Called there this morning, John answered the phone. I asked if they had a wheel hub assembly in stock for my truck before I started the process of replacing it. I was thinking I had a wheel bearing going out causing my brake & ABS lights to come on when I applied the brake hard or when I drove over a bump. I told him that I cleaned the ABS sensors the week before which did stop the ABS light from coming on but didn't stop the brake light from coming on. He asked me if I checked the brake fluid, that if it's low that could cause the brake light to come on like that. I never notice any leaking of any fluids so I didn't think about checking the brake fluid. So I check the fluid and it was at the minimum fill level, I filled it to the maximum level and then took it for a test drive. Well I'll be, it fixed it! Driving north on Hwy 61 my car set off a check battery light. Within the time it took to get to the Troy, MO exit, every light on the instrument panel was lighting up. I was quite fortunate that the AutoZone was just off the highway and I managed to make it to the parking lot as the car was trying to die. Tom took the time to come outside, check the battery which was completely shot. He then proceeds to find a new battery and install it right there on the spot. Such a nice guy. Beyond expectation customer service. Tom also gave some recommendations for a lunch location as I was not completely familiar with the Troy area. Could not have been a better experience. Thank you Tom for taking the time, and the extra effort to get me back on the road. Mustang Sally's also worked out nicely. I sincerely appreciate it. read more

Hey big shot out to the Troy, Mo. Autozone. Bill is my hero, thank you so much Bill. I tried and tried to get my license plates off of the rear of my car I just wasn't strong enough. I rode around with one legal plate on the front and with one illegal plate on the rear of my car. Stopped by auto zone and asked Bill for some help, he went out to my car to access the issue. the first tool did not accomplish the job. He had to go back inside and get a different tool and he tried again. And then finally be got the old plate off. That screw had rusted causing quite a work out.
