My wife and I purchased a new vehicle in late 2022. New = expensive maintenance. Everything is $500 when you take it back to the dealer - synonym for mixed bag of mediocre service and higher priced parts. The loaner vehicle can be a nice convenience, but I felt you pay for it in the end anyway. Recently, we had to change the brakes and it was easily going to be a $700-800 job at the dealer. We decided to give Jerry and Krissy at Palmdale Wheels a try. Aside from providing great service, the pricing was fair. They topped off the liquids and gave an overall inspection to make sure everything else was in good order. The recent rains and bad weather had the tires looking in bad shape. Took my truck to get an alignment and picked it up 2 hours later they said I needed tires, and it would be around 800 for all 4 .... I took it to a different tire shop a week later. The ball joint was broken on the drivers side. Palmdale wheels and tires did not let me know it was broken, which means they didn't check my truck like they should have. Very unprofessional. I took my own advice and went to WestEnd Alignment where they did a 4 wheel laser alignment. I have the before-after print out and I'm shocked to see that my initial camber settings were nowhere near what I asked Palmdale Wheels & Tires to do. WestEnd did what I asked them to do with no push back. I'm posting my alignment results so you can see the difference between Palmdale's "alignment" and a laser alignment. As you can see, I originally asked for -1.5° and was told "close enough" but it's closer to 0°. read more

I see alot of people leaving good reviews but I didnt experience anything good here. I don't know what his problem was but he was very rude. I just wanted an alignment and I'm guessing the spanish guy is the owner , he had this frown on his face the whole time I'm talking to the older person about the alignment. I said okay let's do the alignment and the spanish guy said something real low to the older guy regarding the alignment. I didnt think anything of it. They had a delivery and I kept noticing the Spanish guy giving eye gestures and trying to tell the other guy something. It was a weird vibe and I dont know why. He noticed I seen him acting weird and he said "hey how are you" . I said fine what's the problem what's wrong , is there an issue. He said oh hes getting ready to do the alignment, I said I know but it seems like there is an issue. He then says if the alignment declines I still have to pay . I know nothing about alignment so I asked what would make it decline, he said idk what year is the car. I said 2003 what difference does that make. Then he says well it might need parts. I said okay how much is it if it declines as you say, he said 40 dollars( the full price was 75). So I said why didnt you just say that from the beginning instead of the eye gestures and whispering to each other and acting weird and unprofessional. If your policy is that I have to pay 40 bucks then I'll pay 40 bucks if something was wrong. Dont make me feel uncomfortable when I'm coming to spend my money with you. He started acting rude and waiving his hands around . I asked is it because I'm black or what. I dont see any other reason his vibe was off. I just wanted an alignment. The money is never an issue. He had a problem as soon as he seen me. I just told him never mind I'll jus go spend my money somewhere else. Now I'm on 12th east and Palmdale blvd getting an alignment and they are nice as ever. I've been coming here ever since I started drifting and Jerry would keep a stock of used 17" tires so I could come in and pick up tires after every weekend I would go driving. After about 12 years, I'm still coming here and Jerry hasn't changed. He still does great work, takes care of your vehicle and they still torque your lug nuts (most other shops rely on their guns). If you order new tires he doesn't have in stock they'll be here in 1-2 days, sometimes same day. The best tire shop in the AV. read more

My wife found a screw in our Suburban's back tire last week while loading our 5 year son Bobby into his carseat to take him to his hair appt for his first day of the first grade and she panicked! So she went to GiGi, our awesome mechanic at Qualifast here in Palmdale and he said it wasn't safe to drive on so he referred her to Palmdale Wheels & Tire. When she arrived she said the place was so clean and the people so friendly. They had the replay of the Dodger game on so our son Bobby who is autistic was immediately entertained. Casey looked at the tire and not only saw the screw, but noticed a nail. I told him safety first since Bobby's in the truck so do what needs to be done! Casey came back and said, good news! I was riding around on a spare tire for a week calling places and quotes for a new rim either no one sold the kind I needed or they charged my arm and leg for it. This place not only offered my rim for me but had good pricing on it as well. Although they had to order it first they told me on a Wednesday it would be there by Monday I thought that's so long but it was there by Friday morning. Extremely satisfied with my experience here. He went the extra mile with his service. I brought in my GTI for a wheel alignment and they did a great job and I got an awesome price. The guy even told me about an bump one of my tires had. Also he switched out a washer from a screw that had been placed wrong. Tire pros had told me I needed a new screw and new shocks and wanted to charge me over $600 for it. This guys switched it out and didn't charge me any extra.
