Lights out boxing gym is my sons one of the top favorite activities...our kids do multiple sports all year around and boxing is top favorites! Coach Mayra is very professional, experienced, passionate and very welcoming! I personally appreciate her gym as it is very family oriented and supportive! Her gym's requirements are as you'd find in any other martial art/ sport program: be in time, respectful, be consistent, and genuinely enjoy what you doing! I highly recommend this boxing gym over any other wanna be boxing gyms in the Wenatchee Valley. Coach Dan and Coach Mayra are true professionals in their craft. They always welcome my kids with a smile and a welcoming attitude. It's a commitment that we have never regretted taking on, and like every commitment, there are expectations that need to be met. Attendance, communication, dedication, and participation are very important in the process of the improvement of boxing skills. My kids have been attending this gym for about 3 years and have absolutely loved going to practice. They have learned so much and improved their boxing skills enormously from when they initially started. My kids have competed in multiple boxing tournaments all over the PNW and qualified to compete in national tournaments and have done fairly well for the amount of time they've been training. If i was able to too i will give 0 stars my wife and I have let so much slide yesterday my wife took the kids to boxing class, and when my kids got there the coach told my kids that there was no more classes for them do to attend do to attendance, the problem here is that she didn't tell me or my wife she went straight to the kids we had a family emergency and we had to go to Mexico for 2 weeks and when we came back gym was close till the 2/12/23 I already had to struggle to convince the kids to go to boxing because they didn't like that gym, because they had told me and we have seen it that she put my youngest kid to spar with kids bigger in sizes and weight and when they get hit she laughs they have told me even they will like to train home or go to a different gym I believe that if theres a problem the coach should talk to the parents first then together talk to the kids I get it is boxing and some things need to be coach on the spot but telling a kid you are no longer part of this gym is not ok read more
