This gym popped up on my search and I figured I'd be "good enough." Little did I know, this gym in this tiny town is better equipped than most gyms I go to in any big city! Granted, it was a strange set up and machines were maybe a bit too close to each other, but that's probably the best they could do if they wanted to provide machines for everything! It is actually decently sized, has multiple rooms for multiple purposes, the music was fun, the owner was great... Definitely recommend it!!

It beat my expectations! The hours are 8-6am M-F and 10-4 on weekends, but you can request a key card if you want to work out earlier or later. There are several cardio machines - bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals. I never had to wait to use anything. There are also several spots with free weights and other weight machines, plus places to stretch, so you never feel like you are on top of other people. The women's locker room is very clean. There are lockers, a shower, and a sauna. There is free internet in the gym. Although there isn't a tv on the individual cardio machines, there are a couple tvs that can change the channel to watch a show. The prices are very reasonable. $8 for a one time visit, $20 for a week. If you are local to Leavenworth, I think it was $40 for a month. Highly recommend if you are looking for a local gym or just a place to work out on vacation!

As a younger man, I enjoy my time hanging with the seniors because I just love listening to their stories about life and the jokes they share with one another to keep the spirits up. If you're thinking about joining it's incredibly affordable too, only $35/year for an individual & $55/couple I purposely left out many other great activities & events they have going on with the hopes you'll join us for coffee one morning and then you can find everything out for yourself :)

Even the bulletin board was pleasing to look at. Everything is just so quaint and charming! Now, I am a yoga teacher of ten years (and a practitioner, 16), so I think there's room for improvement for the two teachers I experienced. Nothing of alarm, just things that could have fine tuned the class. A little less loud music and singing bowl use, less breath command at the end of a posture, different phrasing for some parts that would've been more effective. But, I'm sure it'll get ironed out with time and feedback. The positive is that these people have heart. You truly feel like the teachers care for you. And Stephanie the owner is the sweetest gal I've ever met! What a treat for the Leavenworth community! I can't wait to practice there again! P.S. There are no showers here!

They always welcome my kids with a smile and a welcoming attitude. It's a commitment that we have never regretted taking on, and like every commitment, there are expectations that need to be met. Attendance, communication, dedication, and participation are very important in the process of the improvement of boxing skills. My kids have been attending this gym for about 3 years and have absolutely loved going to practice. They have learned so much and improved their boxing skills enormously from when they initially started. My kids have competed in multiple boxing tournaments all over the PNW and qualified to compete in national tournaments and have done fairly well for the amount of time they've been training. I needed to prepare for the trip. They are guides though so if responses seem delayed, they're in the field but, always responded. Be patient. Our guides on the trip were Pete and Joey. They were amazing and worked very hard to ensure a safe and fun trip. The communication from them was awesome. I personally had the skills & experience for this trip but watching them teach and transform the rest of our team was a joy to watch. I could barely focus on the teacher let alone the asana poses. There was zero tie to yoga other than inhale and exhale. The floors smell as I'm assuming students sweet just seeps in between the cracks in the mat floor. There was zero flow to the class and it was all inversion prep or counting down from 10 to hold a pose. Hot power is not a yoga class, it's a fitness class with yoga postures. At the end the teacher dropped a cool wash cloth on my hand. Would have been nice to have been forewarned about that. I might have passed. I purchased a 2 week pass but I'm unsure if I'll be back.
