I was thinking ummm shouldn't you put me in a consultation room at least. I told her umm your interest rate is low there is no point in keeping it. So the same rep lady took me into the consultation room. But no door for the consultation rooms behind the counter???. When you go in and sit with the rep you are facing opposite of the consultation room entrance so you don't notice it's widely open ( at least for the room i went into which was right behind the counter). Realized this just when I noticed the rep somehow kept asking me questions regards to the what I discussed with a different rep previously about month ago. Hmmm I would not be surprised if everyone can hear all the detail from outside - the front counter and the customer waiting area for consultation. Couldn't help feeling the rep was being a bit nosy when she asked me "so where did you go to college?" out of nowhere. I went to college about many many years ago but I guess she thought I was some young kid who just graduated from college which made sense at the end why she seem to behave a bit too casual and not as professional as I would normally expect in this field- i.e. telling me that I am not going to close the savings account (like this is an order and you are going to just do as i say sort of wording?) instead of using words like "I suggest or I recommend". Anyway I guess she realized that the question was irrelevant too and tried to justify the her question by saying something mumbled about the BOA bank branch at my alma mater which made no sense to me because her speech was a bit pressured and mumbled. She wasn't mean or anything but it gave me the impression that she was not being considerate/thoughtful and made me wonder after all this...do they talk/gossip about customers amongst themselves after I leave? do they overhear stuff I discuss with a rep?

I am reporting Avidia HSA to SEC today. I have been trying for two months to get assistance to use…read morefunds from my HSA for COBRA payments. A valid, authorized expense, each time I call I spend 30-45 minutes they cannot help. My logins do not work and cannot reset login info. They say there is an issue with their website. So sorry. They say they will send a form by email to close account and get funds, of course the form never comes. Call back - start over- another 45 minutes of total frustration - polite but useless. I only have under 4,000.00 in the account. But I imagine they must have a lot of funds that go unused, no way to access your funds. I have documented all calls and will file today. Including the made-up names of customer service personnel, Sparkle, really? I know I won't ever be able to access my funds but I can at least notify my previous employer and the SEC. This organization is a scam.

Avidia manages Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA) for people/clients. Instead, they require that you follow a long process to be reimbursed by check, which allows Avidia to keep your money longer. Quite questionable integrity.
