I have gotten quite a few tattoos from multiple artists here, via scheduled appointment. *this was a few years ago, in the process now of getting tattoo lasered off* I did a walk in with my husband, we wanted to both get tattoo. I showed the design of a queen of hearts, was told this was doable in "thin lines". Was paired with an artist who used an "old-school" tattoo gun, while tattooing I did bring up to artist that I do NOT normally bleed during tattoos, as I have my whole back done and a patch sleeve. Was told it was the placement. Had noticeable bruising and blowout the next day. The tattoo has since spread a significant amount and there are multiple blowout spots. Would not recommend doing walk-in for thinner line tattoos. read more

This review is about the piercer. He didn't have experience with surface bars. First time I was pierced he used the incorrect jewelry and bar shape. It rejected in less than a month. Any experienced piercer would have know to use 90 degree titanium staple bars. I went back to him again ( this was a mistake ) after requesting he order the correct jewelry. And then I get stabbed with the needle and he is unable to put the jewelry in , and still charges me $20 for a needle. I didn't even get a piercing and he STILL charged me?! I wish he would of just decline to do the piercing all together , rather than put me through pain and suffering ( and wasted money) due to his inexperience read more

piercer did not check for sweet spot before piercing septum which led to it going through cartilage and him having to stop half way through the piercing which also caused my boyfriend to get light headed and dizzy during service. don't recommend getting anything done here especially when they are tip hungry and uncaring of their clients. read more

I came in as a walk-in as I desperately needed assistance with removing four ear piercings (two on each side). Initial piercings were from Claire's with a piercing gun in January 2025. I slept on a 10 hour flight with head phones over ears. One of the earrings was deep in the hole and was too painful to push out. Nick assisted with removing all 4 piercings and had patience with me because I was too nervous or the pain. Total cost $20 and was provided cleaning instructions. Sugar hands was the worst piercer I have ever encountered. I have over 13 piercings, and the two that he did got infected. I got them both done in June and both had to be taken out. Convinced that a nose piercing was missing on my face, my fiancée and I decided to finally go through with a nose piercing. We chose Engineerink after my sister had it done at this location two weeks prior. She said that it was painless and very smooth. We didn't have an appointment and thankfully it wasn't busy. David, the piercing technician was finishing up with a client and was very quick to provide service for us. Writing a review on Mya Marie's service (or lack of to better put it). In a shortened version, she had failed to get back to me on a lotus design I had asked for even after I met up for a consultation and gave my $20 deposit. For the long story, I reached out multiple times and she never seemed prepared. I would think for a tattoo artist, customer service would be good for the job, but unfortunately the lack of communication made it impossible to ever even see what my tattoo would've looked like. As you can see, on December 6th, I had dm'd her to see if she can draw up a lotus flower design for me, and she replied the next day saying she was interested. In the next following photos, you can see us figuring out a consultation. The consultation went well and I made my 20$ deposit, and she had told me that I can get my tattoo done possibly before Christmas or right after New Year's the latest. Mind u, during my time waiting for a reply, she was posting her other client's tattoos (letting me know she was active), which I didn't see odd at the time until I haven't heard from her for a pretty long while. In the next photo, it's after Christmas and I'm asking if she had a sketch done or at least any updates. She gets back to me on January 10th saying she was sick. I get it, it's uncontrollable, so I ask her to show me the sketch when she gets a chance. After four days, and not even a message saying she was at least drawing it up, I settled on sending the dm that I want my deposit back. Three days later, she says she can show me some designs if I'd still like to continue with her, or she would understand giving me my deposit back. I'd settled on asking for my 20$ back. Fast forward, it's March 22nd and that was the last message ever sent through our dm's and I've heard nothing from her. She had never reached out first from the moment I've talked to her about the tattoo. I've gotten pretty busy which is why it had taken so long to even write this review. Pretty sure they rarely make mistakes but I came in for my first lobe piercings and for my left ear they pierced it through straight correctly. However, how ever for my right ear, they angled it weird to the point i need to spend minutes finding out where the ear ring goes through. From the middle center of the lobe to close to the back of my jaw is how they pierced my right ear and I didn't know until I got to change my ear rings. Although customer service was good, I don't think $80 was worth it with the mistake. read more

I just went in the other day to get snake bites piercings. Unfortunately I'm going to have to take them out because the guy that pierced me put one about a millimeter lower than the other. That doesn't sound like a lot on paper but that's a pretty big fuck up when it comes to snake bites since the whole point is for them to look symmetrical. When the guy put the dots on my face and asked me if I liked the placement, I questioned him and he took it wrong. He basically told me I was crazy to question his authority and that he has it right I'm just making it look wrong by moving my mouth around and looking at it too hard. I wish I had just left at that point. I can't say don't get a tattoo here since I didn't get that but I can say don't get pierced here, just pay a little more money and get it done by someone that will do it right. read more

nick is by far the best piercer i've ever been to! he was so quick, smooth, and friendly. i barely felt the needle go through. i was kind of nervous to get my nose pierced because it's been years since i got my last piercing, but he distracted me by asking me how my day went. the prices are great compared to other places. i paid $40, which includes the piercing and the jewelry. once you're done, they give you a paper full of after-care instructions so that you don't get an infection. i HIGHLY recommend this place. read more
