This Is a Money Grab Property " I stayed there for 16 months yes I know the property seems attractive when the lease starts off at $1000 a month but the fees are roughly about $250 which equals 1250 single one bedroom apartment. They don't take an account of the environment or the people that live around you and they house anyone and I do mean anyone above you and around you unprofessional neighbors up all night more so like section 8 property . After my lease, was up , The leasing manager not the property manager, but the leasing manager does not properly explain all of your options. My rent went from 1250 to 1370 to 1900 on a one bedroom. They don't take deposits they deal with something called a Gatour so it's like you're paying a deposit but your money is nonrefundable when the lease is up You don't get anything. You find yourself still paying them after you've moved onto another property or house this month I had to pay them $330 and I'm already in a new lease with another property. I'll probably have to pay them another $330 next month because of miscellaneous charges this is a money grab don't let the cheap Rent fool you and please make sure you give them a 60 day notice two months before it's time to vacate. This is just my horrifying story about this property and if you notice, I stated the leasing manager not the property manager. The property manager is professional, nice and sweet, but she has people working under her that don't understand what they're doing or they just don't give a care it's not their money is yours DON'T MOVE HERE save yourself some trouble. read more

I've lived in this complex since 2009 often on and I feel that through changing of different management, they don't take care of the property things stay broken a lot. I love it because it's kind of peaceful, but I see now children are going in and out the swimming pool area and it's not open and it's just not the same. I don't know if they didn't invest in this property or they left it behind and some of the management team is just not what it used to be. And the staff can be a little bit more accommodating, but they're not. and I've been asked over and over to put in my rental insurance and I did it for last year and they keep She seems to not get that right I don't understand it sometimes I feel that I'm being slightly harassed. Communication is beyond subpar. they are not trustworthy. don't expect them to be honest with you. Intelligence and common sense - absolutely missing from this office staff. Averly Apartments DO NOT LIVE ANYWHERE WITH THEIR NAME ON IT!!!!! I have only been a renting at this location since Feb, 2021. This flooding has been an issue before I moved into the unit however, the leasing office did not disclose that information. Till we had our first storm that's when the leasing office admitted the rain water does affect the property. How can you lease out a unit which was claimed to be renovated yet the day we move in you all are replacing the stove? You all are delivering the washer and dryer, while it still took two weeks for the dryer to be hooked up. This property has been doing last minute renovations with us living in the unit. read more

I recently got an apartment here and everyone was great. Jhalon took me on a tour and answered all of the questions I had. Any question that I had outside of the tour was emailed to him with quick responses.Very application and move in process. If I had any trouble in my apartment I would send a work order and the problem would be resolved. Neighborhood is mostly clean and kid friendly. read more

I'm leaning against my fireplace, looking around my apartment, typing this and thinking, "Damn, we made a good choice." The apartment is a 4 out of 5 but the property managers get 5 stars all the way. Twynate and her fellow staff members have been nothing short of spectacular, especially in these trying times. They followed through, went above and beyond, and whenever I was stressed they put me at ease. Props to the maintenance staff as well for being efficient. Overall, the apartments and amenities are nice but it's the care and enthusiasm of the managers and staff that makes this a great place to live. read more

I've been trying to like this place however I just CANNOT!!!! I moved here mainly from the customer service. I wasn't shown the apartment I would be moving into I was showed a modeled version which was very cute and inviting... fast forward to move in and the unit wasn't ready... the unit was drab and sad, you could tell it had been empty for a while. Day 1 I'm putting in work orders for leaks, from water to gas. Stove and oven has been worked on twice and I finally gave up and purchased a convection oven. Put in over 20 work orders and when I went through them they were checked with a date of completion that was never done so I put them in again and stated that the service wasn't done. Had the pest control guy come once because after he sprayed there was a surge in German Cockroaches... I've purchased so much Raid that I should own a few shares in their stocks... the hot water heater is rusty and in noncompliance. Air nor heat circulates through out because the ducts are damaged and a professional has to come in but because it costs money for that service I've been ignored... I have my two small grandchildren under the age of 5 living with me in subpar conditions running around talking roaches roaches and it's worse when I have visitors so I keep it limited. My ceiling is about to cave in due to a leak from another unit and I have no kitchen lights and to top it off the toilet broke and when no one came after a month a purchased a $109 toilet and had it put in... if you can go somewhere else then do that... it's not worth the trauma... RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY!!! I'm not renewing my lease because of all the issues... read more

I was given the keys to move on Tuesday Jan 17. During the walkthrough, the apartment was clearly not move in ready. The fridge AND the stove didn't work. A few outlets had missing covers, one of the doors was missing a knob, the bathrooms were dirty and the towel rack, toilet paper dispenser, and shower curtain were broken, the window sills had dirt and trash on it. AND my mailbox door was broken and they didn't;t give me a key because they were waiting for a new lock (I had already had mail being forwarded) so anyone could take my mail if they wanted to. They PROMISED me it would be fixed by the next day, which it wasn't and again promised it would be ready by Thursday which is was not. It still looked like it was Tuesday. I already had my movers bring all my furniture in, but I couldn't sleep there because the appliances weren't working. (oh and the AC unit didn't blow cold air) I talked to the front office EVERYDAY, and called corporate to break my lease and get a refund. I will continue calling corporate, the regional property manager, and the leasing office until I get my refund. Luckily I was able to break the lease due to a clause in the lease which allowed to terminate because it wasn't move in ready and I wasn't notified in writing because of it (found a new apt the same day) Not saying this is a bad apartment, but this was a TERRIBLE experience. I don't know why I was given keys to the apartment when it clearly wasn't move in ready. I will continue calling corporate and the regional property manager until my refund is issued They have to do better with making sure the unit is at least cleaned and ready to move in read more

My move in experience was absolutely amazing. I was greeted by Freda she is the assistant property manager this lady is very very patient and so professional the staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond Kelsey was my agent i was definitely happy i have been here since october . I love the community i do feel safe living here! Its right next to 75 and i work downtown so getting to and from work is a breeze .all i can say is you have to come here to see instead of the reviews i was shocked so the price, location and they are very friendly the complex is quiet and parking is in front of my building.I had a maintenance issue 1x but it was because i had no clue how to put a request in i am happy and i would definitely do it again! read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE! The best part about living here is all of the stores, restaurants & that the highway is close by. Also, it is very quiet. These apartments need to be gutted & remodeled. They will get you in here & then forget about you! I lived here for almost 2 years. My first 6 months living here, I had a terrible leak in my bathroom coming from the ceiling (videos included). It took for me to reach out to the management company for me to get it resolved. It seemed like that's what I had to do every time I needed something done. I submitted several maintenance requests about the same issues. Maintenance is basically nonexistent. The leasing agents never get back to you about anything! I went there a few times about my dryer not working & they told me that they had to get GE to come out & look at it, never happened. I have pics from my initial walk through & things that occurred during my time here. The walls are paper thin, dry rotted window sills(they told me an outside contractor had to come for that, never did) missing shelves in the fridge & freezer(eventually received those, but the one they gave me for the fridge was too small), the paint on the ceilings will start to peel & fall, outlets won't work, appliances will stop working, the water will be cut off every other day for a few hours, heat & ac was not blowing properly in one of the rooms, but it was because "the unit was far away from that room"(yeah, that's what they told me) you will have ants(IN YOUR BATH TUB!!!), tenants let their dogs poop anywhere & you will always receive past tenants mail(not their fault but I threw it in there anyway). I would complain about the trash but over time they did a better job with that & I can't completely blame them, cause at the end of the day, it's the tenants dumping it anywhere. There are more things that happened but I feel like I've listed enough. The rent is way too high for all of these problems & I moved into a "renovated" unit. I literally had pages of maintenance requests for the same issues that never got addressed but I would see maintenance men getting units ready for new tenants. Wherever price they give you for rent, add on about an extra $100-$200 to it(water, sewer, valet trash, pest control, common area electricity, etc) & the pool NEVER opened! The apartments are nice...but the noise is a lot. If you have noisy neighbors then you are on your own. My husband and I have contacted the office multiple times and we have called the cops, but nothing and no one seems to be helping the situation. At the moment, I am very unhappy with Averly Apartments. Averly Apartments will let you go two weeks without hot water. The maintenance men have barely done anything, and the office staff will not return phone calls. My mother has been in and out of the hospital, and I can't even have her at home because WE DO NOT HAVE HOT WATER. They will ignore your phone calls as well. Would not recommend. If anyone knows contact information for their corporate office, I would love to receive it. read more

This place is the Worst. I have leaks in both bathrooms and kitchen toilet bowl cracked and leaking for over a year. Maintenance told us last year they were ordering a new one I guess it takes over a year for a toilet to be shipped. Call the office several times a day doesn't matter what time no answer always answering machine. Roches, Garbage this place just gets worst every year these people have been in charge the worst management and staff I have ever had to deal with. I see reply with call me I wish i could get someone on the dame phone to even talk to. I thought when Averly took over for chase village it would be a improvement but we are treated like we some 3rd world immigrants they should feel lucky to live in filth just because. This is unacceptable and once I find the corporate number maybe then I can get some service because this is crazy to have to deal with your toilet leaking for over a year buckets under the toilet to catch the water dripping smelling like urine but no one will come fix it. I've been living at Averly for two years now. It was formerly Chase Village Apartments and a new company took over so now two complexes that are next door to each other are one and the same. I have mixed reviews. On the one had I do like the property but it has changed in two years. I think the management team does their best. We had a problem with our garbage area and illegal dumping but just this week I've noticed it seems to have improved. The roof of my building leaks and they keep patching it with these bandaid fixes. According to when these places were built the roofs need to be replaced. it is not unreasonable to expect your apartment not to leak when it rains. I know it is just going to happen again. It's very disheartening when your rent goes up every year but services don't seem to be going up with it. I will say that when I moved in there were no roaches in my unit and we had a totallly different exterminating company. Now, the roaches are multiplying and I am doing my best to keep them back. The exterminator is a man that comes on Mondays. I don't know if he is a real exterminator or one of the maintenance men and I swear he must be spraying sugar water. So now I am paying an exterminator fee yet I am buying my own pesticides to try and keep the issue at bay and get rid of them altogether. Also, he came in one day and proceeded to spray. All of the doors were open except the door to my second bedroom and this man put his hand on the doorknob and turned without so much as a "do you want me to spray in here?" I've never had that happen. You don't just walk into a closed bedroom without asking! The previous gentleman would ask before he even went into an open room. My daughter was in the bedroom. I didn't like that at all plus the fact that whatever he is spraying is not doing a thing! We got an email saying we would be receiving an email survey about what we would like to see as tenants but the survey never came. I loved the idea of including us. There used to be contests and things but that seems to have stopped as well. I really do not want to move again. I love the area and this propert realy is not a bad place. We have valet trash but not all the tenants follow the rules so these balconies can become unsightly. Emails need to be reinforced with paper notices because some of these folks do not check their emails. I like living here, the apartments are beautiful and have the potential to be premier. read more
