This review is Walgreens in Destin, FL 32540, corner hwy 98 and Gulf Shore Drive. The (Latina) manager tried to price gouge, charge me $63 then other prices $51, 45 etc) for merchandise that my phone clearly showed the app was charging me $31.02. When I told her that was illegal, price gouging, she lit into me with a litany of insults, called me stupid and foolish and she used a racial slur. She also refused to sell the merchandise at all. And she said if I ever called the pharmacy for my prescriptions she'd have me trespassed (side note, I don't even get prescriptions at Walgreens and i don't think a business can trespass anyone for a phone call). She said (and I'm Caucasian): "all Nig #### aren't black." No one has to take that kind of language from that woman. read more

Extremely incompetent pharmacy. I have prescriptions that are due for refills and they're telling me that I'm not allowed to have them refilled here while I'm on vacation. I have to have them filled at my pharmacy in Ormond Beach. According to my doctor, that is not true. Called my Walgreens and they said they could transfer it over there but this Walgreens is refusing to take it so now I'm on vacation without my medication. They had the audacity to say they're not allowed to fill my medication's When they don't even know what they are! They are absolutely useless. read more

If you are looking to have a good day don't go to this Walgreens store. The cashiers are rude and they make you feel unattended. I have had a horrible experience trying to return a merchandise. Had to go back with the receipt even though I have a reward account with them. They could have found my transaction by searching with my phone number. So, I have to print the receipts and drive back another day. I felt disregarded and unconsidered. read more

Pharmacy manager Naveen Hang up on me Told me to call back after I calmed down..What upset me was her asking me why I was so upset and then not listening...isn't it ironic I could talk to the other managers and be civil because they took customer service over not liking what I had to say and I can assure you I not once used foul language....I still have no medication and no apology...this isn't the first time with same pharmacy!!! not professional at all. read more

Came to the pharmacy and Nevine (pharmacist) was really professional and helpful. I was really impressed with their service.

Terrible service. I was prescribed Accutane with specific instructions to pick it up Thursday. They were out of stock and I called them saying I had to pick it up asap or I would get locked out of the Accutane program for a month and have to redo a blood test. They assured me that I had a whole week to pick it up. They went ahead and took my Accutane number and info so they would make sure my insurance was covered and had all my info. Fast forward to Monday, my dr called me saying I could pick it up, that they had filled it. I went to Walgreens and they just now filed my info and needs a dr. Signature 30 minutes after my dr. Office closed. Come to find out, it's my very last day to get it before being locked out of Accutane for a month and have to redo the blood test. Terrible service and mislead information. read more

Horrible service! Doctor called my prescription in I come to pick it up at 8:50pm and pharmacist refuses to help me. To my understanding They close at 9pm and my doctor sends me there because it says 9pm too. I decide to speak to a manager and the manager is so incompetent and refuses to help she didn't even want to help by giving me corporate number. Being outta state and having to deal with this kind of nonsense it's ridiculous in a tourist place. read more

Unprofessional experience at the pharmacy. I came and dropped off three prescriptions at the window and inquired about the cost. One of my prescriptions was expensive. I asked could I omit the nausea medicine. I was spoke to rudely that I could get all of them or none of them. I was dumbfounded by this woman's rudeness. I told her I'd get all of them. She said my prescriptions would be done in 30 minutes. I asked her could I receive a text to let me know when they were done. She read my phone number off to me and said she would. An hour pass by with no text. Because I was waiting on pain medication and muscle relaxers I decided to drive back to Walgreens because I was in pain. I went in and ask was my prescription done and to inquire about the reason I could not omit one of the prescriptions that was the most expensive. The pharmacist told me that it was their policy if a doctor prescribe other medicines with a pain killer you had to get all prescriptions that accompanied it. But he would call the doctor if I'd like to omit the nausea medicine. I told him I'd get them all. But it would've been more professional for the girl at the window to have said " It's a policy that you get all prescriptions with pain medications filled together". Versus saying "Either you get them all or you get none of them. I will not use this pharmacy again . I believe this pharmacy needs to teach it's employees about professionalisms. read more

Wish I could put 0 stars. Went in for prescriptions for an ear infection. Already not feeling good, I told the woman at the pharmacy counter I wanted to wait for it and she told me it would be no more than 15 minutes. It is now 45 minutes later and I still do not have my prescriptions. If I would have known I would have left to go get food or something besides waiting here feeling terrible. Its your standard Wal-Greens. No more, no less. It is in a convenient location right off the strip. So its easy to navigate for random needs like extra sunscreen or Tylenol. It was set up like nearly every other Wal-Greens and the staff were about the same. This location was very clean and organized. read more

BEWARE: THEY DON'T LIKE "OUT OF TOWNERS" Horrible customer service at this pharmacy. I have a very serious long term illness and was treated like total street scum by the entire pharmacy staff because I had a prescription from an out of state doctor. Apparently, this store has "policies" against filling legitimate prescriptions for "out of towners." I own a home here on Holiday Isle and pay property taxes. News flash Walgreens: This is a tourist town. I'm sure you won't last much longer if you keep treating decent, honest people in this manner whether they are from out of town or not.
