After calling B & H Parts company numerous times, they continue to be disrespectful and impolite…read more The purpose of my calls was to talk to Tom Goodie the manager of B&H, who is rarely in the yard about the 1982 Checker sitting in the lot. Associates continue to talk about selling it whole for $1500 to $1800 or crushing it. Then hang up after I explain that I am looking for ways to save this car. Guess if you don't play by their rules, they leave. Evidently, my encounters are similar to others who have dealt with them considering the comments left on various sites. I guess they are still in business because people are willing to pay such prices or know someone. While talking to a body shop person who wanted to buy a truck door, B&H wanted $400 - which listed else where for $300. When the person explained how only sheet metal was needed not all the extras, the sales person wouldn't budge. A friend acquired it later for $50. Interesting enough, there are other Checkers out there for less money and better condition. My concern is that we lose another vehicle that could be used by someone for his or her car. This is more important then scrape metal. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to save this piece of history for the future. My home is about 15 minutes away from their junkyard. I am willing to work in any capacity that I am capable in doing to save it. They said they had parts for the car I was looking for, but I had to drop by the junkyard to see what parts I could pull from the car. I drove up to them in North East, MD from Catonsville, MD. Used $20 in gas and $12 in tolls. When I got there I could not go on the lot to look at the car. The employee looked at the computer as I gave him the list of parts I needed and told me he didn't not have any of the parts I needed. This could have all been done over the phone when I called three days before. Thanks for wasting three hours of my time and $32. I will not put them in my list of salvage yards to call ever again. The only good thing that happened is that the salvage yard across the street (Albright's Salvage) gave me a website to search for parts. Again, don't waste you time with Mars Used Auto Parts, they need to be taught better customer service skills.

He had to order them and was told to come back at 1pm they would be delivered to the store. Somehow, the order was mixed up and my delivery wasn't there until 4:30pm. John made it " right" for me. He and Danai both apologized saying they have never had a mix up in delivery times before. They had a tv and coffee machine so I sat watched two movies and waited. Once the tires were delivered, John had a technician put them in right away. I walked out of the store at 5:30pm, 4 hours later, but understood that " things happen" and it was ok. They took me in soon as I got there which is awesome! Overall the service took 30 minutes. I didn't have my store credit card which I let them know in advance and they help me out anyway. Tarantula problem getting my card information from another store so they took time to troubleshoot it and made it worse. They're lifesavers for that! Bunny lol cash so this really helped me out. I highly recommend this in any other fire stone or isolated brand, the cause of the aforementioned price. Great service and value makes it easy to recommend this place!
