I loved taking a class here when I was in town. I had a morning free while my husband attended to work and so glad I chose to drop in. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient. The pace of the class was perfect. The space is very cool, an older building with wood floors and tall ceilings. I was happy to see they also had mats and props to borrow. I meant to bring my mat, but forgot it. It wasn't a problem at all. Lastly, the prices were reasonable and it was all and all a very enjoyable class. I'll be back when I'm in town! read more

This is an intimate and charming studio. I came to chelan for a quick weekend getaway and last minute decided to come here for a drop in, and wow $22 for a 90min session is such a steal. Amy was our instructor and it might as well have been a solo session with how much care and attention she gave to correcting my form and challenging me in more difficult poses. Highly recommend! Next visit I make I'll be signing up for classes every day I'm there. read more

Lovely studio. Lynda is a beautiful soul with great energy aWe really enjoyed her 8am hot yoga class, and would definitely go back if we visit Chelan again. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of showers! You can get really wet in those hot classes, and leaving like that is not fun :) read more

Beautiful + clean studio. Lynda offers informative private yoga instruction + also various group classes. There's lots of helpful information on the website but she responds quickly to emails as well. read more

History

Established in 2008.

Yogachelan was started in March of 2008 and awarded "Best New Business of the Year" in Chelan by the Chelan Chamber of Commerce on November 12, 2009. Our yoga and pilates practices offer a mind-body approach to improving overall well-being. A regular practice can help develop self-awareness, manage stress, and build resilience. The mindful breathing and physical postures of these practices can support physical healing, develop strength and flexibility, relaxation, reduced anxiety, and emotional regulation. We offer a blend of hot and room temperature classes. For our hot classes we heat the studio to 100-105 degrees with infrared heaters. Infrared heaters emit a therapeutic heat that deeply penetrates the body. This deep heat can help increase circulation, relaxation, and energy; relieve pain and inflammation; promote the release of toxins through sweat; and enhance overall skin health.
