Security at Islip is Fast, the Frontier counter is very friendly as long as you are not asking for free upgrades or free stuff that you should have paid for and the whole team was efficient. I last flew from Islip to Atlanta in December, 2025 and had trouble with my paperwork for my service dog. Queen Everett who is a Frontier employee was kind, helpful and gave me great customer service to clear up the problem and get me, my daughter and my service dog on the plane. I've long believed that "personnel is policy" and it seems most certainly true here. On a flight from Long Island to Fort Lauderdale , most of the staff was ok, but there were several attendants that seemed to forget that they were actually charged with servicing a flying public. Short tempered and dismissive are the two terms that seem to sum up some of the attendants and unfortunately tarnished the experience of the others. I hope they fix this soon because the convenience of flying from Long Island could really use a boost with some great service.

Went back to our tickets which clearly said we could change. We checked their website and there were lots of seats available for sale for the flight we wanted. Isn't this fraud? We had to drive to the airport just to get someone from Breeze to talk to. And then when we were at gate when inbound flight arrived they announced that the captain had timed out and that our flight would be delayed by up to 2 hours while they tried to get another one. They KNEW when our flight was scheduled and the KNEW the captain would time out hours before the inbound flight arrived. So why didn't they have a captain lined up? Horrible airline. If everything goes smoothly maybe would be ok. But if anything at all goes wrong or if you need help forget about it. Do yourself a favor and book with another airline.

The flight was delayed about 25 minutes which was no big deal. We boarded the plane and was happy because my daughter and I Got an extra seat in our row. As we were sitting on the plane, they made an announcement that it looked like we had two tires that needed to be changed. They informed us that it would take approximately 45 minutes for maintenance to arrive and then approximately another hour. They had a suite on the plane for about 15 or 20 minutes and then came back on the announcements and told us that we were going to have to do you board the plane and that we could leave or are belongings. At that point we actually had to stand online to get our boarding passes re-scanned to exit the point. We then were off the plane for about an hour when they made an announcement That this plane could not fly out this evening. They were flying in another plane which would arrive in about an hour and a half at that point. But that meant that we had to now get back on the plane and get our belongings and bring them off the plane we then had to wait until they called us to get back on the plane retrieve our items and then get back off the plane and then wait a couple of hours for the other plane to arrive. We once again stood on line for a placement and seats and boarded the plane once again. They did give each passenger a $100 credit for their troubles and once we finally took off at about 10pm, the crew members on the place were wonderful.

His flight did not end up getting cancelled but it was delayed 6 hours due to malfunctions with the plane he was supposed to be flying. I had to call them. They had the wrong address for pick up in the system so it was good I called ahead. The taxi arrived LATE. The driver was very friendly. When I called for from airport week later dispatch again was awful. I was told they'd be there in 15 minutes had to call twice since they did not show. It took them close to an hour to show. With both calls it was very unclear, having to constantly say we have bad connection please repeat. If they don't fix issues with their dispatch service they will lose many customers.
