    This is where the gas cap is supposed to be

    After a long flight to New Jersey we just wanted to leave and get some food but our 1st car was dirty so we went back to get another car and when we were waiting a person behind us said his car was dirty and smells bad. After we got our second car we looked at it and it was dirty like more dirty than the last and the gas cap was gone so we had to go back and get a third car and that car was dirty to but we accepted it because we were hungry.

    What I found when checking the Newark Enterprise inventory. Can I say they are liars without saying it? Yeah look at the picture.

    I am disabled, injured in the line of duty, tall and cannot bend and fold into a compact like I did when I was young. So the Mercedes I had from them had a blowout and I was sent there for a replacement car. They decided to mess with me and make me wait 1 in a half hours to just find me a car, then another 20 to 30 minutes to do the paperwork and then force me into a car they saw I physically couldn't drive safely but it was that or nothing they said. Do not use them their people are rude, and lazy, they called security because my crippled person complained, you know maybe it was the flame on my cane that scared them. They claim they had no other cars they were sold out. I enclosed a photo does it look sold out? Enterprise did nothing to correct the matter correctly. So if you car breaks down in this area Newark has the largest fleet and the worse customer service because they hate to do swap-outs something I learned because I spoke to a friend that I found out worked there. So they made another branch Wallington that had nothing to deal with this apologize for ignoring my disabilities and forcing me to drive in a car that was unsafe for me to drive correctly due to being too tall and unable to bend the way I had to to drive said vehicle. So always know if you car breaks down, Enterprise will allow Newark to operate the way they did by getting the oldest and smallest car possible to make your life difficult because they hate being the ones that have to do swap-outs in the area. These displays that they want to know more and speak to you is a show to act like they are fixing the problem when they aren't. Just remember this story if you are paying more for a certain type of vehicle, Newark will ignore that and Enterprise has no control of Newark. Just remember if you have a disability Newark will be allowed to ignore that and place you in a vehicle or tell you then go get a taxi after Enterprise strands you in Newark Airport with a team that is pure evil to the customer.

    This Enterprise location at Newark Airport is the benchmark for all other car rentals. The service is stellar! I've rented cars hundreds and hundreds of times in almost every state, and this was by far, my best experience. These folks are on the ball! Arriving in NJ to visit family and attend a reunion, I decided to rent a car since I would be visiting different people everyday. As soon as I got to the Enterprise station, I was greeted with a genuine smile. My service rep, David Lako, went to get my car, rather than have me walking down rows of cars to find my stall. Yes, they bring the car to you! When he came back with the car, an economy which I requested, I told him the car was too big for my preference. He than ran to find another; still too big. Yes, this sounds like a Little Red Ridinghood story, but you see, I drive a Smart car so an Economy, while small for most, is ginormous for me! Third time worked and I drove off with my Fiesta for the week. While waiting for David to bring me my car, every rep that passed me asked if I was being helped or if they could assist me. Wow! Being that I'm a Jersey girl, I immediately felt like I was home based in their energy level (high) and they way they spoke (fast). These are my peeps! As I mentioned, because of my job, I flew and rented cars weekly for 25+ years and Enterprise at Newark Airport provided unparalleled service. Shout out to Dave Lako for being exceptional. Enterprise is now my preferred car rental company.

    0/10. I would not recommend Avis…read more I rented a vehicle for a work trip from June 15 (1:46 AM), picking up at PHL and returning at EWR on June 16 (2:44 PM). The vehicle contained a half-eaten burrito in the passenger door, a Gatorade bottle behind the passenger seat, and another bottle containing black liquid in the rear cup holder. I was then charged for 21,854 miles despite driving only 268 miles, resulting in a bill of $8,270.31. When I called on June 17, customer service representative Akilya told me a refund request had been submitted, estimated my corrected total at $179, and stated I would receive a corrected receipt by June 18. When I called again on June 19, customer service representative Pablo informed me that no refund request had actually been submitted, restarted the process, and provided a different estimated total of $199. As of June 21, I still have not received a refund or a definitive resolution. A dirty vehicle, an $8,270.31 billing error, conflicting information from customer service, and an unresolved case nearly a week after the rental ended make this one of the worst rental experiences I have had.

    BUYER BEWARE: I rented a car here for work over a month ago. I did only light driving for work, did…read morenot get into car accidents, and there was no damage whatsoever to the vehicle. I returned the car to the attendant at Newark and they checked me with the sight inspection that also confirmed everything was fine. A month passed by and now I was sent a mysterious bill claiming there was "damage" to the vehicle. I was flabbergasted and I reached out to customer support. They say they know there is "damage to the vehicle" but they are not providing me with anything specific or evidence of damage. They have my credit card and are just planning to charge it for alleged damages, when there was nothing ever reported as damaged. This branch is patently dishonest, and I would encourage others to steer away to other car rental places. I am horrified by their actions and their lies right now.

Our Code showed them how much it was supposed to be which was $78 and they tried to charge 280. We tried to explain that that is not the price we were promised to which they did not care so if you like hidden fees without explanation of what the fee fees are to pay more than you were supposed to pay for your car rental, this is the place for you. Also, I didn't think it was cool that they yelled at the dude next to me and screwed him over to where he was paying over $800 to rent a car for four days grow up.

When I reached to rent my car with my mom on the wheelchair, extremely exhausted, and ready to head to the hotel. I can't explain the kind of service we were given by associates and Manager almost end of there shift. They had very unique names and beautiful, for sure I am going to mistype but Messiah (manager) and his associates were very patient and helped us out from getting the car, showing the best fit for my mom, that can be comfortable, yet convenient. We ended up renting BMW X7, beautiful car. It was little high for my mom to step up, but Massiah, went above and beyond, he went on search for a stepper so my mom can sit without any inconvenience. Also, he walked me through the car system, since it was my first time driving it. Their service didn't just ended here, while returning, they escorted us to the terminal, the associate didn't just dropped us but stayed there with my mom until I checked in and I had available hands to drive my mom's wheelchair. What an incredible experience and service. Thank you everyone who were patience and helped us out through getting our car and returning it. You gained my business, I'll be using your services whenever in EWR. Thank you :)
