I have been seeing Dr. Fowler and his team for over 2years regarding a large mass hanging from my Mons Pubis. Also I have been seeing the Avera weight loss Specialist Dr Thamert I had a Gastric Bypass in Feb of 2024 and had finally lost enough weight And stopped smoking in May of 2025 so Dr Fowler was able to schedule surgery to remove the mass. It was a long process as I had the mass since 2017 and was unable to wear underwear or even sleep pants also I required the assistance of a wheeled walker to walk anywhere, I have been unable to drive myself and for me being a former nurse it was very very hard to ask for assistance for anything. I couldn't even ask my husband for assistance in bathing or self care for myself until I started seeing these two groups of providers. And Since Dr. Fowler started seeing me to start doing what I needed to do before he could remove the mass. I admit I was doing everything I could. the main road block was my smoking and I finally went to my Family Medicine provider and she started me on Chantix and I haven't had a cigarette since mid May of this year. Dr. Fowler removed the mass on 07/08/2025 and within 4 weeks of surgery , I'm able to wear above listed clothing esp my jeans again . I still have to use my walker due to being so off balance that I feel like I'm going to fall. However I'm going to use it as long as I need to. I'm so happy and pleased that the mass is gone and I can wear decent clothes "No More Dresses" for me unless it's a special occasion!!!!!!!!! It took alot of my hard work to get to where you said yes.. And now I'm so close to my goal weight I don't care if I have to use a cane or walker for balance GEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ I'm already 60 yr old lady at least I can where my jeans!!!!!!! After having a botched labiaplasty, I have tension and a fold on my upper left labia that rubs and causes irritation daily. I have been told that they are refusing to fix these mistakes based on 1. The lack of left labial skin (labia), and 2. That they wouldn't make me happy. They DO NOT guarantee their surgeries. I am now responsible for the cost of the fix of this surgery. As I've been told. I've been discussing these problems since the beginning of care and was invalidated at each opportunity. I was told that they would also fix it.
