I was referred to this place by my colleague to check my squealing brakes on my Corolla. Mike was the mechanic and to my surprise, he instantly identified the source of the noise (which many others before him failed to do). It turned out that my rear brakes went really bad and he replaced them very quickly. Furthermore, one of my tires was in a drastic condition, and I wouldn't be able to afford a new one. Luckily, Mike gave me an almost brand new tire for a price of a pizza. I mean they fixed the problem and went over and beyond. It's really hard to find an honest mechanic nowadays, but this place was different. read more

Had an alignment done. Tell me why my passenger side wheel lug nuts were lose, so my wheel was lose and bouncing all over the place. Yea yea but the "mechanic" wanted me to bring it back to get brakes and rotors (not the clerks fault). You know I could have had an accident right? We went there yesterday to get used tires for my truck, drove about half a mile and noticed that the truck was shaky and it was a bad tires that they installed. Returned and got 1 tire switched and left for the day, the next day driving to work on the 14 freeway the other tire blew out while I was driving causing front end damaged to my truck. Went into the shop and the guy bald guy that helped me the day before hid from us and so I went and bought a tire elsewhere. Then later in the day the first tire popped while my truck was parked. Waste of money and all I got was an apology. I had my 1 yr old in the car with me and all they said was it's not illegal to sell used tires but they knew that both tires they sold me were junk. Never going to place again and not recommending their tires or their service read more

My parents have been going to AV Tires for years. They have two cars and no matter what - they will tow the car in to AV rather than taking in anywhere else. My parents no longer go to anyone else for their automotive repair needs. I need them to work on my car so will check them out in December 2017. AV Tire Center is the best. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. My daughter came to visit and here car was clicking-never a good sign. Thankfully, they were open and willing to help. They first inspected the car and as my husband suspected the axles were a thread away from falling off. I really appreciate that they took the time to physically show my husband & I the condition of the car and in no way tried to b.s. us. He even gave us the special coupon price that is in the Pennysaver eventhough we didn't know about it. They fixed the car same day...not many will do so (especially on a Sunday). This place is just awesome. My car was acting funny after I had visited some family in Palmdale, Had to drive back to Burbank but didn't want to risk it. I seriously thought my car wouldn't be able to make it back. Was close to closing time and they asked if I could come back in the morning. I explained my situation and they took the car in instantly. I was expecting them to charge me an arm and a leg since I had no other options. They showed me what the issue was and told me they would give me the damaged parts off my car so I could show it to my guy in Studio City. Which I did, and my guy told me I paid a very reasonable amount and actually got a pretty good deal! read more

This afternoon I stopped in for an estimate on getting my timing belt replaced. They quoted me a great price so I ended up having them do the work today. Not having a ride home, Mike offered to drive me, how awesome is that! My car was only there a few hours and they fixed everything. Now my car is running great! I can't say how thankful I was to have gone here today. I was helped by Mike, God bless him. I went there because my AC was not working just hot air was blowing out. And as you know it has been extremely hot these days, 106 degrees outside so inside the car it felt like 120 degrees. Having my children in the car made me as a mother feel worse. Being that I am a female, I am always weary of going to any mechanic or auto shop by myself thinking they will B.S. me and charge me an arm and a leg. This week in particular I was feeling defeated, with a lot of bad luck and just a lot of things happening. My husbands car broke down, my six year old daughter diagnosed with cancer, just a lot. I. am a Nurse and a mom and not being able to cure your daughter and seeing her in pain is the hardest thing ever. Sorry for the personal note but you get the point just feeling completely defeated. I work graveyard so just got off work, and sweating in my car due to ac not working worried about my daughter. Then I stopped by AV Tire Center and asked for help. MIKE, fixed the problem immediately and with everything else going on I was beyond greatful!!! There are still honest, good people in the world. And It meant so much to me. I couldn't thank him enough and then before I left he asked for my daughters name which is Isabella, and he said he would tell his wife and pray for her. Which for me meant the world. I strongly recommend this place for any car repairs. Ask for MIKE a true honest, kind person who will explain everything he is doing and show you what is wrong with your car. NO B.S. While driving from San Diego to Palmdale I noticed I had a leak in my tire from the TPMS and I decided to stop in here. I told them I had an event to attend in 2 hours and they checked my tire immediately. They found a nail and repaired the tire all in under 20 minutes!! This place is amazing!! read more

Not sure if they got my review of av tire center or not. So will write it again. This the review for 3084 e palmdale blvd av tire center. Many buildings there but this is the front building. Very nice people. Very polite and respectful. But the place is dirty and unclean. I went there with a coupon for an oil change for 19.99. But he said there was fees so the price went up to 30.00 and some change. So i should have left but i didn't. Oil looks of high quality. But the mechanic scratched some of the plastic in the engine bay and he overfilled my engine oil by 1/2 to 1 quart of oil Will have to drain some of it out. Can't do anything about the plastic. Wanted to give them a better rating..but i can't. Small things are important to the customer. Overfilling the engine oil and scratching some of the plastics isn't good. Shows lack of attention to detail. read more

don't go here!! i have a 1999 gmc 3500 pick up truck and needed a tune up. the truck has a 5.7 liter motor and they said it was a 5.3 liter ??? what??? that truck and size lowest size motor is a 5.7!!! they don't know what thier doing...go there i guess for tires ...but, not for anything else...........$150 for 8 plugs and $80 for instalation???? read more
