I recently had the pleasure of working with Jessica at A&E for custom engraving on a glass vase that we were considering for a customer award. Although we ultimately decided not to move forward with the project--mainly due to our own last-minute planning--Jessica's support throughout the process was exceptional. She went above and beyond to source the perfect vase for us and provided our detailed mock-up of the engraving within 24 hours. This facility was built from the ground up about 30 years ago and has been a cornerstone of good business . "Friendliest service in town" is their motto and it couldn't be more true. I've ordered many products over many years and while some places might be cheaper you can't beat the quality or the friendly service. "You get what you pay for" is very true but the friendly is free..... read more

Poor quality. The staff is very friendly but i had 2 yettis and a plaque done there and nothing was right. They tried to fix the issue by grinding the errors off of new yettis. Who wants their new yetti ground on? And i can still see the errors. Quality is very poor and i would choose another establishment before going back. read more

For our sports teams and schools we provide items such as trophies, plaques and appreciation awards. While our corporate customers enjoy the more elegant acrylic and crystal awards to commemorate retirements and special achievements for their employees. For our industrial customer their needs include plastic and stainless signage and engraving on panel tags. And all of our customers enjoy the huge selection of promotional products to promote and advertise their organization.

Starting this business over 20 years ago as a bit of a hobby, I had no idea that it would evolve into the business it is today. This could not have happened without the support of my family, friends but more importantly our customers. Stay away! Called to request a quote for a fairly easy project but with a tight timeline. The lady…read morethat answered the phone told me they would get back to me. I never heard back and called back. The second time, she told me the sales person had just gone on break but she would call me back upon return. 3+ hours later, and no call back. I understand it's a busy time of year, so decided to check in. The same lady answers the phone and asks me to hold. She thinks she puts me on hold but did not. I hear her entire conversation. They chat about none sense (jogging pants?) for about 3 minutes. Finally she tells the sales person I am calling again. The sales lady says "what does she want? Did you tell her I can't help her. We are trying to watch Judge Judy and have a rat problem to deal with?". She finally gets on the phone and is not even pretending to be friendly. What kind of business is this? A simple "we can't help you" in my initial call would have sufficed and saved me so much time. So glad I did not do business with them. Extremely unprofessional. I would suggest that the owner look into training her/his staff in customer service and phone etiquette.

Between my grandfather and I, we had six watches needing repair. Did my research and wanted to support small business. Found this shop. Called to ensure he would be open if the current pandemic situation. Answers the phone with simply "hello". Is this the Watchmaker Specialist?", I ask. "Yes." I then asked if he would be open the next day to drop by with the watches for repair. "No problem. I will be here" he responds. "Excellent. See you tomorrow." Today (the next day), I picked up my 89-year old grandfather to drive 25 miles to his shop. Arrive to the office building, then had to had to show my driver's license to a security guard. It has to be shown to a video camera where they take a picture of your license. Was not crazy about that given identity fraud. But had to do it to gain access to the building. Made our way up to the 7th floor, found the suite, only to find the office locked. Sign on door says call the number. So I do this and again, simply "hello". I let him know we were standing at the front door. "Who's this?", he asks. "A customer" i replied. "Oh, I am not there. I went to get some dinner. Can you wait 30 or 45 minutes?"........ So he wanted my grandfather and I to simply hang out and wait for him. Not very good customer service especially after I called beforehand to verify it was good to come down at that time. Which it was. But he left us in the lurch. We went someplace else. Was not a goid customer service experience.

I attended an estate sale and purchased a large, heavy mirror. I realized I wouldn't be able to…read morehelp carry it, so I asked a staff member if someone could assist. She told me yes and mentioned a tip for the person who helped. A gentleman then helped my husband carry the mirror down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.

I have ordered a variety of products from Awards & Engraving over the past 15 years. The business' vast product selection, consistent high quality of work, attention to detail, timely and punctual service, and friendly staff make it the obvious choice for my gift and awards needs. However, for me, the company's genuine desire to serve it's whole community and region with individualized attention and care keeps me from even considering a different place. I even had special shirts made here with an inspired graphic design created by the staff. They came out perfectly & brought many smiles this week, even amidst our current health crisis.
