Before signing up, I did some quick research that verified that what Alex has said was spot-on. Alex and his sales manager, Kristian, were available and ready to answer any questions I had before, during, and after the installation. The warranty obligates OC, not the installer. My materials warranty is 50 years with no proration and is one-time transferable to a new owner. My OC workmanship warranty is 10 years. The warranty also covers wind resistance to blow-off up to 130 mph for 15 years and algae resistance for 25 years. Tear-off, full installation, and cleanup were done in one day flat. The crew was roughly a dozen people, who started at 6:30 AM and finished in 12 hours. The size and skill of the crew made quick completion possible. Per the Madison County Inspections Department they never even filed for a permit for our approximately $42,000 job. The Home Builder's Board informed us he was solely licensed as a Builder and not licensed to do the electrical work and plumbing work he had his construction workers do. When we informed Thomas about the outlets left hanging out of our walls and the live electrical wires his workers shoved into our kitchen walls, the defective GFIs they installed, and the numerous leaks left behind there was ZERO accountability instead he responded that we "have no leaks and electrical issues" and threatened to sue us and put a lien on our home within 24 hours. We have been working to correct the mess left behind for over two months now. Per a seperate inspector they didnt even install our vinyl flooring correctly and it has to be redone because they didn't leave room for expansion and they're actively snapping apart. You can't even reason with his office girl as she spews a bunch of professional talk at you and makes a bunch of excuses for his beligerent, aggressive behavior. Do your homework and don't buy into the reviews like I did. There is a complaint pending with the BBB that he quit responding to and a formal complaint being investigated by the Home Builder's Board. Ask to see a permit if you do hire Parks and verify licensing to do anything you're attempting to have done and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!
