A solid three-star hotel suitable for travelers. Exceptional for quality of service and value…read more This is a better than average hotel property, and in a nice safe location. Texas-style restaurant/bar immediately adjacent. McDonalds about half a mile away. Plenty of easy parking. Nice small gym, and the pool seemed to be really popular with kids. The room was clean and I slept well. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. You really get the feeling they're trying to go the extra mile. And speaking of that, when we arrived I had thought I would need to go out for dinner and I was amazed that they provided that. It was nothing special -- salisbury steak, corn, and mashed potatoes -- but given that I really didn't want to go out after a long drive it was very welcome. However, the hotel breakfast was just OK so I went to the nearby McDonalds instead. This place kept surprising me on the upside. Everything was just a bit better than I expected for the price.

I decided to book a room here based on the reviews that I read on yelp. Someone said to make sure…read moreto get a room on the field side, and when I arrived I realized this is because the other side is the highway side. So if you want to hear loud trucks going by, then definitely get a room on the highway side. I was able to get a room on the field side but I had to pay an upgrade fee of $10. This got me into a room with a kitchenette. It was really nice. I had never been in a room with a kitchenette. It had a small refrigerator as well as a microwave and a two burner stove. When I received my bill later by email I noticed that they had charged me a $12 pet fee. I did not have a pet with me. They removed the charge the next day, but I'm still waiting for it to drop off my credit card. The breakfast buffet was somewhat confusing. Unfortunately I'm on a low-carb diet and this means I can't eat 95% of what's on a breakfast buffet. I was able to have some eggs and also some oatmeal. When I went to get some oatmeal I noticed there were no bowls. I asked the breakfast matron where the bowls were and she said they were by the cereal. Hey, guess what? Oatmeal is a hot cereal. Either put bowls next to it or move the oatmeal down by the cold cereals. So I went and retrieved a bowl and went back to get the oatmeal, and then I wanted to put some artificial sweetener on it but the artificial sweetener and the raisins and other trimmings for oatmeal were also not located next to the oatmeal. They were in a third place, and not next to the bowls. Why do this? So dumb. They served hotdogs the night before, but I don't eat hotdogs. However, I found a stray cat outside and he (or she) appreciated the hotdog. I would definitely stay here again.

How could one pass up this Gem of a stay in Fort Stockton? The last bounce I had in this town was…read morethat the other Motel which I already did a review but this one surely surpasses that. To start off with, the owners are very very nice and accommodating. They will work with you if your company stays here for a while and you are needing a little torrent help, this is not for everybody just depends on how your company and fellow co-workers act I suppose. The layout is like a u shape pattern with the main office in the middle with BBQ grills, ice machine (bags.) that you grab if needed and snacks, dollar minimum donation. This is an honor aystem which I hope nobody abuses a very good thought by these owners instead of gouging people like other places do. The rooms are accommodated with microwave, coffee pot, TV and refrigerator. I can only a test for the refrigerator in room number 8 but that thing gets really cold if you needed to, one of the best refrigerators I've ever gotten a chance to use in any place, even my own home! The restrooms are stocked with clean towels, soap bars and toilet paper. Showers are stand up showers only. The one thing that stands out what I experienced hair compared to any other place is it was about 2 storm hair with hail and the owner personally knocked on everybody's doors inviting them to park their cars under the ports where you're not supposed to park your vehicle in the first place because there are picnic tables there, but she insisted because they care about people not having their vehicles damaged by the hail . That right there tells you the character of the owners here! I want to thank the owners on part of GRID for the hospitality that have shown me and my co-workers during our stay. Also when you run into the negative review on the other platform that they were just honest about their rates, try not being an idiot and smoking in the rooms when it clearly says non-smoking. All you have to do is meet the owners for a day or two and you will completely understand that they would not treat anybody lesser than the person next to you unless you break a simple rule.

The hotel was nice and clean. Desiree not friendly upon arrival and the woman that was working in the morning of the seventh was hard to be found. It was all kinds of people going to the front desk, but she was so busy caring for her baby that she brought to work, wow, it is a different time for sure. Hotel was nice enough. Our room was nice, they served a decent breakfast for those who eat this is gonna be good stuff, I don't. Minus about some hiccups. I guess I would still recommend it if you had to go to Fort Stockton. We did enjoy the warm cookie.

Our room was spacious with lovely decor & interior. There is a refrigerator, microwave, stove top, toaster & dishwasher. Good size cooking counter and kitchen sink. In cabinet you'll find utensils, a few dishes, pots/ pans and cook accessories. Long working desk area with a computer lamp, plus a cozy chair and floor lamp that sit parallel to that. Large bathroom with a stand up shower and dove products for hygiene. We only stayed one night, but would have been pleased if it were longer. Highly recommend the LQ, but time for us to part & travel on home from East Texas. Note-there's plenty of parking including RV space and the continental breakfast was simple & decent.

IH-10 which then translates in maps to 2469 Dickinson Blvd.... THEYRE BOTH WRONG!!! It'll have you parked at some abandoned buildings on Dickinson Blvd totally opposite of where you should be.... BEST THING TO DO, is type the McDonald Address and turn into their parking lot as it is a shared parking lot with Fairfield and Candlewood. IF you figure out the right address it'll take you back on the 10 and you'll make a very quick right turn (IF you see the entrance) from the freeway entrance to their lot. So Ya, that wasn't fun! Any hoot... employees all were very nice young ladies, when you seen them. I came in & out several time and no one ever came out or was at the desk. I seen them checking in and once walking over to McDonald's. After that I went out 3 more times and crickets! Now the rooms. The rooms are very nice and clean. I got a single queen suit and honestly the kitchenette was a nice touch. It has everything you need from dish soap to potato peeler. Has a dishwasher but no dishwasher pods/soap. Bathroom has Dove Products and instead of a dirty laundry bag they actually have a laundry basket. They have coffee available 24hrs in their mini store oh and a full size fridge. Overall this would be a great stay if I was staying more than overnight. There's a chevron across the street from McDonald's. Other than the address issue, which is a huge problem in my book after driving for HOURSSSS... this place would've recieved a 5 star review. The other star deducted is because the lobby restroom was dirty... had dried Pee drips and pubic hair on the seat and the sink faucet look like someone brushed their teeth and missed the inside sink.

I knew I wasn't gonna get a good hotel but I was sleepy so I decided what the hell let's go for it. I arrived at the inn, the office was empty, and there was a sign that said to call the attendant, I guess the attendant was asleep and after calling her several times on the phone she answered and told me in an annoyed voice that the room price was $69. I asked her why did it go up to 69 when I had called earlier She said it just did. She sounded really annoyed and hung up on me after she answered the question I called her back, but she would not answer. I'm pretty sure that they did not have that much business since there was only a few cars out there I've been to a Motel 6 in El Paso which was $44 and it was a horrible experience, but thinking about it right now I would rather stay there than stay here At least the people at the front desk won't act like stuck up pricks At least at least at the Motel 6, they advertised how their rooms actually looked I have been reading some of the reviews. People have been putting on here and I'm pretty sure most of these people that give five stars are paid to do so. If you're the owner of this inn and you read this review, you might wanna train your staff to be more polite and maybe have their brains checked for Alzheimer's Or just maybe hire new stuff
