Brian (Bryan?) at this location was an absolute joy. He helped me swap out my battery on my Jeep & that battery was stuck stuck, like me on the couch after Thanksgiving stuck. He put in WORK, & got that sucker out. It took time & patience. I would have never been able to do it on my own. His customer service was out of this world. Yes rye reck-o-mend! LOL!!! Any way wanted a part but nobody had it do i came here. (No not really cumin) but could have once i found the part. The part i needed was on the shelf hanging in a cardboard & clear plastic cover that almost required another tool just to open it! Anyway ummm oh yea i found the part actually the guy working found it for me. So me and the voices in my head made the decision to purchase it. Ok actually 8 voices said to purchase one said to just take and run out and the 10th voice just hummed. So i decided to pay for it. I think the guy behind the counter was physic because he laughed when the one voice said to just run out! So i ended up not needing the part but the good news is you can save up to 15% by switching to Geico. Ok I'm cold because I'm in a hot room and this is what happens when, I forgot what i was mumbling about. Avoid this place! Some of the counter persons are idiots! Went in to have our key fob battery replaced and the worker lost our car key. They looked all over the counter area but no key. Luckily we had a spare key in the car. Later they called to say they found it in the parking lot but it wasn't where we originally parked our car! Avoid these idiots!! read more

HORRIBLE experience! It's raining and noticed my wiper flapping on my Maserati GT. I walk in and nobody is around. I wait and wait and still no one. I walk around and find a young guy working in the aisle. I asked him if he could install but he says " no because I would have to leave the store and nobody would be in here" Listen here!! Geez these guys really have no customer service when I came in yesterday. I was happy they had my parts but the asian guy was not happy to reach something for me I couldn't reach in the aisle. And then I get help from no one for the heavy rotors I bought when there was 3 employees walking around. The only helpful person I got was several months ago and he was a caucasian guy(don't remember name) but at least he was helpful and offered some insight on my car. This is located catty corner from Walgreens. It is very small inside. Much smaller than other AZ I have been in. I am not a car enthusiast and I only come here once a year to get my windshield wipers because I like their brand. I was not greeted when I walked in nor was I helped. I usually at least get a greetings at others and they are super helpful. Not the case here so you better know what to get. There were at least three employees on duty and not very busy inside. I even took my time just to see if anyone would approach me but no. The gal ringing up was nice enough though and took my coupon that I printed online. Tried to start the SUV and the battery was dead, dead. Couldn't get my battery charger to charge it. Drove in my other car to Auto Zone in west sacramento, where the staff is always friendly and helpful. I was not disappointed. Allie helped me but the charger I wanted wasn't on the shelf. When he suggested other places to look, I told him that i was reluctant to go anywhere else because I didn't trust the staff elsewhere. So he looked in the back stock area and found the charger which I wanted! After I took the charger home, I found that the battery itself wasn't good - great charger to give out error notices. Had my son remove that battery and put it into the trunk of the other car. I drove back to Auto Zone. This time Melissa checked out the battery for me and found the same error message. She carted the old battery back into the store. Allie found the correct battery and hooked it up to their charger and topped off the charge - for no additional charge. I have a free three year warranty on the new battery - the last battery came from the Toyato dealer and just barely lasted two years. Auto Zone staff always goes above and beyond to help customers!!! read more

Went in to autozone to check my truck battery, purchased there 1 year ago, Exchanged it on warranty, guy did not know how to get battery off. First off, he refused to help me, then a gentleman said, " go ahead yea help her", could not get it off. Other male workers there were rude, ignored customers or said " yea what do you want?", very unprofessional! I bought battery went to OReilly, they put it in for me and I took old battery to autozone got my money back! They were Rude then as well!!! I will Never go to a Autozone ever again !!!! read more

I was so impressed with the customer care I got this morning. I was super frustrated from the night before and my battery not starting and my road side assistance never came, so I was not happy with my car. First went to walmart auto center.. three cars waiting as they just opened, ugh so I was like fine I'll go to autozone and hopefully they will install it. What I get instead was that and much more. Alex helped me pick out the battery, I asked if he could help me install and offered with no hesitation. When we went out to the car, he noticed my cable clips were in BAD shape, I wish I had a pic of that. He offered to change then out right then and there, of course I was surprised, he was going above my expectation of autozone.. I was all fixed and ready to go within 20ish mins. I originally went to O' Riley's since I had been on that side of the street and prices are about the same so I went there first though due to on and off rain they didn't help me install my traffic signal bulbs that stopped working though made an excuse saying that my headlight cover made it impossible to change the bulb so I got a refund and went to autozone literally across the street and got what I needed and was helped when it stopped raining then while one of the workers was changing my left bulb it started raining again and he quickly tried to fix that one came back with a jacket while my hood was up and did it then I said we could do the other side when it stopped raining again so by then the bipolar weather let up and a different person came to complete the job since the previous person was on a conference call but he too did an amazing job with little knowledge of my vehicle functionality . I understand liability issues could arise when dealing with electric parts in bad weather but working around it was all that had to be done via other shop either way the customer service was good they're speedy with assistance Etc I would recommend this place to a family or friend. read more

I come in for a simple request, I need a headlight bulb for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Fast forward to me at home trying to do an easy bulb swap and cursing like crazy because the bulb won't fit. Turns out a quick google search shows the bulb I got is the wrong one entirely. F me for not just googling, buying online and doing it all myself. Had to replace my car battery so went to O'Reilly to see if I could buy a battery and have them install a new one. They looked at my car and said that my car wasn't eligible for the service. Then went to Autozone. The two people who helped me were really great. They walked me through the different battery options and installed the battery, no questions asked. The store had some challenging customers in it and the staff was very professional and helpful despite less than ideal circumstances. Great value and great customer service. Car was becoming slower and slower to start, googled it up and was suggested to go to the nearest AutoZone for a free check. One of the staff checked my battery level/alternator/starter with this gadget that hooked up to the battery terminals. He was super nice to explain what showed on the screen, and we were pretty excited that it was only the battery. The alternator/starter would've required more cash. They helped me choose a battery and replaced it free of charge. They were helpful and ridiculously nice. Walked in pretty worried expecting the worst of the worst, drove out relieved. read more

I haven't had very good luck with cars recently. My rearview mirror decided to fall off because I needed an extra thing to scurry around and fix after being on vacation. Some light Googling informed me that I should remove the button from the mirror (impossible) and simply (yea right) glue it back on. I called around and most auto shops wanted a pretty chunk of change or they wanted my car for half the day. No thanks, no time for that. I marched in, smiled at the guy behind the counter and he sauntered out to help me pick out my glue. He had a hard time understanding that in addition to the mirror, the entire OnStar/whatever system had also fallen off the dash. After some back and forth I ended up buying two kits to get the job done. He told me I'd have to apply the glue and wait 12 hours - this wasn't actually true. I could apply the glue and it dried in three minutes. The back of the box told me so. Anyway, problem solved. I'm not sure they are as well versed as someone in a car store should be, but oh well, I guess it's true that men don't like to read directions! read more

I really like this particular Autozone. Very helpful and prompt service. They usually have the parts I need where as the Kragens across the street does not. I really like their rewards card, I can get $20 every so often when you spend a certain amount. I've received this discount 3 times now, I like it! I wanted to take the time to write a review on the great customer service that I received last week from Jordan J. My car happened to die at the Auto Zone parking lot and Jordan was so kind in assisting me in checking to see what was wrong with my car. He tested a couple things on the car and found out at the alternator was no good and had drained my new battery along with it. Jordan took the time to remove my battery and fully charge it while at the same time placing an order for my new alternator, and also called an auto repair shop down the street to see if they could please install the new alternator upon it's delivery. Jordan also took the time to speak with my dad on the phone explaining to him everything that was happening with the car. To say the least I was able to get my car running within a few hours thanks to all of Jordan's help and knowledge! read more
