They use good parts and, my favorite thing about them is that they don't try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff. They will let you know if they find other things that need attention and give you a good honest opinion on the urgency of a repair. They are easy to miss since you can't really tell that its a garage from the front. Not good as we had long drive ahead of us and irritating as the call center told us they were not busy. But, it needed to get fixed and so we left the car with Adrian. I called a couple of hours after leaving the car to get an update (if there was any) and was told the car would be ready in 30-40 minutes. Fantastic! We headed out and as I arrived Adrian cheerfully greeted me, handing me the keys. I asked him how much I owed him and he said "Nothing." I thought that odd and given our urgency to get going I was very appreciative. I confirmed that he said "nothing" and I said that was very kind of him/them and asked if I could at leave them a tip. He said "sure" and so I tipped them $20. ********** UPDATE ************ Apparently my mother either didn't know or forgot that she had damaged the car previously. My sister reminded her of this fact and so I was alerted. And so I owe the company a huge apology. They came through for us in a pinch and I am very grateful. I was told they had my phone number and that I could just come in. I told the guy that it wont be me but my driver will be there with the car and the gentleman said that is fine just provide my phone number and they will pull up the account. But when my driver arrived, they claimed they had nothing under my name. Then they said my phone number pulled up someone else entirely. After that, they gave her a hard time and initially said they could not help her that day because there was supposedly no appointment. Then the story changed. They said they could help, but it would cost more money and they would need the car for the day. After more back and forth, they suddenly offered a $25 coupon and brought the price to $108, which is the original quote they gave me. That kind of inconsistency is exactly why this experience felt unprofessional and poorly managed. What made it worse was being told that all 4 tires were bad, when the actual issue is with the front tires, which have been rubbing and wearing on the sides. Saying all four were bad without clearly explaining each tire separately felt misleading and raised serious concerns about whether they were trying to upsell unnecessary work. The biggest problem here was not just the alignment issue -- it was the lack of organization, the conflicting information, and the way my driver was treated when she got there. If you take appointments by phone, keep accurate records. If there is a tire safety concern, explain it clearly and honestly instead of changing the story multiple times. Very disappointing experience. I expected better communication, better customer service, and more professionalism. Update: Later that same day, I took my car to BrakeMax. They completed the alignment and rotated the tires for the same price. They also advised me that only the 2 front tires needed replacement soon, not all 4. That matched the actual condition of the car much better and gave me more confidence in their honesty and professionalism. Based on that second opinion, I chose to move forward with BrakeMax. My experience with Big Brand Tire & Service is why I recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to major tire or suspension work. And I did file a complain at bbb. Hope the owner sees this. I was…read morenewish to Tucson and took in my Jeep Liberty for a rattling noise in the front suspension and they told me I needed a new rack and pinion, quoted nearly $2400. As they said it was a safety issue I said ok just so I could get the vehicle back on the road in a couple days. I also asked them to replace the aftermarket lug nuts for OEM and they told me they had to special order them from Phoenix, but since the car would be there a couple days it wasn't an issue. After getting an uber home, I hopped in my truck and I went across the street to Brake Masters and spoke to Oscar who had done work on my other vehicles previously and told them what was happening and he said to bring the jeep over so he could give a second opinion. From across the street, not more than 40 minutes after leaving Brake Max, I called Brake Max and told them that I did not want to get the work done on the rack and pinion and the person said they had already started pulling the front end apart and they'd have to charge me for 1 hour labor. I said that's rediculous since it had only been about 30 min since I left the shop and they said the rack and pinion wouldn't be delivered for 2 days anyway. They also told me that the lug nuts which were supposed to be delivered from Pheonix were in stock and they could put them on so I agreed. Fast forward to me walking across the street to pick up my jeep and pay nearly $300 for lug nuts and an hour labor. I drive back over to Brake Masters and they find the the rack and pinion has very minor, minor leak and doesn't need to be replaced. The lug nuts that Brake Max put on were not only wrong for that Jeep, but they were barely holding the tires on due to being the wrong size and the rattling I heard in the suspension was from the sway bar end links, a quick $250 repair with parts and labor. I'm still driving the jeep with the same rack and pinion that supposedly needed to be replaced over 1 year later and it still the the most minute leak and hasn't had any issues. Now to today, the place is supposed to be under new management, but I had to take a Hertz car rental there twice in the last week and the first time they replaced a motor mount, but the car is still having a rough idle. They replaced the two front tires due to nail damage and wear. So, I went back today with the same rental, this time with a nail in the rear passenger tire and the shop manager tells me that the rear brakes are bad, battery is bad, serpentine belt needs to be replaced, alternator is bad and the water pump is going out. And here's the kicker, he tells me that there are only 4 lug nuts on each wheel. I immediately told him that I was in the shop last week and they removed all 4 tires for rotation and installation of two new ones as well as worked on the motor mount, changed the oil, topped off fluids, etc. I was furious as I told him that he and his shop had me driving for a full week with 4 missing lug nuts since they were the last ones to remove and install tires. Also, just as angrily told him that in the span on 1 week, the water pump, serpentine belt, battery and alternator all started to fail. This place is a joke, absolutely trying to rip off customers and upsell anything they can. This is a rental car and none of these repairs come out of my pocket, but the dishonesty at this location is sickening. In the last month I have been in that shopp 3 times with Hertz rentals and the service, repair estimates they've given other customers and overall professionalism in there is so lacking this place shouldn't even be in business anymore. And, on two of those occasions the regional manager was there, and he was just as bad as the shop manager when it came to professionalism and service writing/upselling. Avoid this place at all costs if you don't want them to overcharge you for repairs that they are going to screw up and then try to charge you for their own mistakes.
