What a great choice I made by calling McNamara on a Sunday for a Celebration of Life delivery on Monday! I spoke to the nicest sales associate who took great time with me as I described what I wanted, along with my budget constraints. She took notes to make sure the floral designer got as close to my description as possible. The flowers were delivered in time to the neighborhood clubhouse without problems. I stopped in the Fishers McNamara Florist to check out their remaining inventory of Christmas decorations. The store was decorated beautifully and they had a lot to choose from. The merchandise was marked 1/2 off but at 1/2 off I still find the items expensive and not all that unique to justify the cost. There were several people shopping looking to take advantage of the sale which made it difficult to maneuver through the store. In fact as I entered I was greeted by a loud bang with one lady knocking over a mailbox post decoration. Their fresh flowers in the refrigerated section were beautiful & a large selection was available. Although the store was crowded with people I was able to park right in front. read more

I have to give this McNamara's the benefit of the doubt because they are trying to move the last of their Christmas items with a big sale, because I imagine in a week or two they will have all kinds of new items to explore in the showroom part of the store. During my visit, the pieces they still had were classy, just not what I was looking for. The store is laid out nicely and was easy to get around. Like the other McNamara's, they have a cooled room that they keep their fresh flowers in to prolong their beauty. I normally shop/browse the Greenwood store and this one seems quite a bit smaller in floor space and shelf space, so they just won't be able to show as many cool items. Went on Yelp and chose McNamara. They did a GREAT job on same-day delivery of doz. purple roses in a vase with card & candy to gf's work. Gf loved it of course, but reason for writing this is bc when I saw the roses myself they looked very outstanding. Gf wakes up & tells me about them daily. read more

This place is very warm and the staff is super helpful. I can't put into words how amazing the ambiance is. It's dark but welcoming and there is so much eye candy. I love everything McNamara makes. I never direct them with much detail as I know they have such artistry. I work in a hospital and I see many flowers coming from all over. I can always spot McNamara arrangements. Two weeks ago I went in looking for something for a small table as guests were arriving and I wanted to replace a very small artificial arrangement. I found a cute little colorful container and thought I would just put a few things in it and create something fresh since they were transitioning to their holiday decor. One of the florist saw me contemplating my choices and asked me to let her make something pretty. 15 minutes later I left with the most adorable arrangement that was perfect for my kitchen. 2 1/2 weeks later it finally is wilting. My husband asked me if I was sure it was real flowers nearly 2 weeks after I brought it home. They use very high-quality flowers that last a long time. read more

I ordered a WRISTLET Corsage for my sons girlfriend for HomeComing . The lady taking my order was very very nice, she took her time with me and was really listening to my requests. I believe I payed about $37 for this corsage, which I thought was high, BUT I expressed that I wanted it very special. Today I went to pick it up. A different woman was helping me. She went in the back got the corsage and showed it to me. At first glance, my first opinion was holy cow that's small. Lol. Especially for the money. I didn't comment on it , I just said thank you, and I left the store. When I got into the car , holy cow I wasn't happy. I was so disappointed today. I ordered flowers at 6 am to be delivered to my mother before 3 pm. I called at least twice to check on the status of the delivery and was told that they were en route. I explained to both employees that my mom was only going to be home until 5 so they had to come then or they'd have to be left on the front porch. Come 5 pm, my mother still hadn't received flowers. Apparently a delivery takes about 4-5 hrs to complete. So, not only did I have to ruin my surprise flowers, but then I had to break the news that they'll be left on the porch all night until the next morning. I was never offered reimbursement nor did I receive an apology. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back again. read more

Very disappointed. I purchased an English Garden basket for a group to send to their friend's wake. I chose the plants so his widow would have remembrance from us. The Persian violet lasted only a couple weeks. When I went back to shop the manager said 'they only last a short time.' Really? No mention of that when it was purchased. I can buy plant that won't last anywhere & much cheaper. read more

McNamara is great for weddings! I worked with Amy for several months, and she got both my 'vision' and my order down perfectly. As the bride, I had a million things going on leading up the wedding, and it was so nice to not have to worry about the flowers because I knew I was in good hands. The flowers were beautiful, and Amy was so accommodating with the Pinterest images I'd sent--including the succulents they wrapped twine around for our wedding favors. McNamaras is great place to shop for flowers. The quality of the flowers is so much better than any other place I have shopped. I always find something interesting when I stop in to buy a quick gift. They also have lots of candles and other gift items and the sales staff is always helpful.
