He gave me a fair, transparent price and treated me with absolute professionalism. What really stood out, though, was the integrity of Bill and his team. After I left the store, one of his staff caught a mistake in my math that had shorted me $200. Bill personally called me right away, explained the error, and offered to stay late or mail the difference--whichever was easiest for me. That kind of honesty and customer service is rare these days. I thought it would be fixed in house, but they send it out to downtown Chicago. I wanted an estimate for the repairs....but they fixed it without giving me the estimate first! Well, I had the watch back for under a week and one of the links snagged my sweater. I returned to the jewelry shop and they made all kinds of excuses as to why they were not responsible.... I explained that to them and they advised me not to worry about the result. They charged me $50 for the cleaning which was higher than the $25 I usually pay but it was worth it. My Tiffany necklace sparkles like new. So much, that I gave it to my daughter so that I won't oxidize it again.
