    I rented a truck for one day RSVP'ed for $70 with insurance $120. Came to find out they chartered me to fill up a $100 not sure how I called customer service said the guy at the Avis picked that option for me. Even though the stupid niggaaaa said it's full make sure to bring ot back like that. He was a stupid old fuck, that was doing everything wrong during check in, even that took over an hour. I even took a pic of the gas tank full

    These guys are crooks . They're trying to charge me for smoke damages to the car saying that it smelled like smoke and there's ashes. Funny thing is I don't smoke and neither does my wife or my two kids that was with us going to Disneyland. To me this is very disturbing the fact that they would actually make up something and send pictures of no ashes is very disturbing. Please do not rent from here. They're trying to charge me $450 that they just took off my card, I had to call them and then they gave me a letter afterwards telling me why they took $450. Now I'm disputing it. I will be taking this to court!

    We booked a minivan for Saturday morning. When we arrived, the manager told us that she didn't have any vans, nor any suitable alternative. She did not offer to find us another vehicle. She said it wasn't her fault, it was Avis fault...but this was an Avis location. We called the main Avis number and they wanted to know if we could go to Burbank or Long Beach. We jumped on Priceline and found a van at Economy...we hope. We are waiting in

    Dont rent you car over here, they always find a way to charge you more. My last time they charge me almost 27 dollars because my gas wasnt full. Check on pic posted. Close to this location has many rent a cars, choose different one

    FYI, a lot of these reviews seem to be for the wrong location. This listing (and my review) is for the Avis in Culver City, NOT the one at the airport. What I can say about this facility: it offered what I needed. I paid to rent a car, and they gave me a car. Wait time was minimal. I stopped by and there was no line, and my car was waiting outside for me. I was satisfied with the model of the car. I believe it even had a backup camera in it - the type of conveniences you can expect from a rental place. Car could've been better cleaned. Check the photos - it was a bit grimy. When I entered the car, it had a weird smell. I thought it was the smell of cleaning chemicals. Nope. Two days later, I found the source - in the storage thing between the front two seats, I pulled out a canister of weed! I am not anti-weed, but I also don't smoke it, and I hate the smell. The fact that the car rental people left weed from the previous owner in the car is not ideal - what if I had driven somewhere where it was illegal?? I ended up giving the weed back to the dealership in case the previous renter wanted it back. To add on to the lack of proper care on the car, I received a tire pressure warning only a day after I'd picked up the car. This concerned me because I was about to head on a long trip. I had to take time out of my day to drive back to the Avis place and the guy working there was basically like "well, go fill it up then". To his credit, when I protested saying it should've been taken care of before, he closed up the shop to lead me to a place to fill up the tire. The first couple of places we stopped, the air machines were broken. He eventually led me to an automotive repair facility - a place I would've been intimidated to go on my own with a rental car, for fear they would've tried to charge me for adjustments to a car that was not my own. Luckily, the people working at the automotive place were incredibly nice and offered to check all of the tires for free. Not only was the one tire under-filled (I believe ~30 psi when it should be 36), but the other three tires were over-filled (~40 psi.) It made me worry about how well-maintained the rest of the car was. I received no compensation for having to take an hour out of my day to correct this issue with the car that should have been resolved prior to my picking it up. That having been said, the rest of my rental went well. I had no other issues with maintenance. I returned the car, and incurred no further charges. Overall, I got what I needed out of my rental, albeit with a few hiccups. I would rent from this facility again if it offered the best price; otherwise, I would go with the nearby Hertz dealership.

    Horrible service. Two people working. Line out the door! Preferred Member does nothing. Children sleeping on floor.

    This is what we drove on to our hotel! We could have died on the 405!

    Wash the car before renting it out or tell customer car is dirty was not vacuumed either

Adam's concern, and personal attention to my situation, were incredible. I always rent at Midway Car Rental LAX, because the staff and service are amazing, and the rates are excellent! Midway is a short walk from all terminals, thereby avoiding shuttle buses when arriving at LAX. On the return flight from LAX, following rental car return at Midway, Joe's Garage provides free shuttle to all terminals at LAX. Midway Car Rental LAX is the best!!

This past Saturday, my daughter and I picked up the car at the time now we had booked and met the wonderful Rob ( our birthday twin ) who was so helpful and so lovely! He was fantastic and the experience was fast, smooth and wonderful! Then, Lawrence, another fabulous employee checked us out ( going over all the car details) and made that experience easy peasy and we drove off so happy about the expeditious way everything was handled. Returning the car yesterday was again easy and I left smiling! I wanna give a big shout out to both Rob and Lawrence for being such wonderful people! Enterprise should be very happy to have such outstanding people representing their brand! So, this is my local community business and I know it's a big chain but I have to say this particular enterprise Rent-A-Car gets five stars and if I could give more I would ! So, I highly recommend!!!! TIP! TIP! : If you are not taking ( paying for) insurance for rental, MAKE sure you bring your own insurance card as proof that you have it. It's a new rule!     Extremely disappointing and honestly concerning experience…read more I was sent here through a Volkswagen dealership while my car was being serviced, and the entire process was handled poorly from start to finish. First, I asked reasonable clarifying questions about using an Apple Card for the rental hold process since the physical card intentionally has no printed numbers on it. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the manager - Carlos - became hostile, raised his voice, accused me of "trying to force" him to do something, refused to provide any escalation contact, and ultimately hung up on me. When I returned later to pick up the rental, I specifically requested that the authorization be run as credit rather than debit so my available funds wouldn't immediately be pulled during an already stressful move. Despite that request, approximately $300 was immediately removed from my available balance. Then the rental vehicle itself had a defective driver's seatbelt. I reported it immediately. Staff acknowledged the issue, took it to a mechanic, and then told me there was nothing they could do and no other vehicles were available. So I was ultimately handed a vehicle with a known defect involving the driver's primary safety restraint system and told to take it anyway because there were no other options. The combination of hostile customer service, poor communication, payment handling issues, and being given a vehicle with an acknowledged safety defect made this an incredibly uncomfortable experience overall.
