There are over 35 restaurant stalls run by independent owners, 10 bars and an onsite brewery. The food is relatively inexpensive, and is generally of good quality. The vibe of this place is very lively and there is typically lots of music too. The variety of food is astonishing. We were able to sample food from several stalls and we enjoyed all of it.

The meat was tender and juicy; everything was seasoned well and delicious! And there aren't many places (if any other at all) where you can get yucca fries, so they were fun to try. Like potatoes but slightly sweeter with firmer flesh, if that makes sense. Normally I prefer ketchup with fries, but the chipotle mayo was actually good for putting out the small fire in my mouth after eating the tacos. There are some hot sauces at the 'counter' if the food isn't spicy enough for you, but one of the tacos was already pretty damn hot. I am unfortunately not sure which one it was... try your luck! (;

The chicken nuggets are battered with pesto and fried to crispy perfection. On the side is a truffle aioli (mayo) for dipping. Oh. My. Gosh. Incredible. The fries were thick and crispy and also went great with the truffle aioli. My family and I finished off the platters pretty quickly. So delicious. The van moves every day, so it's not sure that it's on Stefansgade. One taco is a small snack, and three (for 70 dkk) is a small meal on the run. I don't think that three can count as a dinner, you need something more.

During my vacation research, it said that these organic hotdogs in Copenhagen were not to be missed, so when I saw the little food truck outside of Torvehallerne, I was really excited. (Full disclosure: I don't really know what "organic hotdogs" means...) My friends and I got three to share: the original (klassisk dansk), red devil, and nordisk hotdog. They were all good, but I really enjoyed the red devil. Their pickled toppings were really good!! I would definitely recommend eating here. They're not that big though so I'd think of it more as a snack--go back inside Torvehallerne and get something extra from the other excellent good stalls if it's going to be your meal!
