Review is long overdue for which I apologize. This company was recommended to me by the auto dealer. Needed to have the headliner replaced on my convertible hardtop as well as a few leather seat panels replaced on the drivers side. Excellent quality work in a super reasonable amount of time. Love, LOVE these guys!! I had a relatively small project- a newly made fiberglass glare shield (dash / instrument cover) for a small airplane that needed to be covered with something. I wanted it to look good- and gave minimal instruction: "It should be black, look like leather, and have stitching visible along this edge..." Dianna took notes, I guess, and relayed the information perfectly. Whomever made the cover interpreted my wish perfectly, and did an expert job at sewing it up and applying it. The finished job didn't take long, and was less expensive then what I'd prepared for. I was given a mini-tour of their shop, and saw some really fantastic cars in for complete interiors- including a Rolls Royce Corniche convertible once owned by Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter!) Really, I could not be happier, and will be bringing my future projects (I have several) to Award. I just love these guys! read more

The headliner in the 2006 Mazda6 I had just purchased failed. The fabric had separated from the backing and was hanging on top of my head. I searched and called shops in Sacramento. Roseville, and Rancho Cordova. Even though Award Interiors was booked into the end of the year, I was given an appointment. The repair was 5 hours long and worth every minute of it. I had the top of the center console upholstered. This is an older car, 2008 Toyota. Avalon. The finished job is wonderful and the leather is an exact match. I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star. First off our car was vandalized and theft. We dropped the car off to Bertolucci and Bertolucci outsourced our Camaro. Well almost a year out back window shattered into pieces. First thing the employee/owner accused us of having a BB gun shoot out or if there is items in the back of the trunk this will do it. We told him if it was our fault we have insurance but this isn't and it hasn't been a year. He was very upset because something is wrong. Water is coming in the car while wash and all of a sudden back window is broke and there's screws missing. Well I've attached from a local dealership that stated they did installed it wrong. We run a business also not a shit show for other business to wrongfully accuse you of damaging something you didn't damage. I wouldn't recommend coming back here and I wouldn't trust my car back here with the nasty attitude. If you guys can steer far from the customer service this place gives you, you'll save yourself the headache. read more

Excellent work! Looks original, material was a match and fast turnaround. Dan is very professional and friendly. Here's what really happened: I went to a different shop who told me they didn't work on Mercedes because they require special tools - another shop told me they couldn't guarantee a color match - so I called Mercedes of Sacramento and asked if they could recommend... without hesitation he said "Award Interiors does great work!" I had my classic car interior restoration with Award Interiors and I was blown away by the quality and amazing service my 1972 Plymouth Mopar received. It was a pleasure working with their team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore or replace their current vehicle's interior. They replaced the front and rear seats with foam, vinyl and new hardware as well. They replaced the carpet, the headliner, the door panels the interior quarter panels and the dashboard. They also replaced the center console and repainted all the hardware that could not be replaced in a dark green and black to match the dark green and black interior color scheme. I was impressed by how efficient and professional everyone was from the owner to the front office staff that I worked with to make sure that everything was how I imagined it to look like when it was completed. Because of the pandemic some of the custom parts took over 9 months for Legendary Auto Interiors to manufacture but Award Interiors installed everything and more ahead of schedule, which anyone who owns a classic car knows is very rare. This company stands for incredible attention to detail. They literally brought my 15 Year old interior back to brand new. BRAND NEW!! They are worth every penny they charge. They had to custom recreate my interior because the car has zero collector value and is not worth a lot. What I saw upon picking it up just floored me. Someone cared an awful lot and gave me the gift of beautiful craftsmanship. The car is very important to me and they treated it like some of the $100k collector cars I saw in the shop upon pick up. These guys are amazing. I don't believe the Land Rover review at all. Again the quality is unbelievable. They don't just do that on a car like mine and then suddenly turn low quality on another car. Like I said, this is unbelievable workmanship. I had thought the work would be pretty good. It was better than I could have dreamed. This type of customer service literally doesn't exist anymore. Award Interiors did a great job replacing the headliner on my Cayman. It basically looks like new. The headliner fabric had been sagging down for years, which I guess is somewhat common in Caymans, but I had avoided getting it replaced due to the cost - mostly based on the estimate the dealer had given me which required importing fabric from Germany.... So my mechanic recommended Award and their estimate was very reasonable. I ended up using them and was very happy with the work that was done. I would definitely recommend Award Interiors if you need similar work done. They do quality work, are friendly, the work was done quickly, and the pricing was very competitive. read more

Save your money and your car...stay away from Award Interiors. Brought my vehicle to Award to have its headliner replaced. When I got the vehicle back, the headliner itself seemed fine but a number of plastic interor trim pieces that had to removed/replaced as part of the job were either damaged or missing. When I spoke with the owner about the problem all he did was pass me off to one of his shop workers (presumably, the same person that caused the damage, then tried to hide it). After a lot of "I didn't do it" (if not you, then who); "the parts were damaged/missing when you brought the vehicle to us" (no, they weren't)' blah blah blah I got hung up on. Now, I get to dig into my pocket to replace $300 worth of broken and or missing parts. Way to go, Award. Keep up the good work. read more

I have a 2002 Camaro Convertible and it needed a new top. I went to a guy in West Sacramento who regaled me with how wonderful he is. It has been 4 months since he said he would call -- still waiting. Dianna at Award Interiors was engaging and personable on the phone and when I visited the shop she and her dad (the Owner) were very straight forward. I got a price on the spot an appointment was made. 2 months later they were ready for me and the car was ready the next day. No up sale nonsense to price change just a beautiful job. Recently took my vehicle to Award Interior, second time we have gone to them for their services. We had our headliner reupholstered and it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Last time we had them repair the drivers seat of our car, the leather had worn out. I couldn't believe it .... When we got our car back the drivers seat looked brand new!!! I took a vintage car of mine here, to have its carpets and seats upholstery replaced. They not only know what they are doing, but they are experts at what they do, make it look easy, and feel painless. They made sure they had all the needed supplies on hand first, so only needed my car for several days. The carpet and seat upholstery matched the interior & exterior color of the car, but the fabric was of a far higher quality. So it was of far higher quality than when it left the factory production line! I wouldn't hesitate to take ANY car to them, be it an old Peirce Arrow, ... a rare old pick-up truck, ... an Austin Martin, Ferarri, Bugatti, ... Rolls or Bentley. They just don't get any better than these guys!
