have a receipt. I don't like that when you change a phone# and that is the only way to enter info into there system for purchases, you cannot get the credit for multiple purchases. I just returned an item with the receipt and tag last night that was only about $5 and because of the way they treated me, I will not visit this place again. They looked over the part and said something (a plastic piece) was missing from over it and they couldn't resell it with out this on it. I said it had to come off and I had to break it to remove it for use which was just a cover for it. It wasn't necessary for use and wasn't removed easily. I didn't need this part due to it is a piece to put over a socket for taking off lifters for a hatchback trunk. I bought the lifters but one had broken off of the car mount so that is what needs replacing. I had to try and use the tool to get one off to find it wasn't what I really needed. They said they don't typically take back parts after one use or it being used. I had the frikin' receipt and upc tag! It's not like I purchased a dress for a fancy outing and wore it once just to return it! I didn't need this part but didn't know until I used it and it isn't my fault they sell such crappy parts that show wear after one use! It was even called duralast. They made me feel like a bum and I don't get any hassle from Walmart like this. They just lost a customer! I don't care if they returned my money. Cusomer service is the most important part of any business! These guys working there last night were losers! read more
