I went to the cemetery and was not familiar with layout, so I went to office to ask for location of…read moreheadstones. The women in the office were not friendly or helpful. They do not have a map to show location of burial site. They gave vague directions, such as in front of masoleum. There are many, many graves in front of masoleum. Could not find graves, so went back to office and the women said they could not be of any more help. How do you have a cemetery without maps to show location? It costs only pennies to print a map. Employees should know layout of cemetery. I have been to many cemeteries and if they don't have a map, they give detailed directions, such as, park by the tree and go up 6 rows. How difficult could that be? It is a small cemetery after all.

We met with Elaine. From the beginning she had almost no clue on how to use the new software system that was in place. She called a help desk person a couple of times, to no avail. After close to 3 hours she finally wrote it up manually. Then she informed us she was out the day of training for the new software. We just couldn't believe this was happening during our grieving for my dad. We ordered food for after the service through them as well. We ordered off of the menu they had. But some of the food didn't match what was on their menu. . When she started the service, she introduced the minister with the same last name as ours. Some people thought he was a family member. My sister also ordered keepsakes that held some of my dads ashes, when we picked them up she said she broke one but glued it back together. Never offered if she could replace it. After all this my sister went there at a later date to complain about the food a gentlemen named Steve said he would credit her credit card 200 dollars for the food snafu. Well that credit never showed up and it's been a couple of weeks. Come to find out afterwards if you have one of those insurance policies you don't have to go with them. I've been to a service at another funeral home in town named Brewer. That was a fantastic service. Our total for dads service was almost 9k. I do not recommend this funeral home whatsoever

Sandra Bonilla…read moreguided her through the whole process and all the staff did an exceptional job making the memorial exactly how she wanted it. Our mother just passed on October 1, 2022 and we went back to Sandra. Again, Sandra helped us through the process. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the memorial and move it elsewhere due to our brother needing life threatening surgery. Sandra was so compassionate, telling us not to worry about the contract. She took care of the paperwork for the cremation right away. It was such a relief during a stressful time. If you have to go through the process, we highly recommend working with Sandra and the staff at Turner Funeral home.

Cemetary is beautful. Lots of trees and open areas. Mausoleums as well. Crematorium on sight. Lots of options avaiable to you. They even have an area for guests to have a catered lunch after the service!! One stop shopping. You can even be buried in a kayak!!! I love the dolphin statue. I'll be buried in NJ, but probably will have my service here and a memorial service in NJ by my grave. I'll be buried at the foot of my Dad's grave in the same cemetary as Tina and Nana. I visited the Heartwood Preserve after reading an article about the facility in the Tampa Bay…read moreTimes. The grounds are open to the public during normal business hours. I walked the cemetery and the preserve. I didn't inquire info or pricing of services.. A description of what I viewed while on the property is below along with several photos. The Heartwood Preserve is a medium size property and is essentially the same environment as Starkey Park. In fact, the most southwest corner of Starkey Park borders the Heartwood Preserve. The border fence can seen on the preserve trial which is probably a quarter mile long. I walked through the cemetery portion of the property viewing two graves. Small grave markers can be seen along the trail indicating gravesites. One grave not pictured was circled by pinecones with pineneedles a top. Each gravesite was directly beside the cemetery pathway (not paved) identical to many field like trials at Starkey where many fan shaped palm fronds are. The welcome center was staffed when I visited and a separate employee was tending to the grounds and politely waved and smiled. I learned a lot by walking the property on my own and will consider burial on these grounds.
