I got this cute ghost tattoo from her back in 2021 when she was an apprentice and I am so happy she has long been an official artist there because she is AMAZING. She will make you feel comfortable throughout the process and is just a delight to talk to. It was my first tattoo on the ankle and it was pretty spicy when she had to draw over the bone but she made it seem like it went by fast!! Would never come here again for a tattoo. Sadly, this is my first tattoo. Jourdan Mendoza was my tattoo artist, paid $40 for consultation and $800 for tattoo. Went in 5/21/24 and went back for my touch up 9/24/24. After it healed, it looks even worse. A lot of areas look sloppy, outlining, shading, and shading outside of the lines, also I have tattoo blowout in one section. My initial encounter with Cindy, An Asian artist who I called on Saturday and asked was anyone available, told me sure they were taking walk-ins and she might be able to take me. Upon arrival (10 minutes from the call) She told me "this was her last day and she'd be leaving" When I inquired where she'd be going her response was "home duh" and said "the tattoo I wanted would take time and I would have to come back another day". When I asked if there was another artist seeing as though I didn't necessarily ask for HER to do it, she unprofessionally passed me to someone else as though it was some kind of issue. Be careful booking with Jeff ! I sent in the inquiry form with reference pictures etc. got to the shop the day we were going to do the tattoo and he had completely veered away from my reference photos and preferences stated beforehand. I told him I didn't want to do the design he came up with and would like him to redesign closer to my reference photo. The same night I text him apologizing for any confusion I may have caused and told him I can't wait to see what he comes up with. But after that day he stopped responding and ignored me when I followed up with him about still wanting to do my tattoo. For those looking for the short version... this place is awesome and Justin is an amazing artist and person, highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tat and experience! Ok now for the long version: So while I was waiting for my Windows to get tinted, I decided to go in to closest shop to start looking in to getting this tattoo. I walked in and was quickly greeted by Justin, who was the only artist in the shop at the time and busy tattooing someone already. When he got a chance he introduced himself and from there it started. We began talking and I was explaining my idea. We exchanged contact info and Justin said he would be in touch regarding more ideas and to schedule an appointment. The next day Justin reached out to me asking if I could come in the following Monday at 4pm. I was surprised able to get in so quickly! I was expecting a few weeks at best. Justin truly is an artist! From what I went in with to what I walked out with far surpassed my expectations! I could tell he put his heart in to this work and was treating it more than just a business transaction. Justin has a steady hand and great technique. I was expecting it to hurt being that it was the inside of my arm but Justin doesn't have a heavy hand at all and it felt as good as it could. During the tattoo Justin and I had a great conversation about various subjects. It made it feel so much more like a personal experience than a business transaction. Justin is down to earth, humble, and a good person! After the tattoo was done Justin was very thorough in explaining after care instructions and a nice topper was he put Dermishield over my tattoos for free! That stuff is not cheap and I would've totally understood with having to pay to have it put on. That right there is another example of how much pride Justin takes in his work. I was also provided with antibacterial soap and fragrance free lotion as well.
