Went to get an inspection sticker and the male that helped me was very condescending with this responses. He kept saying that he had to drive my car in and the Owner that serviced my car there for inspection prior times had me drive it in. The worker stated I was lying... So he went to ask someone about it accused me of lying. Why would i make something up like that if i didn't i would have stated that. He then took off his gloves and sat back down making a statement that he or the owner was not gonna help so I went to another place that I took my car too before that handle the matter. I have been getting my car inspected at the location for sometime now and never had bad experience but after today I'm all set with them overall. Learn how to talk to people I'm a leader for another organization and have my own business I would not be that type of way to any of by guests or customers. Response from the owner it's a lied no one can drive the car inside only the inspector MR JAME, ITS STATE INSPECTION LAW.SO BEFORE MAKE THIS REVIEW YOU MUST MAKE SURE WHAT YOU TALK ABOUT MR....... So all the years that i came there and i drove my car in must be a lie now. Due to either you getting caught up with infringement of the correct laws. Don't come here to think you are in the right but learn to understand your wrong doings. You have cameras so check back the years before disrespecting others ass. HORRIBLE!! I recently purchased a truck from Avon Auto Brokers down the street from this station and my sales man said they had a collaboration with this service station to get me a full tank of gas for free and a free state inspection. I pulled up and my first impressions were not as expected. Very shady and a run down front office. A gentleman that approached me asked what they could do for me and I politely told them what I wanted. He said to me I can't fill your tank, so I told him again what I was expecting from what the manager from where I bought the vehicle. He told me again, no free gas, but I can give you an inspection and waive your fee. I thought fine, let's do this and have it taken care of. As I was waiting in the office there were employees walking around with no masks on, no social distance safety barriers in sight, and not to mention it THEY FAILED MY NEW VEHICLE!! The technician told me that in service it was probably a battery issue or a bad sensor within the vehicle somewhere. I stated my opinion and he fought back and told me they could have it fixed within 20-25 minutes. WHAT!!! I stated again where I bought it and how the mechanic at Avon Auto Brokers would said it would pass no problem. So he just stated again how he could fix it, told me he had done his job and just left my keys on the counter and walked away. I grabbed my keys and walked out the door furious that this place is not willing to help someone who just got a new vehicle, and just a very shady gas station in general! I went back to where I got my vehicle and they agreed with me about this business and my honest thoughts. Lucky where I bought the truck they told me how to resolve it and we're up front and honest. I will not be returning to this location again, no proper safety measures, did not listen to my concerns, and not to mention extremely rude. I have been purchasing my gas from Avon gas station exclusively so when my car would not start my mechanic checked it out and sald it was bad gas. I got a full tank at Avon Gas last week and that's the last time it ran. When the tank was dropped and drained by my mechanic the reports said it had almost half water and a foreign substance in it. It only stands to reason that such a large amount of water in the tank when I just paid to have it filled(the usual number of gallons not less) shows a leak in their seals. When I asked the owner his name he told me Simon. He rejected any possibility I got tainted gas at his station. His excuse for the pump running slowly was a problem with the electronics. Hmmmmmmmm, never ran slow any other time and I never got bad gas before this slow pump problem. There are no coincidences here just lame excuses. I'm calling bull**** on Simon's answer. The final kicker was this guy had the nerve to accuse me of lying to him. He said "anybody could call and make a claim to get money for repairs". Oh puuhhhlease!!! As if I have nothing better to do at 60 years of age. I have much better things to do with my time and I don't like my car being in the service station from tainted gas. Simon said the Avon police and fire dept buy gas from him. Whooooppeeeeeee an endorsement. Not in my book. Avon Gas isn't listed in "Boston's Best" so he's not. I will never buy gas there again. The town of Avon needs to investigate this issue. If his tanks have a loose seal a plume of gas will endanger wells in the area. This isn't something to shrug off or ignore because Simon is best buddys with Avon police and fire. On a kinder note the people who pump gas are friendly, especially the new guy who is always greets customers with a smile. I'll miss his smile. I am contacting The Better Business Bureau and the IRS about the practice of cash sales never including a receipt for customers. read more
