There are other things to do in Los Olivos than wine tasting. We spent the morning walking up and down the main street popping into a handful of eclectic shops and galleries. At first glance, Avec Moi Decor appears to be a woman's fashion store, but wandering through I was amazed at all the unique items for sale. They have an amazing selection of gifts for babies and children, and many other items that would work as a gift for ourselves. Stop by los Olivos mainly to check out artwork and wine stores. But I went into the store and I'm glad I did. Everyone was very helpful and I ended up getting these dark green pants by Lysee. A little pricier than I like to spend over $100. But I know the quality and they fit well. They had some beautiful dresses and jewelry, but I wasn't in the market for those items at this time. read more

This is such a fun store. It's got everything, and LOTS of it, from clothing, to jewelry, to home decor. Items for adults, items for babies and young children. Things in French, in English, things for Christmas, for one's birthday, or things for no reason at all.... "just because" is as good a reason as any !! Lots and lots and LOTS of things... kinda expensive, but it's such cool stuff that you will want to buy it anyway... and you should ! My back was hurting that day, so I didn't spend as much time as I normally would have, but I saw enough to buy a few items. Love this store it has so many unique items, I could wonder here for hours. I enjoy stopping in this store every time we wine taste in the area. The store is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful inviting atmosphere. The perfect place to stop for gifts. They offer a variety of clothing, accessories, mens items, hand bags, signs, home decor, kitchen items, and children's things. Art and iron pieces hung around the store are also for sale. So much to look at I recover something new each visit. The girls working the store are sweet, friendly and provide excellent customer service. They will nicely bag and gift wrap items for you too. The prices for items range from lower to a bit expensive which is nice. You can find something at every budget. Great wine country experience in Los Olivos. The holidays offer great new themed items too! You must visit when in the area you won't be disappointed. read more

This store is amazing! They have the most unique items/gifts. I have had the pleasure of coming to this store twice and both times I wanted to buy everything! The prices range from quite expensive to moderate. I think everyone, regardless of wallet size, can find something here. They also have kids/babies items, men's items, and a beautiful wedding gift section. Their customer service is also top notch. Annie, went above and beyond for me, enabling me to get the perfect holiday gift for my mother and birthday gift for my boyfriend's mother. Worst customer service! Save your money & buy the items online (for much cheaper). There are cool cutesy stuff inside however sales associates seemed like they didn't want nor need their job. Never attempted to assist/help and didn't speak to me and often ignored us AS WELL AS the only other customer in the store. Being a local I expressed to one of them that my experience had been very uncomfortable. Her response, "It's OK don't worry about it she's had a long day", (referring to the other sales associate) when I had explained they were BOTH very unwelcoming, rude and never offered help as I had tried asking for. She just brushed it off as the others fault and as I was walking out, the more rude one of the two yelled out "I GIVE UP ON PEOPLE". On my way to Los Angeles, I had to make a stop at Avec Moi Decor. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to shop, but Avec Moi has such original and fabulous items, I can always use something new or find a gift for someone hard to please. Lucky me! I found 2 things I loved and on sale, wooo to that. I also found something for a friend who will go nuts when her birthday rolls around next week. Michele the owner is so helpful and can really zone in on what you're trying to find. This store is so dreamy, I could spend all day here! Their Parisian items transformed me to a happy place, the abundance of clothing made me so giddy, and the sparkly gifts were just beautiful. I ended up buying a long, black dress and can't wait to wear it. The staff is very helpful, too, and gave my friend and me fashion tips when we were debating on which items to purchase. While wine tasting was fun, shopping at Avec Moi was the highlight of my day. read more

I love this store! Can't wait to go back. Their product line is unique, of interest to both genders, high quality and fun. The only thing, that might have been my imagination, was that I was in Los Olivos to pick up Wine club selections from three wineries, which totaled a fair bit. I felt uncomfortable spending more that day. I bought only some soaps. I might have picked up an air of condescension. I hope not. I am not letting this cloud my otherwise perfect experience. I love this store and always stop here whenever I visit Los Olivos. Was so disappointed to find out on my last visit they are closed. In peeking inside it didn't seem like they went out of business but we waiting well after 11:00 am on a Saturday and no one showed up to open. There is a cute store next door called Wildflower but they don't have quite the same unique collection. Cute, cute, cute store in Los Olivos. While spending a day wine tasting it's convenient to stroll in town and window shop. This time I passed by I found a gorgeous coat on sale that I had to have. The place is filled with lots of different things from decorations to clothing. Unique gifts are spread throughout the store. If your looking for special gifts this is a store to find that perfect thing for your BFF or mother or yourself. I will be going back soon to spend my anniversary weekend up here and you best believe I will be stopping in to see what other goodies appeal to me. For being a lovely town as Los Olivos I was very shocked by the customer service at this location. Customer service is key and this place dropped the ball. If you are having a great day and want it ruined go ahead and go in. I hope they understand customer service is what brings people in your store and word to mouth is huge! The shop is lovely, but the service is awful. The employees have a prejudice attitude. They're also rude and reluctant to offer assistant.

I have been in this store on at least 4 different occasions and have never been acknowledged by the staff. It's really bizarre. Even being within arms length of an employee they still don't even say hello or anything. It's a beautiful store so it's a shame the service is so nonexistent. read more

I look at my receipt &.stamped on the receipt was "7 DAY RETURN POLICY STORE CREDIT ONLY". I had my receipt but live miles away so returning it was problematic.
