I have been to see several chiropractors and massage therapists over the past 15 years. I can say, hands down, this office is the best there is for both. Dr. Keating and his staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable about his field and in the past year and a half I have been going to this office for appointments has expanded his offering to include additional services. My first visit was through a Groupon for massage and acupuncture. I already had a chiropractor I like that I was seeing at the time of my first visit, but I was so impressed with the services at Avon Chiropractic that I decided to make the switch. The thing I think impresses me most about AC is that the staff really listen. They know your name and they not only ask about what you need, they take care of those needs. My particular healthcare needs are pretty challenging and pretty much any day I go in their office my needs are different. This is not a cookie cutter chiropractor office. Other places I have been will do the same things over and over, no matter what you tell them you need and no matter how much or where you hurt. But not this place. They focus solely on where you hurt and help you get better...whether it is through chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, magnosphere/magnetic therapy, ultrasound/STEM technology, etc. The front office staff is also pleasing to work with as well. I never have an issue getting appointments and if I have to change an appointment, they are flexible and work with me. The hardest part of scheduling is if you want to find time to get an actual hour massage appointment. Sara is really good, so you really have to plan ahead for your time with her. read more

I saw a coupon for $50 acupuncture, and thought it would be a good experience to get rid of trauma from 5 yrs ago. so I called and set an appointment but when I got there they had no idea what I was there for and tried to charge me/insurance for a chiropractor exam and then acupuncture. I stopped her at the beginning of the exam and stated I just was there for acupuncture so then she took me back to the room thankfully canceled the chiro exam. That saved me $150. After getting to the back room, I had a really great experience with the dr. but when the service was over and it came time to remove the needles, the front desk receptionist was the one who removed them and not the licensed docto... I now have this growing bruise on my neck. I dont think I'll be going back, they didn't know what was going on in the front and now I have a growing bruise... I know bruises are a side effect of acupuncture but this doesn't feel right. I might look elsewhere for acupuncture treatment... just sharing my experience. read more

Place is awesome! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. I took over some acupuncture sessions my wife didn't use. I had it done on my knees. Life long issues from weight, injury, and probably genetics. Patella tracking issues currently. I've had physical therapy, cortisone shots, taping, and meds. This is the only thing that made a difference. Range of motion and the actual ability to squat down! I had to hold on to something if needed to kneel down or to get up off kneeling position. I have been a patient for years and love all the wonderful services, provided by the most amazing staff. Acupuncture, muscle work, adjustments, ultrasound electric stimulation and now the new Magnesphere. After my first session, I had the best night's sleep and woke up with more energy than I have had in years. All I had to do was relax, in a very comfy recliner and the machine did all the work. I debated writing this review because at first I thought I was overreacting or being overly sensitive. I went to this office twice. The receptionist was pleasant. The MA seemed competent. I began my session with the chiropractor, and he started with getting some basic history. I have had intermittent back pain for the past few years, and actually got a breast reduction to relieve the back pain a couple years ago. I mentioned this, and was promptly asked, "how big were you before? Because it doesn't look like they took very much." I tried to let this comment roll off my back, I figured he meant well. I work in a doctors office and confided in some of the male and female doctors in my building and they all assured me that the comment made was completely inappropriate and they would never make an observation about a patients breasts even if it related to the back pain. It's worth mentioning that after being adjusted I went from mild intermittent back pain to constant severe back pain in certain areas. read more

So I'm one of those people who likes to research on the internet before using a product or service - and I take other people's experiences into account pretty heavily when making decisions. Especially when it concerns healthcare. That being said, I'm definitely glad I chose Dr. Gibson's office when I finally decided to stop "just dealing" with my neck pain. He was very attentive when I was describing where exactly things were hurting, thorough when showing me my x-rays and explaining what we were going to focus on with the treatment, and gentle when performing adjustments. Dr. Gibson's wife Susie is also a pleasure to work with at the front desk. At this point, I've been in for 6 visits and my neck is already feeling MUCH better. I'm almost sad that I don't get to go in for more than one visit a week now. read more

Everyone was great! Staff was very friendly and so was Dr.Keating. I was able to get an appointment that same day I called! Dr. Keating made sure to decrease my lower back pain until it was barely hurting. The pain didn't fully go away but it wasn't as bad as when I got in. I wasn't even able to sit on a chair before he helped with it! He was straightforward and told me that if still felt even a little pain to come back in the following week, but if I didn't feel any pain I could cancel my appointment and not have to come back. He also suggested some over the counter remedies if I was into that! Which I ended up using a patch and the pain was gone the next day after the appointment! I didn't have to go see him again, but I know that if I have any problems like that again, I will for sure go back to this place! With my insurance the visit was only $25 and I could go for 20 more visits and pay $25 each time. read more

Having been a competitive athlete for the majority of my life I've had the opportunity to deal with many chiropractors all over the country. It is rare to find a Doctor like Dr. Gibson who truly cares as much as he does about your well being. Not only have I felt very well taken care of but I also appreciate the speed at which I am seen. In talking with Dr. Gibson it was nice to find out that he was also a high level athlete himself and has a wealth of knowledge when dealing with my concerns. You can tell that he is a very caring Dr and truly wants to resolve any issues that his patients have. Dr, Keating is THE BEST!! I herniated 2 discs in my back in December. It was so bad that I couldn't walk unassisted for 3+ weeks. Dr. K and Jan provided the best care and treatment possible. I suffered from a bad case of tennis elbow, I let it go on too long. The doc was able to see me the same day I walked in and was very flexible with my schedule. The staff was excellent from the moment I walked in the door and has been the same on each visit. I was there to try acupuncture for the first time for a lower back injury that would not go away. I was a little skeptical on if it would work and worried about being needled, but I found that it worked way beyond my expectations and I only slightly felt two of the dozen or so needles that were inserted. My pain and mobility that had been there for five days were gone before I left the office, with only a slight soreness for the next couple of days until my second visit and now that is gone. Of the two needles that I actually felt, it was only for a split second and would be similar to poking yourself quickly with a safety pin and lasting about as long. The needles were in for 15 minutes and I never felt them the entire time with the exception of the two I briefly felt upon insertion. I would definitely recommend acupuncture at the Avon Chiropractic Clinic!!!! read more
