Wide variety of tennis gear, and convenient that the street parking in front of the store is usually open!

I needed two rackets strung and I called Tennis Center Sand Point for a quote. I talked to the receptionist and she said she'll transfer me to the Pro Shop. I waited on the phone and I was left with a voice message saying the voicemail inbox was full. Ok, no problem, I called again and same receptionist picked up. I was then transferred again, and someone picked up...from the Tennis Center cafe. Er, what? I called a third time and was finally transferred to the Pro shop. I asked them for their prices and it was a bit steep in the price (which by all means is fine - I'm not arguing against their policy.) I wanted to ask another question and thanked them for the quote, and in the middle of my sentence, the guy in the Pro Shop, with the most monotone and rude voice, interrupted me and just said: "Have a nice day" and hung up on me. The nerve. Customer service just flew out the door. This interaction itself single-handedly made my decision to NOT go to Sand Point to get my rackets strung. Sand Point, you just lost a potential customer. And from all the 1-star reviews, this is not an isolated incident. From the rudeness to overall incompetency, I will be looking elsewhere to get my tennis needs met.

For my needs, the club has been great with tons of options for drop in classes based on level. Where it gets a little more difficult would be for folks who want to sign up for a 6 week clinic and especially for children as the demand is far higher than supply. There is also a pro shop, which seems to have gotten some mixed reviews, but I haven't had any issues with them and the quality of the string jobs tends to be better than Avanti Sports.

This is a great hidden gem in Seattle…read more -------- Highlights: Super well-maintained courts, great lighting, awesome indoor climate, generous court time near closing Disappointments: Customer service is unstructured, rates are hard to read and unclear, no tennis balls provided for play -------- Parking is abundant and easy, so it makes being here stress-free from the start. The front entrance is wide and easy to spot thanks to the large blue banner out front. Inside, there's usually two receptionists, but the process felt a little unstructured. Pricing is hard to read in person and you'll have to ask what to do and when to pay. The courts are pretty top notch here. They extremely clean and cared for. You can rent single or double courts, with pricing based on group size. There are curtain dividers for privacy and to keep the balls from drifting between courts when you play. A major plus is their flexibility near closing. We booked a one-hour session, but ended up playing about 90 minutes since the prior group finished early and the light stayed on past 9:15. They don't provide tennis balls, so make sure bring your own. This is a solid choice for reliable indoor tennis if you are in the area.

Looks like they had a leaky roof at some point and never cleaned up. Lighting is inconsistent and off (ok, not blaming the lighting on an off game here). No real lounge to speak of, and limited waiting areas. Parking is plentiful though.

No wonder this is such a coveted membership to get for the area's elite. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and professional. They really have the best of the best! Our party room had a bar area, seating, and a balcony. It was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our party. The wine options were great, a wonderful variety and all quality. They served a taco bar that impressed me. The chef cooked me some shrimp special since I don't eat red meat, and it was perfect. The chips were amazing, they had tableside guac, just incredible. The view of the water was the cherry on top. I will keep dreaming about this spot for a long time to come.

My friend got married on the North Lawn last week and it was stunning with the water in the background - perfect space for a ceremony and reception. The reception was setup behind the ceremony, which was closer to the water. Tents, tables, buffet style food, etc. were all setup on the lawn - including a dance floor in front of the DJ booth. I recommend wearing block heels vs stilettos (or bringing the stiletto covers) as to avoid sinking in the grass :)
