My next service due I visited Poage and when it came to pay they said no charge, they even explained that the other dealer charged not only me but billed GMC for the freebee as well. Lesson learned, I now know who to use for service, and who not too. They gave me a short notice appointment, respected my time and my money. I was in and out, then to top it off the follow up letter from the manager was a nice personal touch. Poage is my new dealer!

While having my Tahoe literally all day, from 6am to at least 3pm with zero communications I finally called them to be told "I don't know" when asked the status of my vehicle. Furthermore, Tom said he hadn't received the analysis report from the mechanic. Well maybe Tom, you should have at least taken the time to contact them for you paying costumer, but instead he said "I DON'T KNOW" WTF?! We rely on having two vehicles!!! It wasn't until the following late morning Tom called me and again seemed soooo disgruntled and miserable. Like he absolutely hates his job! Or maybe talking to costumers! Either way they did NOT do the work, we took our vehicle elsewhere. As we will plan on doing in the future. Tom, you need to probably find a different job with zero interaction with people.

This has been, without question, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. I have owned 3…read moreToyota FJ60 Landcruisers in my life and NEVER had I ever had to deal with such nonsense and incompetence from private owners regarding past purchases of these trucks as I did with these guys. The owner had zero idea what he was dealing with when he purchased this truck at auction thinking he could flip it for top dollar. I spent over ONE YEAR trying to purchase a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser from this dealership. For more than twelve months, I was repeatedly told the truck would be ready "next week." I flew to St. Louis on two seperate occasions spending over $1600 in flights, driving and hotels only to arrive and on the first visit to find out the truck wouldn't even start. Total waste of time. Still I stuck in there as the manager told me the truck was ready to "rock and roll". It did NOT rock and roll - not for a second...after waiting all that time, I finally drove it only to discover it was nowhere close to being ready for sale. The truck has major mechanical and functional issues, including a non-working speedometer and odometer, high idle, (2000 rpm!) repeated stalling during my test drive on major roads, a non-functioning choke cable, no spare tire, faulty door locks, a rear hatch that doesn't reliably latch, and numerous other issues that are completely inconsistent and frankly way out of line with a $25,000 asking price. Who does this owner think he is??? The truck is represented as having approximately 93,000 miles, yet the odometer doesn't function, making that figure impossible for me to verify. That raises very very serious questions that any buyer should investigate carefully and that the proper authorities now know. Throughout this process I received conflicting information from different employees, repeated broken promises, surprise fees, and a complete lack of accountability. After waiting more than a year, I was presented with a $550 service fee and told I would have to pay additional money to repair other outstanding issues - I was also told I would have to pay $250 to repair a fuel door latch that affects the security of the fuel tank. Instead of acknowledging my concern, I was told that fuel tampering would only be an issue "if you live in a bad neighborhood." That was an inappropriate and dismissive response to a legitimate safety concern. Are you kidding me? Despite all of these problems, I still made a fair As-Is offer, accepting the truck exactly as it sat and assuming responsibility for all future repairs. The response? I was simply told the dealership could not sell the truck at this time. After investing more than a year of my time, that response made absolutely no sense. Based on my experience, there are enough inconsistencies surrounding this transaction that I believe it deserves to be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau. Prospective buyers should independently verify every representation made about any vehicle before signing anything. The only reason this review receives one star instead of none is because there was one employee whom I felt was honest and trustworthy throughout this ordeal. Without that individual, this would have been a zero-star experience if Yelp allowed it. Buyer beware.
