We first used Avalon Flooring in Stafford after Hurricane Sandy. We were so stressed out but Kyle from the store relieved our stress by helping with his knowledge and expertise on the merchandise and relieved some of the stress. After that we were return customers for every job we needed to do that they could help us with. Kyle helped with each purchase and never lead in the wrong direction even advising us not to purchase some items we thought we wanted....his advice was ALWAYS the way to so. We eventually used him for our home in Bergen County when needed. It was worth the ride down so Kyle could help us out. My husband and I needed new floors for our kitchen, especially since we have a very messy toddler. We couldn't be any more pleased with Avalon Flooring in Manahawkin. The sales person we very informative and really listened to our needs. He showed us a few things in our price range and explained the pros and cons of each type of flooring. Once we made our selection, the salesman (Jonathan), scheduled an appointment with the estimator for us. The estimator came in and was extremely nice and professional. He provided us with some suggestions and also told us what he would do in his own home. On the day of the instillation, the floors were installed quickly, yet efficiently. We went to Avalon on RT. 72 to buy hard wood flooring, and shutters. Fortunately Nancy Lee was our sales person. Nancy guided us through the various hardwood flooring section and made spending money almost enjoyable. She explained everything about the flooring and answered all our questions. She did the same when we told her we were interested in shutters also. On a Saturday at 8am. as agreed upon, three gentlemen from Shamrock Flooring showed up at our door. Vagner da Cunha, Marcio Rodrigues, and Evandro dos Santas. These men ripped out carpeting, padding, scrapped the plywood flooring and cleaned up. They then installed the new flooring we purchased. We are rebuilding a house that was destroyed during Superstorm Sandy. We hired a contractor and he suggested we go to Avalon Flooring in Manahawkin for ideas on flooring, tile, and carpeting. Upon our first visit we were greeted by Kyle who is a salesperson there. He was extremely helpful right from the start. He immediately made a list of the things we were looking for. We were replacing our kitchen floor after our current laminate floor was ruined by a water incident. We went to Avalon in Manahawkin and were greeted by Deneen Oliveira. We are building our home in Beach Haven West. We worked with Rachelle. I cannot say enough about the outstanding service she provided. She was a wonderful designer and gave us excellent advice. She was able to take my visions and improve them and make them a reality for our home. She treats us like family, and gives all of us hugs and kisses when we walk in the store. We had problems (our doing) with a traverse rod for verticle blinds that were bought and installed by Avalon after Sandy. We tried working with the manufacture to no avail. Avalon stepped in and provided the replacement rod at no charge and we paid to have it installed. They installer was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Having worked with Avalon after Sandy we truly appreciated the selection, design help and follow through. Since I live on beach " thought I was going for a "beachy" look so he helped me choose a very nice tile . however a few days past and I realized it really wasn't my taste , looking for more Zen like design and color . The best experience my husband and I have ever had with work being done in our house. The Avalon staff at the Manahawkin location was extremely friendly and easy to work with(Brian, Ralph and Marco), and Vagner and his team of installers were fantastic.
