    Driver rear tire

    Willing to risk customers lives, sending them off with 4 bald tires with the cords showing. Drove 3.5 hours unknowingly the tires are well beyond their lifespan.

    I have often experienced unprovoked rude and slow customer service at this location. It takes them a long time to bring the car: sometimes I have had to wait a half hour or longer even when there was no one ahead of me. The attendants who are supposed to bring the car have been rude to and yelled at customers for no reason, simply for politely inquiring about ETA.

    HORRIBLE!! I called them his morning to see how much another day of renting would cost.... they said 104$, so I decided to rush because I didn't want to pay that much.. I didn't have time to get gas, but when I arrive they decide to lower another days cost to 48$, and cHarge me $70 for gas. U N C O O L

    Huge lines !!

    Terrible lines!!!! It takes 30 min to process one passenger. Very slow and unprofessional staff. The worst experience ever. Ruined my weekend with family

    I'm disgusted with this place. If I could give it a dam zero I would. And I made the mistake of not reading previous reviews because I was in a rush. That will never happen again! I will never rent from this company or location again. When I rented the vehicle they didn't let me look it over for any scratches or dents. The employee tells me not to worry about minor scratches or dents. He fills out the vehicle slip and turns it in for me. When I bring the vehicle back the same day another employee (Julio) walks straight to the hood of the car and points out a dent on the hood. He doesn't even walk around the rest of the car. I wasn't even out of the driver's seat yet when another employee (Aesha) walks up to the window and says I need your paperwork there is a dent on the hood. I told her there was not a dent and the car was only driven for a few hours. They showed me the hood and I was in shock! It was a ding that was less than an inch. You can't even see it. I told her the employee who gave me the slip to sign in the morning said not to worry about minor scratches or dings. Aesha shows me the slip and none of employee's information was on there and he checked off no dents or scratches. (See attached picture) I ask Aesha who was the employee who worked in the morning and she said she did not know. Really?? She can't look at the schedule? Ridiculous! Lies!!! So while giving her the rest of my paperwork I told her that I will be calling Avis cooperate office to let them know how rude and unprofessional they are. She then tells me that since I bought the 12 dollar insurance from them that I'm not liable for the damage. I told really? So you and the other employee (Julio) disrespected me and now I'm supposed to forget about it because it's covered. Not gonna happen. These people are scammers!! If you read other reviews they try to charge customer's insurance companies for minor crap. They thought they were going to do that to me that's why they treated me like crap before they got my paperwork. As soon as she saw that I bought the insurance she changed her tone. I don't think so!!!! Then I noticed on my receipt that their was an additional $100.00 charge. I ask Aesha what the charge was and she said that's a deposit that's placed on your card when you rent it. I said, "Are you serious?" When I rented the car that morning no one told me that. I explained to her that I understood about a deposit being held but it would of been nice if someone told me. She acting nonchalant about it and said, "it will be refunded to your account in 3-5 business days." I told her what if I didn't notice this charge and never got refunded? She acted like she didn't even care. I still will be calling Avis cooperate office. Please do not rent from this place!! That's what Yelp is about.. Customers have to look out for each other!

My new card did not arrive in time for my trip. Understand that it's standard for most car rentals to not accept Apple Pay / cash. However, Enterprise made it very difficult to work around this. This location accepts debit cards, but NOT from out of state customers. They said I could call a friend and have them put their card down and I could still rent the car without them in the vehicle. Luckily I did have a friend nearby and he came. However when he tried to use his physical credit card with their payment system, it would not work. So not only can you not use ApplePay, even physical cards sometimes don't work? They then told us that he couldn't use his debit card if he wasn't going to be in the rental car with me. I had to call a second friend to try their physical credit card, which luckily worked. Was stuck in their building for ~2 hours. Service also stinks in their office, so I had to exit into the garage / go downstairs to even communicate with my friends to come. The car they provided also smelled like cigarette smoke - even after they cleaned the interior. They let me take it without cleaning the outside since I was in a time crunch but would have expected the interior to not smell. The front desk lady I spoke with was nice but horrible experience overall - namely caused by their debit card policy and wonky technology. Won't be back to this location.

And the pickup / return experience went smoothly. We even got there a little early and had the car on the road 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup. The employee was not apologetic and we had the impression he was slowing down the process. We moved to the hertz office upstairs ... 20 minutes later still no car, no apologies and he was filling a form manually for 10 mins. Never had such a bad experience. I had an insurance and an umbrella I rent cars all the time and he gave me a lesson on insurance, I let him talk but considering then he took 45 mins to figure out the computer / car situation, he should have spared us the lecture retrospectively. His colleagues had no issue with computer and were nice. There was barely anyone in the store. The attitude, lack of apology was unusual. He threw the keys at us literally did not show us the car told us that was the one left. Terrible experience. Really not happy about it. No the service we are used to. If he is so bored he should be doing something not involving customer.

Reservations online was easy but the limits are exclusive that's, you cannot use or input your own insurance to waive theirs, nor change your reservations once it's locked in. The staff seems to lack the training to accommodate customer requests for small changes and seemed unable to modify anything from their end. Prices are reasonable, of course if you consider the NY landscapes and the location is just perfect however. Calling their customer service number is a nightmare cause no one picks it up, good luck on that. So, since I wanted extend for the second day, I have to go back to the station to ask for the extension. Guess what, the agent went for his break and I have to wait for an hour for him to come back? Really unprofessional! Having this opportunity allowed us to leave NY and head to Albany for the first day and Long Island for the second. Returning was easy, drive in and the security person will take the car and check you out, done. However, the security guard asked for a TIP for his work. I'm not a cheap guy but with a very disturbing and unprofessional experience, I felt this rental agency did not deserve a too from me. Driving on highway speed with donut tire in the rain can easily produce an fatal accident) Giving the car back, Budget staff wanted us to clean the car and take out a box of tissues that was not from us. And regarding the donut tire they told me the car is out of service and I should not have got it.

DO NOT rent from them under any circumstances. I feel so sorry for the staff working there because it is obviously not their fault that this company does not function whatsoever, but I am sure they get the brunt of frustrated customers every day. We reserved a car for 11:30 am, were told there were no cars and would probably not be for a couple hours. No other information was provided. Eventually, and only after telling them repeatedly that if we didn't leave by 1:00 pm we would miss a wedding, they transferred us to another location Hertz to get a car. This did not seem to be an isolated issue. There were 9-10 other people on the wait list for us waiting that long for their cars. It's cheap but it seems it's a 90% or more chance this will happen. In the future, I would pay $100+ more just to not deal with this company. Santos and Elizabeth who were working there were helpful in finding a solution and it was obvious that this is not in their control. They deserve a better employer and customers deserve a least some semblance of reliability from a car rental company. Main point: Don't rent from them, and if you absolutely have no other choice, leave yourself a 4 hour buffer minimum or you won't make it where you are going
