I understand that Leonard is now the one and only worker here at the Embroidery Hut in Baybrook Mall. He took over after December 2020. I had my hubby's scrubs monogrammed and they are neat, exact, and durable. They get washed once to twice a week and I have had no issues since December 28th. Leonard is patient and takes time to measure the item and show you exactly what it will look like. There are tons of colors to choose from. I dropped off shirts. We customized my order, I paid. I visited the Embroidery Hut tonight and my sweaters look horrible. My logo has circles around it that looks like disfigured ovals and some of the mangled circles look like small commas that were misplaced. I literally paid $94 for embroidered logos on 4 sweaters (including the $20 setup fee) for something I would not pay $5 in total for. The person manning the "hut" told me after he butchered my sweaters that the sweater material was not right for the design...which is information I would have appreciated before the hack job on my sweaters. If the circles were a problem, I would have either omitted them from the logo or opted not to have them done. When I asked if the sweaters were done one at a time the brilliant guy said "yes they were" in which I responded then why would you continue with the other 3 if the 1st one was botched. He could have called me and said that I could come back and see what I thought but that he was having issues with it! So now I am beyond angry I paid over $100 for the sweaters and almost another $100 for some obviously uncaring, unempathetic PERSON to mangle my sweaters and I still do not have a sweater my team can wear. Supposedly the owner Akram" is supposed to contact me who hasn't at this point so I'm doubtful that he will. I don't usually rant on social media AT ALL but this is a blatant disregard for other's property and the fact that I can choose to spend my money anywhere and I CHOSE to drive from my office in Southwest Houston so I can buy local and support Bay Area, makes me livid!!! Akram, I want the full value of my sweaters and the cost of the botched embroidery service I received tonight. The guy embroidering obviously with his eyes closed and half sleep (complaining that he's worked 20 days straight and chugging coffee) was actually training some poor unexpecting kid to do "the job". "Kid run quick and find somewhere else to work that cares enough about its customers to produce quality work. You don't need training to produce the work of your "trainer"!! P.S. Quick, neat and cost efficient embroidery done on my kids backpacks!! I know the saying is you get what you pay for but it's Embroidery on backpacks and I saw the equipment and material and it looks like the same I've seen in other strip shopping center location and I paid way more at those locations unknowingly just wanting a service and not checking around 1st. Welp glad I found this gem on Yelp I was able to get 2 items for the the cost of 1 item if I had taken them to another location. You should give them a try, the quick turnaround time alone was worth the trip.it took 35 minutes and 2 years ago I had to wait over a week for less work and more cost. Great place to visit when you need something embroidered in a pinch. The prices were a bit steep, but if you're short on time, this is the place for you. And...since it's located right inside Baybrook Mall, you can pass the time by shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or having a drink at Caps and Corks (or at one of the many restaurants on the green). I had 3 items embroidered within 2 hours of drop-off. For me, Embroidery Hut saved the day! (Just FYI, the business is run from one of those little mobile carts. The man who might have been the owner was looking at me in a very unfriendly manner when I was asking clarifying questions regarding the embroidery service for my baby girls stuffed elephant. He then stated "it wasn't his first time". I should be comfortable to ask questions and not made to feel stupid or patronized. If you choose to use the service be warned you better not ask questions or seek reassurance on your precious item. I took my business elsewhere. read more

This was my first experience with embroidery services. I think that this is a great idea- place your order then walk around the mall for a bit while it is completed. Beware when you go, however. I went right before school started and did not my receive my finished product for multiple days as they had piles of orders to complete during that time. I was looking to get some items embroidered and had high hopes based on previous reviews. When I approached the kiosk, I was not greeted and the employee was very unfriendly. It was obvious that he was not interested in taking the time to answer my questions. From dropping off and picking up my items, I got less than 10 words out of the guy. Didn't even get a response when I said "hello." (and when you're standing AT the kiosk right in front of you, I'd like to think you can hear me!) Work of the embroidery was good, price was more than I have paid at other places, but based on customer service, I will likely not be back. read more
