I actually followed Kayla Darnell from my chiropractic's office when she left to join Avona Huffman at Avonas Massage. I have since had massages from both ladies, and they are both top notch. Their office is a very friendly but professional office, it seems both Kayla and Avona go out of their way to make you feel welcome, at ease and appreciated. Kayla is the serious one but very friendly and proficient,110 pound dynamo. don't let her small frame fool if you're interested in a deep tissue massage. Avona has never met a stranger, it fact I don't think I have ever seen her not smiling. But don't let her jovial exterior fool you either, she is a real professional and VERY good at what she does. I have had a number of massages from others, Avona's ranks up there with the best. If you are looking for a complete and relaxing massage, in a professional environment, this is the place. Excellent excellent service. I made an appointment a day ahead and had no trouble getting the time I wanted. Justine is very professional and listened to my requests. She even made an oil blend at my request to sooth my sunburn. The atmosphere was clean and relaxing and not a "run 'em through and get them out" massage salon. This is a real massage spa. Price was comparable to what I pay at home. I had a 90 minute relaxation/deep tissue massage and it was one of the best I've had. if you're searching for a quality place, relaxing atmospher, and ladies that are incredible at their work you NEED to come here. I brought my sister here as a birthday gift during vacation and looked at a lot of different places, but decided to check this out after reading all the good reviews. it absolutely was worth it. we went back immediately and they were so considerate and thorough making sure the pressure and everything was to our liking. we both fell asleep and left so completely rejuvenated and relaxed. we will definitely be back every time we're in the area!!! read more

My wife and I had a one hour massage and one hour facial. Dru gave my wife the massage first, while Bee performed the facia to me. They were awesome and true professionals. There was a schedule change for the second hour. Cindy came in for my massage, while Bee did my wife's facial. Bee was awesome again. Cindy was jerky, super fast movements, rough in moving my limbs, and seemed like she just wanted to get it over, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. We're on vacation, and I get massages monthly at home, so I do have experience to compare it to. read more

MOST AMAZING MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! Literally lol. Ivona did my massage and my first time facial. I walked out feeling like a new person. Avona has a new location on mountain drive but the same great owner and services. They are rightly proud of their couple massages and are very accomadating. Avona (owner) gives one of the best massages in Destin and hires great associates. Quiet building with off street parking and more available across the street. Offices were decorated nicely and very clean. Employees were welcoming and professionally attired. I had the trigger point massage with Jo and it was a wonderful experience.
