I was first made aware of this company when I saw one of their company vehicles run a stop sign twice while delivering flowers. Like straight up, not stopping at all. I called the company to make them aware of this. Nobody answered. I emailed them regarding this situation with the exact details of the incident and a request to get back to me. There was no response either by phone or email. This company obviously doesn't care about people's safety. If you do, use another company. Placed an ordered online from the online service From Your Flowers.com, ordered a premium bouquet and the bouquet I received was far from premium,I don't feel it was even the cheapest version. It was supposed to have several roses not even one in it, artificial fall leaves were used. Don't waste your money you can go to Kroger buy a $15 dollar bouquet and do it yourself which is what I will do next time. I've used this online service before and not a problem but this florist was not used on those orders. I know it was this florist it was there delivery truck!! read more

BBB COMPLAINT- AVON FLOWER SHOP & Ava's Flowers i placed an order on 12/19/23 for sympathy flowers thru Ava's Flowers (ava's flowers.net) to go to a funeral of a friend. the order was to be designed and delivered by AVON FLOWER SHOP on 12/21/23 before 3pm. i received a text confirmation of delivery at 4:08pm. wanting to be sure, i called the mortuary to confirm only to be told that they close at 4:00pm. concerned that the flowers may not have been delivered, i called the mortuary this morning (12/22/23, day of funeral) and was told that no delivery had been made. the mortuary staff called me multiple times to say that they'd checked the funeral room several times just to be sure, as well as the delivery log from 12/21/23. i called Ava's Flowers customer service and spoke with Jean. in what ended up being a 59 minute phone call, most of which i spent on hold, no refund was offered and call was disconnected from her end. *of note, there were sounds of roosters crowing in background throughout the call- very unprofessional and odd... i immediately called customer service back and this time spoke with camille. after hearing my experience, she kept insisting that the order was marked delivered on their end. she offered a 50% refund, which i declined as i'm not going to pay for services not rendered. she offered to contact the flower designer (avon flower shop) and mortuary tomorrow at start of business on 12/23/23 and promised to call me back with resolution. in my frustation, i filed a complaint with BBB. the most upsetting part of this, other than being scammed, is that these flowers were for a funeral service that has already happened. there's no resolution for that. *update: joy from ava's flowers called me on 12/23/23 and offered a full refund after contacting the designer (AVON FLOWER SHOP) and confirming that no flowers were delivered. read more

We just moved to Avon recently, and my kids don't live in the state AND just had a new baby, so I was delighted to get flowers for Mother's Day. Not only was the arrangement absolutely stunning (and the flowers stayed beautiful forever!!), the gentleman who delivered them was so polite and kind and really made the experience extra special! I ordered flowers via Teleflora for my sister's 50th birthday. They were arranged and delivered by Avon Florist. I paid $84. What I got was no better than a $19.99 grocery store bouquet thrown into a vase. Zero arrangement. Not the size expected. No balloon. At the very least a florist should arrange flowers in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. I could have given my 8 y/o a handful of flowers and he would have done a better job. Received an arrangement after having surgery back in September. The arrangement consisted of a few blue orchid stems (not plant the I could of continued to get blooms from) and some other miscellaneous cut flowers that were really dull in color and the arrangement was just ugly. The orchid flowers started falling off after 2 days and the few flowers only lasted a few more days even after changing the water. I love orchids and the challenge to get multiple blooms. I would not use or recommend this florist services in the future. read more

I am only giving 1 star, because I can't give 0. I ordered flowers online for my daughter's birthday last year. I ordered the premium bouquet. She sent me a picture of them after they were delivered and I was aghast. They looked nothing like he picture. The flowers were different and not a premium amount of them as I had paid for. I was in tears. I'm a widow and extra money isn't easy to come by. I asked my daughter what florist had done the order and she gave the name Avon Flower Shop. I called them and told them how disappointed I was and I would make sure they never got another order from me in the future. Think twice about ordering from them. Read the reviews. Now, if I order flowers, I call a local shop, not an online flower business. read more

I'll give one star because they accommodated same day delivery, only .2 miles away but still. the bouquet does not look like the one I ordered. should have 3 diff colored roses it has 2 of the same color. it's not nearly the size or even contain all the flowers pictured on the website. my order was taken over the phone and this one wasnt my first choice but after being told some flowers they did not have I was under the impression I would get what I paid for when they confirmed the order. I paid for a vase in my opinion. won't be using them again. read more

Avon Florist did the flowers for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. We worked with the owner and she helped guide us in making the decisions needed to have beautiful flowers at a reasonable cost. About 2 hours before the wedding we discovered that we had not ordered enough corsages for the Grammas and they put two more together just in time. The bridal bouquet and the arrangments that hung on the entry lights were especially lovely. read more

I ordered my wedding flowers from Avon Florist, and they were GORGEOUS. Exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. We had to drive to South Bend (3 hrs away), and our flowers lasted all day! Note: for the groomsmen's boutonnieres, I would add a better clasp to them instead of just holding them with pins. I highly recommend for wedding flowers! read more

This florist really came through for me in a pinch. Due to a problem we had with the original florist ordering our flowers on time, we had to cancel last minute and find another florist for our wedding. Rita at Avon Florist and her fellow miracle workers got our order less than a week before the wedding. And I have to say, they BLEW ME AWAY. They were so kind and sweet, and just did an incredible job. Every centerpiece was different, and they incorporated the burlap and leather I asked for my barn wedding. Very classy and gorgeous, because barn weddings can get very kitschy very quickly. They even made the cutest shotgun shell boutonnieres for the gentlemen in the wedding party. Fantastic job, ladies!
