HONESTLY what is going on here?
Eagerly came to make a…read moresignificant purchase (a very nice generator $1,100 to be exact, we had seen and fell in love with at Tulare World Ag Show few days prior) and apon arriving we found thee entire building was on lockdown???
We had called to verify hours of operation earlier in the AM, the woman assured us they were open till 5pm, it was barely 245pm and all doors: service, parts, sales where all locked, no1 to be found anywhere, what could we do? We had traveled over 40min to make this purchase, waited locked out for 10min and we would still have to return 40+ min roundtrip, no way we can leave without our generator.
We called and called and finally after the 3rd call, a woman answered. She said they where open and she would be out to unlock the sales dept doors shortly, we waited and sure enough, the doors swung open, we where in buisness. When we asked what was going on, she exclaimed: cooperate emergency meeting, no apology, it was none of our buisness apparently. She pointed to service counter as she waddled away and said, sum1 will be with you guys. Ok?
5 additional minutes passed and 2 gentlemen finally approach the counter. 1 asks what we needed today, we replied: a generator as we excitedly motioned to their floor models. The service man was pleasant and said oh those are popular, and he assured us they had them in stock.
We asked if there would be a DISCOUNT since we had been sooooooooo patient, almost 1hr, we deserved something, right? Tshirts, a hat, an apology maybe?
WRONG! Service gentleman said he could not help us out, we immidietly asked for a manager, he was summoned.
Manager V.Anton-e-yo was not in good spirits
Looking back, V.Anton-e-yo could've been getting reprimanded during the time the buisness was closed to the public, possibly for being on his power-trip, stale attitude, oldtime "fight me if you dare glare" OR un-empathetic overall. How did Manager V.Anton-e-yo get into such a vital position? Clearly was not for a positive winning spirit OR drive to ensure that paying customers should be taken care of, certainly did not have a customers always right persona, possibly his lack of friendly nature played a part?! Manager Virgil.A sincerely lacked compassion, customer service skills and probably should enjoy a bit more "humble pie". Grrrrrrrr..
We where shocked at Manager Virgil.A's negative attitude and "my way of the highway" persona?! If this is how he treats paying customers, WE are 110% certain his staff and the buisness personnel are even MORE FED UP with him alas they are all probably afraid and cannot say anything.
Excellent product, POOREST possible People Skills imaginable from manager.
