New year, new me! After considering my options for pain management and wellness for far too long, I pulled the trigger and scheduled an appointment at Integrated Health Solutions. Today was my first appointment. The front office staff was warm and friendly. I waited only about five minutes to be seen by Dr. Brinza while he saw the previous patient out and then wiped down the exam room. As I shared with him my aches and pains and how I'm trying to be proactive and take care of my body as I age, he really listened. After I was done, he as able to draw connections so I could see how several muscle groups were ultimately causing my pain. After adressing the problem and presenting a treatment plan, we discussed some wellness goals, what my financial responsibility would be, and what the treatment benchmarks would look like. I was fully on board with what he proposed, so we agreed to get started immediately. I received acupuncture, a chiropratic adjustment, as well as some soft tissue therapy before he showed me stretches and exercises that I'll be doing at home between visits in order to restore my range of motion. I have been coming to IHS for about 4 years now for chronic shoulder pain. Dr. Charbel and his team are amazing. They are always so professional and welcoming. I had 2 treatments, 11/8/18 and 11/12/18, for the shoulder problem I have been having and they charged me $218.12 and $110.62 respectively after those visits directly. Prior my visit, I provided them my insurance card through the email and they confirmed that my insurance will cover but I will have to pay out of my pocket since I still have deductible, which is make senses. After several weeks, I checked my accounts on Insurance's and HSA's websites that they billed my insurance for $194 for each visit and on those bills the allowed amount is only $65.88. As far as my understanding and experiences with other doctor offices, usually I get the bill (as much as the allowed amount) from a doctor office after they bill the insurance, and I only pay that allowed amount, nothing more. I asked them for this matter and to refund the differences ($218.12 - $65.88 and $110.62 - $65.88) but they refused to do so because they said they cannot claim the insurance for all the treatments they provided me. I am confused, because the treatment they did cost $218.12 and $110.62, but they billed my insurance for $194 each, i.e. they actually billed more for the 2nd treatment. I know this is not a lot of money, but that how they charge their customers (they told me on the voicemail) and I think this need to be stopped. I am thinking to do legal action to stop them doing this but I am not sure yet. read more

My shoulders were in so much pain and my knots were insanely tight...and he did some short of a miracle relief after seeing him. Dr Charbel is wonderful! He is smart, professional and you will see results. I broke my heel and had severe nerve and tendon pain around the surgical site. In just 10 dry needling & 6 cryo-therapy sessions I was able to walk as much as I wanted and even go on runs. After my surgery my surgeon told me that many will never run again after a heel break. After 3 months of extreme pain due to a bulging disc, sciatica, pirformis syndrome and extreme muscle stiffness/pain in hamstring/calfs, I found IHS online and called that very morning. I had been very depressed during this time as it seemed I was destined to be in pain the rest of my life; I had seen my regular MD a few times and he kept prescribing steroids, anti-inflammatory meds, and rounds of physical therapy...nothing worked and it all ended up being very expensive.
